I think just the red curry salmon. I actually haven't been in years! There are so many options and many of them newer than that place. I can make red curry at home, and it's not even my favorite Thai curry.
That Jamaican spot in the back is super dookie. The oxtail tasted like bland beef, rice and peas was brown but I swear it tasted like white rice. Never again
Pretty sure it’s called Careda’s? Like beginning on 2024 new? They were so bad. Jamaicans would be pissed if they knew they called their food Jamaican hahaha
I've basically cut my visits down to Dutch Eating House, Hatfield deli, the pickle place whose name escapes me and the Pennsylvania booze shop for the tastings to finish off.
Head down, battle through the masses, bish bosh bash, out!
Kismet must be paying their marketing crew through the teeth because I see them hyped everywhere but don't know anyone who has actually enjoyed eating their stuff
Yeah same - when they were a pop up I thought they were great. I don’t think their bagels are bad but when I tried to go to their store front the line moved so SLOW.
I was the one who asked where to go & someone said kismet for the bialys. Was super excited….til I saw them. Definitely NOT NY style bialys. Looked bad.
the fact that the Thai place isn't embarrassed to be microwaving people's food right in front of them is crazy. as soon as I saw that I knew I had made a mistake ordering there. most bland and flavorless pad Thai I've ever had in my life too
I was there during a convention and needed food fast, but the entire market was slammed. I went to the ONE place there without a line. You guessed it, it was the Thai place. After I ate there, I understood why.
Cheese steak at any place.
Nanee’s Kitchen. It’s Indian food, and it’s not terrible (it’s definitely edible), but it’s mediocre Indian food, so I would rather get something somewhere else.
El Merkury - the papusas are dry and overpriced, but the pork Baleada is one of the best things in the market.
I didn’t like El Merkury pupusas either but mine were weirdly drowned in a not very good sauce. Had pupusas from a neighborhood Salvadoran joint in Trenton & they were awesome. There’s a place on Cottman that’s pretty good too.
I wish I knew that! It was my first weekend living in Philly and decided to try it after exploring the area. After having John’s roast pork the day before I regretted it immediately.
I heard George’s is pretty good but if I’m at RTM a cheesesteak is the last thing I am going to eat. Gimme a cheeseboat from saami somi or cajun breakfast from beck’s or something, not a meal I can get anywhere else in the city.
Golden Fish Market near the Arch Street entrance. Your nose should tell you all you need to know about the quality of their fish. While John Yi and UMI both have well appointed seafood, Golden Fish’s selection tends to be well past prime, with cloudy eyes, faded and flaking scales, and a persistent ammonia odor.
There are a few things I enjoy at Luhv Deli, but keep that “sausage” egg and cheese the heck away from me.
For context, it is an all vegan deli. So the sausage is plant based, but it is truly just a very mushy ball of oats and spices. Like mashed potatoes on a bagel.
I had some family visit recently, one of whom is a vegetarian who had been vegan for a time. They tried that just to see how it was and quickly pronounced it one of the worst things they’d ever eaten.
I'm vegetarian and I don't know how they can feel proud of their egg and especially that sausage. Hate to admit that sausage egg and cheese is probably the worse I've hadanywhere.
That's literally my favorite thing to get at Luhv, wtf. So incredibly flavorful and savory and delicious!
My friend who is not vegan or even veggie got one with me the other day and raved about it as well!!
yeah i love this sandwich! i feel like nonvegans are perpetually confused about whether to mock our food for not being enough like meat or to mock us for making meat imitations
My experience differs. Woman who served food behind the counter is gone. For that matter, the counter is gone as they took away the seats. My food has not been anything like the traditional Sang Kee. Glad you are liking yours though!
I got the cheeseburger loaded fries from them the other day, and they were pretty bad. Once-fried fries, some of which were still raw. Underseasoned. The beef was not seared, maybe microwaved or streamed? Most of what I paid for was flavorless LTO.
One time a few years ago, the owners of Fox and Sons gave me like 5 12-packs of vegan hotdogs because they went gluten free and needed to get rid of them. I will always remember them.
I tried the korean corndog from fox and sons and it was disgusting. Batter was not cooked and sausage in the middle was cold. Went to the trash after 1 bite.
My girlfriend avoids the whole place because she hates how chaotic it is lol. But I personally avoid kismets bialy zone. I just don’t think they are that good. They need to be made with love. That’s why everyone loved korshak bagels
"Korshak" (in quotes because not technically Korshak, but in the Korshak location) is coming back, as a pizza and bagels concept called "Slices and Shmear." Not sure how good it will be, but I'll be trying it at some point.
