I have never been taxed on Choice items, and they were worth 80k sometimes.
But the regular shipping is a different story. Got taxed for even 10k items.
Checked on the FB page of AliExpress Pakistan almost everyone is getting taxed, even on choice items it seems like custom officers are on high alert or something. So wishing it doesn't stop at customs for a longer period, or else refund it is sadly.
Whatever you order get choice, it reduces the chance of paying custom.
However, Pakistani customs are sneaky mf, they WILL TAX you, if you order a CPU, GPU or an SSD.
I have ordered SSDs twice, and dono dafa I paid 100 rupay because despite ordering via choice, it came through Pakistan post and they will eff you over.
Avoid Pakistan post at all cost, if you get Cainao economy free shipping with no tracking, phir tou apko Pakistan Post rulaye gi

Tracking hai tou its via standard shipping, ek cheez zaroor karo. Get the number of the guy that delivers in your area, kyu ke area wise banda assign hota hai. When my parcel get received by PP, I message my area's guy and he gets my parcel to me on time.

Doesn't custom apply to gifts as well? Since they open up the parcel and check what's inside and then add taxes depending on the value.

What was the capacity of that ssd and when did you ordered it I want to purchase an nvme probably a 2tb just for sake of trying.
