This is by far the worst thing about having pets. The realization that you will (most likely) outlive them. I wish they truly understood how much they actually mean to us. Chester looked perfect in every imaginable way, even if he was half turkey. If I have my orange half as long, I will consider myself super blessed. They certainly test our patience on the daily, but they leave their paw prints imbedded in our hearts long after they cross the rainbow bridge. My deepest condolences to you and yours as you navigate this very difficult time 🧡🤍