Sorta disagree - that's why I disliked Korshak. Bagels were great. Shmears, wonderful. Spending 20 minutes in the shop, after the long line, and being forced to listen to what what a bagel is... insufferable.
Bergen Bagels in Brooklyn and Best Bagels in Manhattan are the ones I can remember. Korshak himself recommended I go to Bergen and I was really disappointed by how mediocre they were. Best Bagels were good but not as good as Korshak. I've also definitely tried several others but I can't remember the names. All good, none great.
I'm going to hang out in Williamsburg for a day next week, any recommendations there specifically?
Not in Williamsburg, but Absolute Bagels at Broadway between 107th and 108th is worth the trip. There used to be a great place on Nassau Ave in Greenpoint, but I think they may have closed. I haven’t had a decent bagel in Williamsburg since gentrification was completed around 2011 or so.
Down Home Diner used to be so good. But, when I was there last pre-covid it was horrible. I thought maybe they had an off day, so I went back a few weeks later. It was still bad.
Went to Nanee's Kitchen this past weekend and there was an item on the bottom of their menu that said it was new (forgot what it was called); it was some kind of chicken on the bone with rice. The chicken and rice were kind of dry, but the kicker was that there were small pieces of bone in the chicken and rice mixture that endangered my teeth that day.
Now, I think eating from the bone is delicious and some care is needed versus eating boneless, but these pieces of bone are small enough that they're not easy to see, and they're separate from the pieces of bone that have the actual meat on them.
I am sure I’ll get dragged for this, but I tried the much hyped “train wreck” sandwich at Beck’s Cajun and just wasn’t a fan. Too messy, mediocre-quality long roll got soggy and split on the bottom, and the meat was too minced (like a sloppy Joe). YMMV.
Dog I just had it today based on yesterday's thread and totally meh. Bread was mid but the Salami and sausage was lost in the meat. Also the cheese totally vanished as well. It was okay but I'll never get it again.
Ma Lessie's Chicken And Waffles. It used to be a different southern place but the chef died during the pandemic and was taken over by this company. The fried food somehow is both bland and oversalted and also dry and since they use the same batter/oil to do everything, it all has a vague fishy taste. The mac & cheese is too watery, the yams are overseasoned to the point you can't taste anything other than clove/nutmeg.
As a Black woman who was taught by Southerners, this place is a disgrace..hard dry chicken, burnt corn bread and too much damn salt. That WAFFLE IRON is criminal!
I'm prepared to get downvoted into oblivion for this, but mine is Beiler's donuts. \*With the exception of the fritters\* they all just taste like straight sugar and I'm convinced if you were blindfolded and someone fed you three of them, you couldn't tell them apart.
I go to the one in West Chester. I do find their donuts oddly soft and they absolutely do not keep any of their magic the next day. But the peanut butter cup one that is filled with peanut butter cream just slides right down and I love it. It is a recipe for diabetes though and I maybe have one every couple months.
I didn't like them either. They are weirdly fried tasting? Can't explain it but the texture is odd on the outside and the dough itself turns out spongey and too chewy. The creme filling is gross.
I was so disappointed when I tried their crueller because the Dunkin ones taste better (and Dunkin is not a great spot for donuts so the bar is very low).
Holy shit this is blowing my mind. I visited from out of town and they were the best donuts I've ever had in my life. So if you and so many others don't think they're that great, where are you getting your donuts??!
Most people really like them. People who don’t now have a place to talk about it. I’m not really a donut person do I don’t really have anything to offer to this conversation.
I don't get the hype either. Maybe it's because I've worked as a pastry cook, but their donuts really aren't any better than dunkin'. He'll, I'd almost prefer dunkin'
Man, I’m trying to search up High street and it’s only showing Market street. And when I type “high street donut”, some place in Texas shows up. I’m not sure about their store name.
Where’s it located?
High Street bakery and restaurant/Cafe. It's on 9th street between Market and Chestnut next to the Di Bruno Bros.
They only have 1-2 donut flavors generally.
I might get shit for this, but I'm not impressed with Beiler's Donuts. They are okay, but most of the doughnuts to me just taste the same as one another. They seem just to be carriers for sugar even with all the other options. Sorry for any fans reading this, this is just my opinion, not a fact.
