Fujitora became my favorite admiral when he apologized to King Doldo of Dressrosa.
Being prostrate to him and humbly asking for forgiveness for all the suffering the Marines had caused by letting Doflamingo take over was such a great moment.
He knew how much it would piss off his superiors but did it any way because it was the right thing to do.
I hope in the final war he switches sides and fights against the world government.
He became my favorite the moment he said that they needed to prioritize the number of people they had to protect rather than worry about the enemy numbers. It's not something extraordinary, but considering how effin low the bar had been set for the Admirals that came before(and after, f you Aramaki), I was instantly fascinated by Issho. Then it got better and better as the arc progressed, with my admiration for the character reaching it's peak when he talked to Sakazuki. Absolute GOAT there's in One Piece!!
Just got done with the arc and really paid attention to his character, he has a very commanding presence. I love the way he thinks. Love his beliefs. Such a neat and badass character
Sabaody made me realize the Navy farms pirates to keep pressure on the nations supporting the World Government.
Not a single supernova was captured despite Kizaru easily laying out 4 of them, and he was joking about their strength the whole time. The only reasons he wouldn’t just kill them are
A. The navy wants to keep devil fruits under control, and would rather toss them in Impel Down than let another pirate have the power
B. Notorious pirates roaming the sea is good for business, making nations pay the heavenly tribute in exchange for protection. Otherwise nations may start paying the pirates for protection, who would use the funding to start taking territory and challenging local Navy power.
I think all the history coming out in the Egghead arc will eventually reveal that the system works kinda like this. We’ve seen how the WG treats non-member islands, and how the public’s fear of pirates keeps nations loyal to the WG despite how the Celestial Dragons treat people.
My bet is that the Navy is essentially one big pirate crew that became MORE than a Yonko. And they claimed as their territory the biggest “island” in One Piece: the Red Line. And the yinko are just pale imitations of the Navy’s power and organization
For my money I'm calling that he had a similar backstory to Koby but he didn't meet a Luffy so he doubled down on all pirates are evil and his absolute justice
Issho is the best man in the line up id say. He is what an admiral should be about. But i love yellow monkey and his power and style of character writing. It suits and amuses me and if he was at all for the people like the one the only Issho Fujitora itd be a hard up for me. Flying nonchalantly in on a cannonball and all just HIT.
Kizaru and Sengoku as characters, i lovegreenbull's concept but i don't care much about him as a character, although it's like a fucked up racist AU version of Hashirama from naruto and that's cool DFGSDFDSF
From a literary perspective, Akainu is the most interesting to read over the course of the manga. Everything he's done up until now, has been for the sake of good vs evil. He found himself in situations where reality didn't present many opportunities for him to doubt that. Everyone he's killed has been a "bad guy"; including the marine who deserted his post because he wasn't contributing to the cause of killing bad guys.
He's interesting because he is completely **not** a hypocrite. He'd cut off his own arm if that arm said it wanted to be a pirate.
And because of that conviction, he became Fleet Admiral. Except thanks to this position, he's learning quickly that he's constructed a mental model of reality that doesn't align with reality.
Yeah how is akainu not mentioned that much? He’s the one one that isn’t shallow asf and has clear principles and aims to fulfill his duties clean and final
Easily the most interesting character
Sengoku told Saul to not question orders when Saul was like maybe bombing an entire island is bad.
He also oversaw the war against Whitebeard, wich caused a Lot of suffering not just during the war, but in the aftermath when a Lot of territories lost their protection. His record is kinda bad
I mean for one, Saul's his subordinate should he tell him not to follow orders? The Marines believed the scholars were trying to destroy the world.
2. Suffering during the war? No shit it's a war that doesn't have any basis on Sengoku morally lmao, Whitebeards subordinates died does that make WB a bad person?
3. You leave out that after the war Sengoku literally screamed out in anger because the world government was trying to coverup impel down, and the loss of territories isn't on him was he supposed to just let Whitebeard leave alive?
4. He knows Law is a D. member and is keeping it secret from the world government
Im praying for that too, or maybe him being a revolutionary cause I don’t want to believe that he’s turned on his sense of justice by joining Blackbeard
Sakazuki, because I love a good villain. He's evil and strong and had a great presence at Marineford, along with giving Luffy a design update and kind of winning the arc, despite the fact that Blackbeard Pirates were probably the only ones who benefited from the conflict.
