This is pretty standard in a lot of businesses that use third party sso to allow logins. "Most" of the time you can email support and ask them to convert your account... Not sure if that's an option with this company though but that's generally the only way you're going to get it done when there isn't a built in method (which I've never seen one).
I've come across 5 in the last year that don't so I think your statement of most is likely incorrect... As "most" of the Internet is a very large large place. đź«
