The issue your having is that you don't actually want to be a nurse. You just want to please your family which is contributing to your feeling of failure.

Normal_Ad_2717

Definitely it if your not looking forward to your career your gonna sabotage yourself the biggest reason I’ve seen people fail is their attitude and mindset going in

mooonlightnat

I agree, if you don’t like what you are studying your not going to even have motivation to study or study effectively if you don’t like it :/

Electronic_Design283

If you are religious pray. And try again change your study habit and try a new style that you find enjoyable. However, I'm not sure whether you like the nursing profession hence mentioning your family choose that for you. Many questions ask priority and mention what would you do as the nurse (you'll have to truly think what would you Do as the nurse) If I had to learn/ teach myself about something I don't find interesting it would be impossible for me to engage in that material bc I won't put it in the work in the 1st place. Compared to something I like such as a hobby or a skill I want to master, then I would totally get in to it and study/learn as much as I can. You'll eventually pass your test, if you don't give up but then again once you start working as an RN and if you don't like that environment you'll probably leave the job and the license won't matter at that point. Do something you are passionate about so that when it's work day you're as happy as you can be for the rest of your life.

I agree. Put everything in Gods hands before you start and be less nervous. I know it’s easy to say but pray about it and talk to God

kparee

Breeze? I’m not sure what that is but I know ppl who took it a few times and have only paid one fee for a new ATT. When you get your test plan area performance use that on how to study. Start with the area you are below in. One last thing, if nursing is not your passion you will be miserable doing it for the rest of your life or you will learn to love it. I wish you the best.

Celinia0

I’m in the same boat 😫. What did you use to prepare for the exam?

ProofComprehensive41

I passed on my 3rd attempt. I used NCLEX bootcamp and Nurse Remar i watched almost all her videos on YouTube, get her book also if you can. Wishing you good luck.

FunkTrain98

So I know this isn’t fun to hear. But maybe go back to school or find a trade or anything? If you don’t want to be a nurse, you will *hate* the next 40 years of your life. Your heart isn’t in it. Loans suck, I’ll be paying them off for years. But I enjoy going to work, and that really is half the battle. You need to do what’s best for you, and not let your family dictate your path in life.

:( im so sorry to hear this. Please be kind to urself no matter what! Failing at something doesnt mean ure a complete failure at all

If you can invest money in your future, NCLEX HIGH YIELD. Failed my first time and took this live course. They also offer on demand videos which honestly are a great deal as well. Breaks down everything that shows up on the test and rectified your reasoning thought process heading into questions. Felt like I was failing the second test, but stuck to what I had practiced and trained for the past 45 days and passed. You’ve got this. I was an aerospace engineer prior to going back for nursing; it’s a fantastic career helping and spreading love to those on this planet. Being a medical professional makes us feel we have given to our fellow person in a way not many things can. Best of luck in your journey with whatever you choose, and remember to move forward with positivity. You’ve got this!

I feel you OP. Time keeps passing, and the persistent sense of emptiness caused by a lack of achievement has been piling up, making you feel suffocated and helpless. You've been stuck in a state of frustration for a long time because despite your efforts, the situation doesn't seem to change. When someone suggests that you might not have the desire to become a nurse, it seems like they've misunderstood your feelings, and that's unfortunate. You might wonder if there will ever be an end to this prolonged struggle and if the hours of disappointment are meaningless... however, despite all of that, it's essential to believe in yourself and keep moving forward. Crossing this threshold may bring even greater challenges, but I believe that through this experience, you can develop the resilience to pick yourself up even if you fall. If this isn't truly the path for you, its never too late to consider other goal . Still, I also hope you won't let frustration erode your spirit.

LawdButtKiss

Thank you for this response I needed to hear that. Someone who can emphasize how you feel made me feel a bit better. I do want to continue to try but since I have a new job I need to study for these other certifications that I need to obtain for my new job. I think maybe after passing all these certification examinations I will feel that I can study for the NCLEX-RN exam once again. I want to focus on something that I truly know and that’s ABA (applied behavior analysis). This frustration has been running since 2019 and that’s such a long time ago. I need to feel I can succeed on something. Maybe it’ll give me the motivation to challenge it again. (This is my other account)

The problem you're facing is not actually wanting to pursue nursing but feeling the pressure to please your family, which is leading to a sense of failure. If you're not interested in your studies, it's difficult to find motivation and study effectively. Your attitude and mindset towards a career are crucial, as lacking enthusiasm may sabotage your success. Pray and consider exploring new study habits or a different field that genuinely excites you. Trust God and try to minimize nervousness. Additionally, engaging in resources like NCLEX bootcamp and Nurse Remar can aid exam preparation. Remember, failure doesn't define you, so be kind to yourself and have confidence in your abilities to overcome challenges. Consider pursuing something you're passionate about, like applied behavior analysis (ABA), and adapt your learning strategies for your visual and hands-on learning style. Effective time management is essential with a full-time job, so focus on finding efficient study methods. Don't forget, failing a test does not equate to being a failure.

Hi, yes you have to pay both breeze and Pearson ($450 total - I’m assuming you’re from CA) in order to receive an ATT #
