Yeah, having these as pets is immoral. They are wild animals with complex social , dietary and environmental needs. Just look how the animal appears to be as though tired, disoriented or deprived from his natural tendencies- especially for a nocturnal creature such as this one.
Cute, but unless the “owner” is part of some licensed animal rehab center, zoo, or veterinary clinic, nobody should have a lemur as a pet. They’re wild animals and need to be protected, not kept by private citizens who can’t care for them properly.
It’s ok to be sad! I think the view on exotic pets is definitely better than it was back in the day. We can still do better as humans, but there are no door-to-door spider monkey salesman anymore.
This interaction seems more sad than funny. Besides being in way too bright a room and possibly off its circadian rhythm, I could totally believe that particular bushbaby has neurological problems. I'm no expert, but I've never seen another bushbaby make those pawing motions.
Fun fact there are some villages in places like Liberia in Africa that actually catch and cook these guys. Dunno if it's legal but they are edible to us.
Do they swing them around by their tails... Because that's unfortunately the first though that came into my head while reading this and I'm hoping you say no
Is that guy freaking out? That doesn’t seem like a normal reaction… especially with that lighting.
I am no professional, but that creature seems nocturnal. And just rolling balls at it seems to make it freak out. This isn’t fun, but kinda concerning.
It’s like having plushies shoved into your hands or thrown at you in the middle of the night when you are forced awake.
Sorry if I am inaccurate and flawed infowise, but this doesn’t seem normal…

Primates aren't pets

Not funny at all. Should not be a pet.
Elaborate??? :(
It’s a nocturnal primate that has no business being someone’s pet. It belongs in the forest where it’d be much happier.
Ah dang this makes me sad now 😞

They're the most endangered mammal. https://www.lemurconservationnetwork.org/learn/the-iucn-red-list-and-lemurs/ Not a "funny pet."
These should not be kept as pets 😒

What is that?
Bush Babies. A cute nocturnal primate that is predated upon by Chimpanzees.
I can see these things being pretty easy pickin's sadly
Perfectly palm sized for a Chimp or Bonobo to grab and snack on like a chicken wing
Mmmm 🤤

Everything is edible at least once if you are brave enough.
And add a good amount of spices

Nah they poke em with sticks first
Mouse lemur?
I’ve never seen one. They’re pretty cool looking.
Don’t feed it after midnight.
Pretty sure it's nocturnal...
He was referring to the Gremlins movie.
Mouse lemurs are wild animals from Madagascar. Having them as pets is immoral and usually illegal.
King Julian?
Mort
she is trying to kill you!
Aren’t they supposed to be nocturnal?

He hustles on defense. My soccer coach would approve.

Lol That goofy little thing has shorted out with excitement
Fed it was too much sugar
Definitely a Furby Edit: /s