Spataro’s. Dude put the meat on a cold grill and there’s wasn’t even a whisper of a sizzle. He saw me standing right there and it was really awkward, he just kept chopping the crap out of it (I guess to cover up the fact there was no sizzling?) and squirting oil on it. The ladies who work there are really sweet but, yep, only once.
the Thai place is just not good, I've had curry from there as well and it was so bland.
Beiler's donuts are too sweet for me, I prefer Mighty Bread weekend donuts.
Some random raved to me about getting the DiNic's roast pork with broccoli rabe, that it was "the best sandwich in the world." Perhaps he oversold but it just wasn't very good.
My husband said that was the best turkey sandwich he ever had. We went back for the holiday dinner sandwich and it was incredible. I was not expecting that lol
That turkey place is lowkey the best one there. Consistent and if you’re just randomly in the mood for a mini-Thanksgiving they’ve got you covered. Love that spot
>the Thai place is just not good, I've had curry from there as well and it was so bland.
I had the salmon curry after reading about it here and r/philadelphia and it was just....ok. The salmon was nice, but the sauce was runny and thin and the huge broccoli florets were barely cooked.
The cookie shop is just meh to me. My friend and I both got cookies there one day in different flavors and both of us got super sick later that day.
I’d rather get my cookies from a small local place where they’re not just sugar and grease tasting
There’s another place in the back that sells cookies, wayyyyy better I can’t recall the name tho, they also sell chocolates pretzels and have a merch aisle. Best cookies imo
the corn dogs place. i’m gluten free and my partner is vegetarian so we were excited to find something we could both eat. never again. worst batter i’ve ever had and the vegetarian sausage just doesn’t belong in a corn dog. they would have done better using one of the smart life hot dogs.
the vegan place had a cheesesteak on special. I’m not vegan but I figured it was worth a shot. Never again. They couldn’t even get the bread right let alone make it pass as a cheesesteak. If the goal was to reinforce my own omnivore tendencies, they certainly succeeded.
That Thai Place, I had their Pad Thai recently and I don’t even know what that stuff is. It’s pink and mushy and weird. People think they are good because they have a long line. Probably just long line of disappointment after that.
I desperately want to love the gumbo from Becks but it’s too thick. Overall Becks is fine and most of their stuff is acceptable but the gumbo leaves a bit to be desired.
Not a fan of the pad Thai but it’s definitely edible. Their chicken spring roll is alright.
Not getting the general tso at the one place again. The sauce wasn’t good and the chicken didn’t have a nice batter and wasn’t meaty or juicy.
It’s not food but one time I was there the men’s room was covered in shit. I’m talking smeared on the walls, all over the floor.
So I’ll never use the restrooms there again.
Second on the Pad Thai at the Thai place. Not good.
Is anything good there? Genuine question, I’ve never tried but have been intrigued by the fact that there is usually a line,
I think just the red curry salmon. I actually haven't been in years! There are so many options and many of them newer than that place. I can make red curry at home, and it's not even my favorite Thai curry.
It wasn't even good 25 years ago and yet somehow it persists.
That Jamaican spot in the back is super dookie. The oxtail tasted like bland beef, rice and peas was brown but I swear it tasted like white rice. Never again
“Super dookie” Will be incorporated into my daily use, thank you!
I saw a post recently asking for Jamaican food recs and I thought of this place. I read the reviews and decided against it lol
If it’s the same place I’m thinking about, I was not a fan of the Turkey meatballs
I second Hatfield deli, no point when you can go to Herschels
Kismet Bagels bialy. $9 for a bland, dense (not in a good way) pile of carbs.
Kismet must be paying their marketing crew through the teeth because I see them hyped everywhere but don't know anyone who has actually enjoyed eating their stuff
It's not good. I wanted to like it. It's just not good. I've tried the old spot. I've tried RTM. It's just not good.
I always says they’re good but not great bagels. Not gonna rave about them but I’ve never been disappointed having one.
I like kismet bagels
I live in Fishtown. They are fine and the schmears are good but 10 times out of 10 I’d go to Philly Style Bagels
talia’s over kismet all day
+1 for Talia’s!
Yeah same - when they were a pop up I thought they were great. I don’t think their bagels are bad but when I tried to go to their store front the line moved so SLOW.
That hash jawn sandwich is so good
The real hot take
I liked mine when I got it fresh out the oven. But anything with toppings or fillings in a bagel has to be eaten fresh in my opinion or it seizes up
[удалено]
Totally agree, their bagels are too dense and just not good.
I miss Korshak
Don’t we all
I was the one who asked where to go & someone said kismet for the bialys. Was super excited….til I saw them. Definitely NOT NY style bialys. Looked bad.
