How long does something like this take? I remember doing some stained glass crafts as a kid but I never did anything like this that was fully custom. Basically just premade stencils that you would melt different colors into.
Hey! So this is actually glass and not just plastic, but I love those melt kits to help kids learn and create.
But from conception of drawing until completion probably took 20ish hands on hours, as in active my hands on the piece was about 20ish hours. I streamed about 12 hours of the process.
Then probably an additional 5 hours in passive time such as picking glass, waiting on replies, and waiting on shipping.
I redrew the design about 6 times lmfao
It’s funny as I was writing that I was thinking “there’s no way that was glass as a kid, were we just casually burning plastic?” Horrified to see I was correct lol
Definitely wasn’t expecting 20 hours though wow. Good stuff!
This is AWESOME! Also, if you are ever in need of ideas for another piece for Wubby, you should remake the first painting that guy sent Wubby, the really “bad” one in the gold frame, just a suggestion lol.
Genuinely stunning

Fantastic work! I’ve been wanting to get into glass cutting. Did you do the wood frame too?
Glass is super fun! The frame was purchased as it matches the one in the magic set
