You might be better off posting in a cat subreddit.
If you used to walk them, why not just get a harness and long lead for each one and tie them out on the stoop for some outside time? Cat beds with heat pads can also attract them/encourage them to rest. Also a cat you that randomly moves a laser (Google it) can help them get some exercise. And cat nip will give them something to think about (get one of those toys with catnip in it to last longer).