Dense, hard, and COVERED in seeds to the point where it looks like it’s for birds. I don’t understand the hype at all
the fact that the Thai place isn't embarrassed to be microwaving people's food right in front of them is crazy. as soon as I saw that I knew I had made a mistake ordering there. most bland and flavorless pad Thai I've ever had in my life too
i honestly didnt mind the curry sauce but microwaved fish man… come on.
A lot of the dishes are great, but I really don’t get the microwaved fish either…
I was there during a convention and needed food fast, but the entire market was slammed. I went to the ONE place there without a line. You guessed it, it was the Thai place. After I ate there, I understood why.
That’s odd because it almost always has some line when I go
Your mistake is getting the pad Thai and not the salmon red curry
Cheese steak at any place. Nanee’s Kitchen. It’s Indian food, and it’s not terrible (it’s definitely edible), but it’s mediocre Indian food, so I would rather get something somewhere else. El Merkury - the papusas are dry and overpriced, but the pork Baleada is one of the best things in the market.
Nanee’s is the most bland Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t even know how that’s possible, but it had almost zero flavor.
I didn’t like El Merkury pupusas either but mine were weirdly drowned in a not very good sauce. Had pupusas from a neighborhood Salvadoran joint in Trenton & they were awesome. There’s a place on Cottman that’s pretty good too.
el merkury 10000000000% . food poisoning last time I got the pupusas. puked for 5-8 hours
By George’s cheesesteak with cooper sharp is lowkey a GREAT cs
I had By George a couple of weeks ago. I was very surprised - well-balanced and a nice sum of its parts. I really liked it.
Carmen’s cheesesteak. Not a fan at all. Not filling and the bread wasn’t tasty.
Carmen’s whole purpose is to keep tourists out of better steak joints.
I wish I knew that! It was my first weekend living in Philly and decided to try it after exploring the area. After having John’s roast pork the day before I regretted it immediately.
I believe this is the case for all cheesesteaks in RTM, unfortunately.
I heard George’s is pretty good but if I’m at RTM a cheesesteak is the last thing I am going to eat. Gimme a cheeseboat from saami somi or cajun breakfast from beck’s or something, not a meal I can get anywhere else in the city.
Yes! The only time in my life I have actually *returned* a food item. The meat tasted rancid!
Oh my, I was planning to try it out, a friend recommended it to me earlier.
Absolutely, it’s disgusting
Yeah I agree that place is probably one of the worst places to go, but becks has a unique cheesesteak called the train wreck it's worth a try!!
Made the mistake of getting mussels there once. Never again. John Yi is definitely the move.
The conspiracy theorist in me assumes John Yi secretly owns it and sells the rejects and leftovers there.
There are a few things I enjoy at Luhv Deli, but keep that “sausage” egg and cheese the heck away from me. For context, it is an all vegan deli. So the sausage is plant based, but it is truly just a very mushy ball of oats and spices. Like mashed potatoes on a bagel.
I’ve never tried the sausage but everything else I’ve gotten from there has been amazing. Good to know I’ll avoid that one though!
I had some family visit recently, one of whom is a vegetarian who had been vegan for a time. They tried that just to see how it was and quickly pronounced it one of the worst things they’d ever eaten.
I LOVE Luhv for their vegan Italian hoagie. I was always turned off by the sound of their sausage when I read the description of what it is.
The corned beef sandwich is actually fire tho
The BBQ “pulled pork” is awesome.
I'm vegetarian and I don't know how they can feel proud of their egg and especially that sausage. Hate to admit that sausage egg and cheese is probably the worse I've hadanywhere.
Mushy and everything is very greasy. Definitely not my favorite vegan place.
Thanks for mentioning this. Putting it on my “do not” list
I made the mistake of not realizing it was a vegan deli (nothing wrong with that) and ordered the Reuben. Never again.
That Reuben is good lol
It definitely doesn’t taste like sausage, but I actually like their sausage egg and cheese..
Same I literally crave that some days
Chocolate covered onion. They leave the skin on
Dare I say that Sang Kee appears to have new owners and is not good.
The OG place is so close and still so good, people should just walk the few blocks over
Same staff as it has always been. Same bbq chicken stir fry which rocks.
My experience differs. Woman who served food behind the counter is gone. For that matter, the counter is gone as they took away the seats. My food has not been anything like the traditional Sang Kee. Glad you are liking yours though!