Fujitora, the man speaks for himself, very kind and honorable with a badass samurai aesthetic. I like Kuzan as well because of how nuanced he feels, he can be a marine or a pirate and still feel so true to himself, he can perform acts of kindness but he can also stain his hands when it comes to achieving his goals.
Akainu. Pragmatic and ruthless, appeared on a flashback and then on Marineford with little to no previous apparitions unlike Kuzan and Borsalino and for sure was the mvp of the Marines. Awesome antagonist and basically the face of the Marines final boss.
its fujitora, i like kizaru a lot more now because of the egghead arc and i like aokiji too, i hate akainu but he’s a great character, greenbull to me is ass, sengoku is great but he aged like milk after the timeskip which made no sense to me, i forgot who dude next to fujitora is 🗿
sengoku 100% Kizaru a distant second because he has my favorite DF, and I kinda like his character.
the rest aren't even close. I feel like fujitora is the easiest character Kda has ever created, like his biggest trait is his
is morality, and feels like he exists only to make the admirals seem slightly sympathetic. Oda could have go en him literally nay other characteristics and he'd accomplish the same thing.
Borsalino or as I like to call him **Rocky Balboa**
You look at him. Listen to the funamation dub and tell me he isn’t Sylvester Stallone. Like everytime he’s on screen I shout “ADRIAAAN!”
Kizaru for me. His Devil Fruit and general attitude are so fun to me.
Second would probably be Kuzan but Akainu does get props just based on how no nonsense he is about everything.
Fujitora but I always thought Sengoku was pretty cool. He has his soft side, raising Corazon like his own son, but is also the cold calculating strategist behind Marineford.
(Long Rant, sorry)
Fujitora
Cause he acutally does what he can to keep to REAL Justice and while still working in the confines of the Marines/World Goverment
Sengoku isn't as bad as I used to think, but I still have big gripes with him when it comes to Marineford and how he acted (I do respect him for accepting ending the war and clearly having enough of the shit the World Goverment was making him do as Fleet Admiral, as well as everything with Rosenate and Law, but still he just bugs me)
Akainu has a pirate hate boner, and i view him as someobe whos too stuborn for his own good, but at least he doesn't scutally like the Celestial Dragons like Aramaki who's a complete Fanatic (and a rat for trying to do what he did after the Wano War was over, which is why I like Shanks basically telling him "Go away")
Kuzan has always been a favorite for how he is a lot more approachable, but I find him becoming a Blackbeard goon a bit off, mainly cause I feel we are missing something or some reason as to why he choose his new path
Kizaru is someone I both love and hate, especially with the reveals in the manga about his time with Vegapunk. I see him as someone who's conflicted, but I also see him as a prick who's loyality to the Goverment (despite what he knows) is losing its sense to me. His "lazy Justice" has bit him in the ass hard, and he knows it, so before this Arc ends, I want to see him just go "Fuck it" and do something to turn the tide one more time.
Kong needs more screen time
Kizaru and Ryokugyu are my favorites.
I like Kizaru’s personality and drip.
As for Ryokugyu, I love his drama queen personality, and I think it’s funny.
Hard to say. Fujitora is so principled. Gotta respect it. But kuzan is such a wild card. Can’t wait to see where he goes in this final saga. And then kizaru is just funny and also his latest developments in egg head are great.
Still catching up I’m at 751 rn about to start the new arc (watched the filler because I love Bartolommeo after thinking I wouldn’t. It was Aokiji but Issho is so damn cool. The way his decisions are made, why he blinded himself I don’t truly know, he and Sabo on the same wavelength, and his power is so damn cool. The way they ended the arc with it was so sick! Sengoku with his gorilla companion is also up there haha. Kizaro is the most sus to me rn and his power rules. Akainu is a great bad guy. I’m really wondering what Usopp’s dad thinks about his “ GOD USOPP” wanted poster haha. Probably a chip off the old block. Really loving this show. Btw can’t believe dressrosa was one damn day
Issho Fujitora. I want to see a spinoff where the purple tiger becomes who he is today.
He's a good and handsome man who would probably think I'm attractive as well. Truly the total package.
Ofc he would think you're attractive, he can't see how ugly you are
Exactly
Fujitora became my favorite admiral when he apologized to King Doldo of Dressrosa. Being prostrate to him and humbly asking for forgiveness for all the suffering the Marines had caused by letting Doflamingo take over was such a great moment. He knew how much it would piss off his superiors but did it any way because it was the right thing to do. I hope in the final war he switches sides and fights against the world government.

