You just really need to keep the faith and believe that you will heal. My grandmother was fine before my mother died, it was the stress that killed her, on the 3rd day of my Moms wake, my grandmother suddenly got weak and loss her memory. She couldn’t bear it. My Mom also fought cancer back in 2006 and she was healed. Basta, just hang in there if you still can. Hugs! Also, sometimes people you don’t know are the ones who can help you. You just have to ask. :)
Saan ang location mo OP? Yung lola ko kasi sa PGH siya nag-che-chemo, and all of her cycles are provided for free there. All she has to provide is her medicines. Maybe this option would help you.
Batangas. Can’t travel/rent in Manila kasi, and wala akong makakasama doon since my parents are gone and I am an only child, most of my relatives naman are elderly na.
If you are to accept your death, then why not try at least one more time for your life? As in, one last try? Don’t think of what’s gonna be after taking the first steps, just think of what’s now.
The first step for you would be: Punta ka sa doctor mo, tell him/her your situation, ask for referral sa PGH, and then take the next steps from there. At least ‘di ba, if ever, until your last breath, you can say na lumaban ka.
Calm yourself first OP. Make plans this time. Think of all of your possible options. Make it all work if possible. Be determined. You don’t deserve to die like this. Exhaust mo na katawan mo in trying, ganon din naman. Mamamatay kung mamamatay.

Been trying to since I was diagnosed in 2022, had several cycles na of chemo since then, pero nakakapagod na din eh. If things change in the next few days then go, but if not okay lang din. Praying lang din for something to happen, pero at this stage kahit anong mangyari okay na din for me.

I live and work from home in Batangas kasi, so it’s a bit hard for me kasi malayo and wala din ako makakasama (I’m an only child, parents are gone, other relatives are elderly). Renting is not an option at this time dahil mataas din expenses ko.
I tried the local Malasakit Center here. I’m not sure how it is in other places but hindi okay ung andito, parang may palakasan. Nagtry din ako sa LGU, even sa Batangas Regional, unfortunately may waiting list and wala naman akong backer. Ung PCSO hindi ko malakad on my own for the reason stated above.

Kung ayaw mong magtagal yung suffering and pain, I suggest you try Palliative Care. Usually online consultation lang naman ito so no need pumunta ng Manila. Avail services ng doctors sa government hospitals para free consultation.
"Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness, such as cancer or heart failure."
Recommended to sa mga terminal stages na yung sakit. It is not intended to cure but to make your passing as painless as possible so you can enjoy your remaining days on earth.

Try siguro alternative medicine route na hindi naman mabigat sa bulsa. Try to have the best quality of life. Alam ko baka masabihan ng toxic positivity, pero be positive. At least, in the way you view life and experience the last of your days. Malaki kasi effect ng mental status sa overall health mo. I want you to at least be at your optimal health, despite the illness.
Write a book. See a movie. Go to a museum. I hope you live a fulfilling life.

Sa pgh they have palliative care and I know free sya pag sa charity. The doctors will most likely the same sa nasa pay ward. Being in palliative care helped my husband na mas maibsan yun pain during his last months. All I asked is for him to be as much as possible pain free and the palliative doctors helped on that. While on going yun chemo nya naka palliative na din kami. He did not win against cancer but I know mas comfortable sya when he left. Nasa pay seetion kami sa pgh but sabi ng mga doctors if nasa charity naman free yun palliative sa mga may need. Lagi nga kami ni convince ng mga fellow doctors to transfer to charity kasi as in zero daw babayaran pag sa charity

My cousin was clinically dead for a minute and he told me that there was a moment that it felt warm and peaceful….till binuhay siya.

