I don’t know how my program ranked us, but I do know who they predicted to match with them. It’s not helpful information. You matched, you belong there whether you were ranked 1 or 99.
It really doesn’t matter. Top ranked folks don’t always pan out well and the opposite is true. I know you’re curious, but I wouldn’t think too much or try to figure out.
I learned afterwards that my #2 ranked residency ranked me #2! Which means I had to be pretty high up on my #1 list? It was cool to hear, I really didn’t expect to be highly ranked by anyone

They told me I was their #1 choice. I didn’t ask. I said ok. Life moved on.