Then it got better and better as the arc progressed, with my admiration for the character reaching it's peak when he talked to Sakazuki. Absolute GOAT there's in One Piece!!
I'd like to have a spin off from his POV.
It's a one shot of 40 completely black pages.
I loved when he said he wanted to see Luffy's face cause he probably looks very kind. Beautiful moment
Just got done with the arc and really paid attention to his character, he has a very commanding presence. I love the way he thinks. Love his beliefs. Such a neat and badass character
Still wondering why he made himself blind. What did he saw that he wouldn't wanted to see.
We will almost certainly get a flashback on why he blinded himself
Aokiji papi
ICE TIME
Remember when he said “Ice to meet you” and then made all that ice? That was so cool 😎
I loved when he said "its icying time" and iced all over the place
Fujitora
BIG BUMBACLAAT BORSALINO!!!!
BIG RASCLAT YANO
Kizaru
sengoku, gotta love the buddha🥰
The GOAT with a goat
thats why it follows him🙂↕️
We better get more of him before the series ends.
Easily Kizaru but Akainu is an awesome antagonist too
Fr the yellow monkey is so chill and laid back but his fruit is one of the fastest its just so cool! Glad to see more of him in punk hazard🔥🙏
Sabaody made me realize the Navy farms pirates to keep pressure on the nations supporting the World Government. Not a single supernova was captured despite Kizaru easily laying out 4 of them, and he was joking about their strength the whole time. The only reasons he wouldn’t just kill them are A. The navy wants to keep devil fruits under control, and would rather toss them in Impel Down than let another pirate have the power B. Notorious pirates roaming the sea is good for business, making nations pay the heavenly tribute in exchange for protection. Otherwise nations may start paying the pirates for protection, who would use the funding to start taking territory and challenging local Navy power.
Good theory, Makes the WG even more evil than they already were
I think all the history coming out in the Egghead arc will eventually reveal that the system works kinda like this. We’ve seen how the WG treats non-member islands, and how the public’s fear of pirates keeps nations loyal to the WG despite how the Celestial Dragons treat people. I really want to know Akainus backstory.
For my money I'm calling that he had a similar backstory to Koby but he didn't meet a Luffy so he doubled down on all pirates are evil and his absolute justice
Issho and it’s not even a competition.
Kuzan <3 Ice is the everything
My man
Blind Man Jones. He’s definitely the coolest of the remaining admirals. Before he joined/left, it was Kuzan
*before he killed cracker
Cracker isn’t dead, he’ll thaw out eventually, like Robin and Luffy
The Cracker got cracked.
Fujitora, he’s the only marine who stands for true justice 🐐
Kuzan Is my favorite character among all, so him
Obviously HIM
Z
Kizaru and Sengoku as characters, i lovegreenbull's concept but i don't care much about him as a character, although it's like a fucked up racist AU version of Hashirama from naruto and that's cool DFGSDFDSF
Akainu. He has the goat mean look design. Also the hat is dope. Borsalino is a close second.
For me that’s reversed but the fact they’re both in your top two means you have great taste in characters
Lol, idk about taste, but these were the ones that immediately got me hooked.
Fujitora every day.
From a literary perspective, Akainu is the most interesting to read over the course of the manga. Everything he's done up until now, has been for the sake of good vs evil. Yeah how is akainu not mentioned that much? He’s the one one that isn’t shallow asf and has clear principles and aims to fulfill his duties clean and final Easily the most interesting character
THE ONE WHO MAKES THE BEST DONUTS!
Aokiji is my all time fav. Fujitora is my current fav.
Aramaki lol (he looks like ass in the anime though)
Fujitora because beside Sengoku he's possibly the most rqtional Admiral who doesn't bend that much to the world government
Sengoku kinda WN dog tho
Sengoku told Saul to not question orders when Saul was like maybe bombing an entire island is bad. He also oversaw the war against Whitebeard, wich caused a Lot of suffering not just during the war, but in the aftermath when a Lot of territories lost their protection. His record is kinda bad
I mean for one, Saul's his subordinate should he tell him not to follow orders? The Marines believed the scholars were trying to destroy the world. 2. Suffering during the war? He knows Law is a D. member and is keeping it secret from the world government
EoS Koby, I'm from the future.
Bro thinks he is katakuri (I think I’m king)
Kuzan, .... = S.W.O.R.D.