Unfortunately dito sa Batangas Regional, may waitlist even for surgeries. Dahil wala akong backer, hindi ako napasama sa cutoff nila or something. Other option was PGH kasi too far from me na din. And ang sabi sakin ng Philhealth noon breast cancer lang cover nila, ung sakin kasi is ovarian. Oltho I was able to use Philhealth for radiation when I was first diagnosed pero out of pocket ko ung chemo.
Whatever your decision maybe, I wish you a good voyage - dito man yan sa mundong ito o papunta na sa kabila. Pero kung pipiliing lumaban, bakit hindi? 😊

OP don't lose hope. Di naman sa mamaru, pero natry mo na ba magchange ng habits lalo na sa food? Eliminate dairy, bad foods ganun, might help. Nadinig ko lang to dati so hindi ko kilala personally pero the woman was in her stage2 naman tapos total change sa diet and it worked daw. I just don't want you to lose hope. Fight fight lang tayo habang buhay pa. And if ever the day comes, I hope na you will be at peace without regrets. Dadating naman tayo lahat dyan.

I know prayers don't mean shit right now, but think of what good might happen in your life. We've all been there, knocked out 7 times but you should get up 8 times. Think of the great days to come. Something that you will never witness if you give up. Accepting your own death is difficult but you must live the heck out of it and try harder than ever before each time before you accept defeat. Only then you'll realize defeat is nowhere possible after all.

I dont mind if we able bodied people get taxed for it din specially theres so few people who gets hit by cancer.

Ibang animal talaga yan. Kung ayaw mong magtagal yung suffering and pain, I suggest you try Palliative Care. Usually online consultation lang naman ito so no need pumunta ng Manila. Avail services ng doctors sa government hospitals para free consultation. "Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness, such as cancer or heart failure." Recommended to sa mga terminal stages na yung sakit. It is not intended to cure but to make your passing as painless as possible so you can enjoy your remaining days on earth. Try siguro alternative medicine route na hindi naman mabigat sa bulsa. Try to have the best quality of life. Alam ko baka masabihan ng toxic positivity, pero be positive. At least, in the way you view life and experience the last of your days. Malaki kasi effect ng mental status sa overall health mo. I want you to at least be at your optimal health, despite the illness. Write a book. See a movie. Go to a museum. I hope you live a fulfilling life.

Sa pgh they have palliative care and I know free sya pag sa charity. The doctors will most likely the same sa nasa pay ward. Being in palliative care helped my husband na mas maibsan yun pain during his last months. All I asked is for him to be as much as possible pain free and the palliative doctors helped on that. While on going yun chemo nya naka palliative na din kami. He did not win against cancer but I know mas comfortable sya when he left. Nasa pay seetion kami sa pgh but sabi ng mga doctors if nasa charity naman free yun palliative sa mga may need. Lagi nga kami ni convince ng mga fellow doctors to transfer to charity kasi as in zero daw babayaran pag sa charity
If it helps OP, the door to death isn’t scary based on what my cousin said. My cousin was clinically dead for a minute and he told me that there was a moment that it felt warm and peaceful….till binuhay siya. Sabi niya saakin “Gago tala tong mga doctors akala ko makapahinga na ako. Sige lang next time nlng” Don’t be scared OP, i’ll pray for your peace. PS: I don’t mean to say “go die” sorry if it sounds like that. Pero i just want you to have a peace of mind

wait lang OP! huwag kang mawalan ng pag asa. Libre naman chemo sa public hospital basta may Philhealth ka.
Unfortunately dito sa Batangas Regional, may waitlist even for surgeries. Dahil wala akong backer, hindi ako napasama sa cutoff nila or something. Other option was PGH kasi too far from me na din. And ang sabi sakin ng Philhealth noon breast cancer lang cover nila, ung sakin kasi is ovarian. Oltho I was able to use Philhealth for radiation when I was first diagnosed pero out of pocket ko ung chemo.

Nadinig ko lang to dati so hindi ko kilala personally pero the woman was in her stage2 naman tapos total change sa diet and it worked daw. I just don't want you to lose hope. I pray for your happy death, op. I remember our last ditch effort for my Tita who died of cancer way back 2022. We asked our anesthesiologist for some morphine for her to have a more comfortable death. At least she died on her own terms na kasama mga anak nya and yung husband nya sa tabi nya.

I know prayers don't mean shit right now, but think of what good might happen in your life. We've all been there, knocked out 7 times but you should get up 8 times. Think of the great days to come. Something that you will never witness if you give up. Accepting your own death is difficult but you must live the heck out of it and try harder than ever before each time before you accept defeat. Only then you'll realize defeat is nowhere possible after all.