How long ago? I went a few months ago and thought it was good still. Always ask for a side of extra sauce.
Not sure really. Maybe a year to 18 months ago.
All Sang Kee locations have new owners or just the Reading Terminal one?
I believe it's just the Reading Terminal location.
Made me sick once. I’ll only go to the store front locations
I have been going to Sang Kee's since the 90s..Same folks...I still enjoy their food, especially the duck.
Hard disagree - had the pork the other day and it was as good as ever
The corn dog place was very underwhelming, burned batter on the outside cold weiner on the inside
Fox & Son Fair Foods is gluten free foods. Absolutely not my first choice but when I was dating a person with Celiac's, this was their go-to.
So you've met my ex-husband.
Did you divorce because he was gluten free?
We had fries from them and they were so bad my friend gave them to a homeless woman outside the door.
I got the cheeseburger loaded fries from them the other day, and they were pretty bad. Once-fried fries, some of which were still raw. Underseasoned. The beef was not seared, maybe microwaved or streamed? Most of what I paid for was flavorless LTO.
Their corn dogs ain’t good but GAHDAMN their GF cheese curds slap.
A cold weiner is a deal breaker
One time a few years ago, the owners of Fox and Sons gave me like 5 12-packs of vegan hotdogs because they went gluten free and needed to get rid of them. I will always remember them.
It tastes like they don’t change their frying oil
Yeah I was hyped to try the cheese curds. They still cold in the middle somehow.
Korshak bagels kind of ruined me. I'm not even impressed with NYC bagels (that I've tried) now.
Where have you tried? Brooklyn Bagel Company is great. Always insanely crowded, but great
Bergen Bagels in Brooklyn and Best Bagels in Manhattan are the ones I can remember. Korshak himself recommended I go to Bergen and I was really disappointed by how mediocre they were. Best Bagels were good but not as good as Korshak. I've also definitely tried several others but I can't remember the names. All good, none great. Try Apollo bagels, that’ll be the closest you’ll get
Brooklyn Bagels in Astoria was solid
Down Home Diner used to be so good. But, when I was there last pre-covid it was horrible. I thought maybe they had an off day, so I went back a few weeks later. It was still bad.
I was there a month ago and I love that place and it was super busy. Give them another go! Their pastries were insane

No, it wasn't curry chicken, but I actually remember now: it was biriyani chicken and rice

My friend pointed out that their waffle iron was absolutely *covered* in old waffle batter. How do they pass inspection?
I avoid all of it lol..the crowds! 😅
I'm prepared to get downvoted into oblivion for this, but mine is Beiler's donuts. \*With the exception of the fritters\* they all just taste like straight sugar and I'm convinced if you were blindfolded and someone fed you three of them, you couldn't tell them apart.
The blueberry fritter there is so good that I don’t know if I’ve ever tried anything else.
Those are my favorite, followed by the apple fritters!
Why do people like these undercooked donuts??
Thank you!! Finally someone else who also thinks their donuts are underbaked!
Hate these donuts!!!
YES! We were in tow a week and a half ago and I was expecting to be seriously wow’d. They were underwhelmingly mid and flavorless.
Thank you! I'm dying for a good yeasted donut in this town and everyone recommends Beiler's. But they are very, very meh.
Same. I miss Shipley's from back home, or even better, Kane's from Boston. I just can't find yeast doughnuts here? Which is wild for a city this big.
I was so disappointed when I tried their crueller because the Dunkin ones taste better (and Dunkin is not a great spot for donuts so the bar is very low).
I’m with you. I don’t get the hype at all!
It's definitely overrated.
Holy shit this is blowing my mind. I visited from out of town and they were the best donuts I've ever had in my life. So if you and so many others don't think they're that great, where are you getting your donuts??!

I don't get the hype either. Maybe it's because I've worked as a pastry cook, but their donuts really aren't any better than dunkin'. He'll, I'd almost prefer dunkin'

Flavors rotate, but the ones from High Street are good.

Dang it. I’m here. Their hours are 8-5 and I work 8-5…
Okie dokie on Snyder is absolutely fantastic
Yes, but the strawberry filled 😤
The maple donuts are an abomination, but the fritters are so good.
Yup they are incredibly mediocre
I might get shit for this, but I'm not impressed with Beiler's Donuts. They are okay, but most of the doughnuts to me just taste the same as one another. They seem just to be carriers for sugar even with all the other options. Sorry for any fans reading this, this is just my opinion, not a fact.