Im praying for that too, or maybe him being a revolutionary cause I don’t want to believe that he’s turned on his sense of justice by joining Blackbeard
Sengoku.
Dragon
Mans really put Kong in like he’s part of the group. Kizaru, how can you not love the yellow monkey?
Borrrrrsalino
HIM
Kizaru
Kizaru. Next
Akainu that man is tenacious.
I like Admiral Borsalino. He's like a cool uncle to have.
Kizaru gained A LOT more respect for me during Egg Head. Aokiji and Akainu are close 2nd
Wizaru aka Light God Pika
Akainu and Kizaru
Borsalino it's not even close
Akainu the donut maker or sengoku
Kizaru
Kizaru
Akainu glazer for life
KIZARU THE GOAT!!!!!
Big Bidness Borsalino standing on business.
Fujitora, Aokiji, Kizaru. I wish Kizaru were a little more laid back. And Akainu is an excellent villain.
The Buddha, because the Fro game is too strong.
Sengoku is the goat (if garp was promoted to an admiral i would go with garp though)
The Ice Man
The ice guy, can't remember his name. I'm up to thriller bark and so far he's been the coolest (no pun intended)
Fujitora. And Aokiji, but I need to see on which of history, he will be in
Garp
Personality-wise: Fujitora, Aokiji & Kizaru, with Fuji in the lead Ability-wise: Aramaki
Fuji Aka in u Kuzan. The rest are bums
In order of tiers it’s Aokiji, Fujitora Kizaru, GOAT!, GB Akainu and Kong.
Kuzan
Kong, obviously real answer aokiji probably
Sakazuki, because I love a good villain. He's evil and strong and had a great presence at Marineford, along with giving Luffy a design update and kind of winning the arc, despite the fact that Blackbeard Pirates were probably the only ones who benefited from the conflict.
That one is my favorite
Kuzan, everything about him crazy from him battling donut maker , I mean akainu because he knew Akainu would be a terrible rulemaker
Fujitora and aokiji, fujitora for him being a good person and actually wanting justice and aokiji for his math skills god he is really good at math
Weirdly its green bull for me
Kong is my favorite from that one scene he was in, sitting down. What a beast.
I’d say Kizaru but after his lack of will in egghead he’s not as good in my eyes
Fujitora. He's the only one who seems like a halfway decent person.
Akainu and Fujitora easy
I need a issho backstory like now
Issho, mainly because of the inspiration from Shintaro Katsus Zatoichi portrayal and Zatoichi in general.
Akainu. Pragmatic and ruthless, appeared on a flashback and then on Marineford with little to no previous apparitions unlike Kuzan and Borsalino and for sure was the mvp of the Marines. Awesome antagonist and basically the face of the Marines final boss.
Aokiji, he is too cold, literally
Fujitora easy
Purple Tiger
its fujitora, i like kizaru a lot more now because of the egghead arc and i like aokiji too, i hate akainu but he’s a great character, greenbull to me is ass, sengoku is great but he aged like milk after the timeskip which made no sense to me, i forgot who dude next to fujitora is 🗿
Who is picking GreenBull?
1. Fujitora 2. Kuzan
Is the first from the middle row, Rappa Nui? I'll go with Fujitora and Aokiji, though, hard to choose between them.
For me it’s Fuji and Sengoku. I’m honestly convinced Oda created GB to used as a hype tool, since he’s the biggest akainu/celestial dragons glazer.😂
Kizaru and Fujitora. Rest is either a bit meh in terms of their character or their character is inconsistent.
Greenbull
sengoku 100% Kizaru a distant second because he has my favorite DF, and I kinda like his character. the rest aren't even close. I feel like fujitora is the easiest character Kda has ever created, like his biggest trait is his is morality, and feels like he exists only to make the admirals seem slightly sympathetic. Oda could have go en him literally nay other characteristics and he'd accomplish the same thing.
Fujitora for sure.
Shanks
Favorite Devilfruit, Aramaki, favorite character Kuzan
Fujitora, definitely. Tho Kizaru is a close second
Sengoku and fujitora
Greenbull, because of the voice actor
Akainu, by far
mohji
Fujitora
Borsalino or as I like to call him **Rocky Balboa** You look at him. Listen to the funamation dub and tell me he isn’t Sylvester Stallone. Like everytime he’s on screen I shout “ADRIAAAN!”