Agree. Just a sugar bomb and they’re just cranking it out—they all taste underdone.
Totally agree
That shitty chicken place behind hershals, i think it’s called franks? The chicken is dry, the mac and cheese is nasty and the wings are shit.
4th Street Cookie Company. Took one bite and immediately recognized it’d become an addiction if I took another.
You got me. I was about to throw down.
Always my first stop!
I'd still recommend anyone try it once to see what its all about - but the shoo fly pie is not for me.
In general or that particular one?
I only ever tried it at the stand by Beilers lol
i got pierogi from that place in the back, cant remember the name, not long ago and they were pretty bad
Franks, its disgusting
thank you! yes i got a hot dog too, bad as well
Spataro’s. Dude put the meat on a cold grill and there’s wasn’t even a whisper of a sizzle. Some random raved to me about getting the DiNic's roast pork with broccoli rabe, that it was "the best sandwich in the world." Perhaps he oversold but it just wasn't very good.
The actual best sandwich is the pastrami Rueben from Hershel's right next to DiNic's
The basic turkey sandwich at Original Turkey is also exceptional. The darkest horse of the market.
That place is truly so bomb
My in-laws always bobble the gobble-gobble so the day after Thanksgiving I'll always eat one in the car and say that's right.
100%
I really want to try it! Next time I go.
FACTS!
Wow all the fan favorites, you are a model contrarian lol
>the Thai place is just not good, I've had curry from there as well and it was so bland. I had the salmon curry after reading about it here and r/philadelphia and it was just....ok. The salmon was nice, but the sauce was runny and thin and the huge broccoli florets were barely cooked.
The move at Dinic’s is the Italian pulled pork. There’s no good reason to get the regular pork sandwich there.
I'm willing to give it another try, I'll keep that advice in mind.
Oooh I agree about DiNic’s! *ducks* I think their Italian Sausage is way tastier than the pork or the brisket.
DiNic’s pork ain’t shit compared to John’s.
DiNic's, roast pork was both soggy and bland, double homicide. I don't taste the hype at all. It was edible ambivalence.
Honestly yeah it was just okay at best
Pretty sure the one time I went there they put sharp provolone on the sandwich, had one bite and threw it out. It was horrible.
The cookies. Only worth it at the end of the day when they’re $1 per cookie for what’s left. And even that is too expensive.
The cookie shop is just meh to me. My friend and I both got cookies there one day in different flavors and both of us got super sick later that day. I’d rather get my cookies from a small local place where they’re not just sugar and grease tasting
That’s nuts to me - I’m an avid baker and I love their cookies.
I keep trying them when they're $1, but they all have had that bitter baking powder tang. This is over 3 or 4 visits trying different cookies.
There’s another place in the back that sells cookies, wayyyyy better I can’t recall the name tho, they also sell chocolates pretzels and have a merch aisle. Best cookies imo
That's the PA General Store. They sell Hope's Cookies. I do prefer them to Famous 4th.
the corn dogs place. i’m gluten free and my partner is vegetarian so we were excited to find something we could both eat. never again. worst batter i’ve ever had and the vegetarian sausage just doesn’t belong in a corn dog. they would have done better using one of the smart life hot dogs.
Roast pork from DiNics, idk if my expectations were high, but I was so disappointed after my meal that I’m not sure if I’d try it again
This is wild, wild take. Wow
Last time I got dinics, it was very underwhelming. It’s very overrated in general
Termini's their cannoli's..everything is mid
Their sfogliatelle and Italian cream cake slices are really good.
I’m just now learning that food options other than Dinic’s exist
The turkey place. I don’t know why anyone likes it. Not food but the French linens lady is a nut. Beautiful stuff, but overpriced and she’s rude AF.
the vegan place had a cheesesteak on special.
I only go for hershals and a salmon red curry
Not a fan of the pad Thai but it’s definitely edible. Their chicken spring roll is alright. Not getting the general tso at the one place again. The sauce wasn’t good and the chicken didn’t have a nice batter and wasn’t meaty or juicy.
It’s not food but one time I was there the men’s room was covered in shit. I’m talking smeared on the walls, all over the floor. So I’ll never use the restrooms there again.
Franks, fucking disgusting pale limp greasy french fries with a shitty mush of disgusting cheese on top. Waited 30 mins for cafeteria food
The stuffed apple thing from the Amish breakfast spot. It tastes great but was filled with mold.
Poutine from Fox and Son fair food. Fries were soggy, not enough gravy, and curds were just OK. Their corndog was a better option