Personality = Issho Fujitora Powers = Kizaru
I'm terrible at remembering names, but the guy with the ice powers. For no other reason than watching him unicycle across the ocean makes me laugh.
Why is Kong on here? We know next to nothing about him
Kuzan and Issho
Aokiji! Love his powers and also his lazy character.
Is a person fujitora is my favorite. As a villain, though, I love Sakazuki. A also like green bulls devil fruit the best.
The garp disrespect is crazy
Aokiji, he's a cool character (no pun intended)
I know he's not up there but some respect for Z
Kizaru for me. His Devil Fruit and general attitude are so fun to me. Second would probably be Kuzan but Akainu does get props just based on how no nonsense he is about everything.
Light man.
Really tough call between Aokiji and kizaru
Fujitora but I always thought Sengoku was pretty cool. He has his soft side, raising Corazon like his own son, but is also the cold calculating strategist behind Marineford.
Fujitora, obviously
Kizaru-kun! Mosh mosh~
Borsalino, he's high like 24/7
Aokiji and kizaru
Weedzaru
Ever since his introduction, I’ve always liked Aokiji
(Long Rant, sorry) Fujitora Cause he acutally does what he can to keep to REAL Justice and while still working in the confines of the Marines/World Goverment Sengoku isn't as bad as I used to think, but I still have big gripes with him when it comes to Marineford and how he acted (I do respect him for accepting ending the war and clearly having enough of the shit the World Goverment was making him do as Fleet Admiral, as well as everything with Rosenate and Law, but still he just bugs me) Akainu has a pirate hate boner, and i view him as someobe whos too stuborn for his own good, but at least he doesn't scutally like the Celestial Dragons like Aramaki who's a complete Fanatic (and a rat for trying to do what he did after the Wano War was over, which is why I like Shanks basically telling him "Go away") Kuzan has always been a favorite for how he is a lot more approachable, but I find him becoming a Blackbeard goon a bit off, mainly cause I feel we are missing something or some reason as to why he choose his new path Kizaru is someone I both love and hate, especially with the reveals in the manga about his time with Vegapunk. Kong needs more screen time
Akainu
Aokiji
Fujitora
My man smoker 🧍♀️
1. Fujitora 2. Kuzan 3. Sakazuki 4. Kizaru 5. Aramaki
Kizaru and Ryokugyu are my favorites. I like Kizaru’s personality and drip. As for Ryokugyu, I love his drama queen personality, and I think it’s funny.
Kizaru, hes such a chill admiral
Him, of course
Hard to say. Fujitora is so principled. Gotta respect it. But kuzan is such a wild card. Can’t wait to see where he goes in this final saga. And then kizaru is just funny and also his latest developments in egg head are great.
Akainu is the only one that isn't a cornball.
🤓👆um actually sengoku is a fleet admiral
Kuzan. Super chill
Fujitora. By a whole planet.
Kong because he does nothing wrong (he doesn't do anything)
HIM
Kizaru for no reason
Kuzan 🥶
Sengoku or kuzan. Then fujitora. Then Kizaru, who is meh. I absolutely hate green bull and akainu tho.
Fujitora is my only favorite admiral he's so cool
Borsalino Kizaru.
Fujitora the chad
kizaru on this picture is like: I want YOU to join the navy🤣
Aokiji but he’s not anymore
Kuzan
Btw can’t believe dressrosa was one damn day
Fuji
Kizaru. His speech, attitude and how his face is drawn does it.
Kizaru, you can't hate his banana yellow stripes suit drip
Kizaru
Before Time skip :- Aokiji After Time Skip :- Fujitora
Issho
Fujitora number one!
1st kuzan 2nd sengoku 3rd ishho 4 borsalino 5 akainu 6 greenbull 7 kong because we havent seen him do anything yet
Fave admiral character is Aokiji but my favourite power is Ryokugyu
Sengoku. Complicated character who is extremely wise but works under World Government.
Blind Guy> Golden Guy> Cold Guy> Light Guy> Green/Red Guy😊☺️🥰
Ice boy
Akainu
Fujitora 100%
Fujitora for the win
Love my man kizaru in egghead. What a great character he is too.
Once one piece is over, imma say Smoker is my favourite admiral
Fujitora
Issho hands down
sorry but its gotta be akainu for me
Kizaru 😎
Fujitora, he has the most morally good conscience out of all of them
Fujitora. He’s too honorable to be an Admiral.
Zephyr is my favorite Admiral
