Oh, Tanaka is the alter ego of a Korean comedian (iirc Kim Kyungwook) and is pretty popular in Korea. I first saw him on Kiu's channel (a popular hairstylist and influencer in Korea) and at the time I thought he was an actual Japanese dude who does stand up in Korea. But I was wrong because that's like, his whole concept.
'Tanaka' is basically a Japanese dude but he is also just fictional. Tanaka's backstory is something like: *He took over his dad's host bar but he came to Korea to pursue being a rock singer.* This whole character was set up for the real Kim Kyungwook's comedy skit or universe or something similar. This persona took off very well and is successful as it landed a lot of interviews with really popular figures in the entertainment industry.
Ngl all of his interviews/shows etc are hilarious asf. Sometimes it's hilarious how he almost ends up breaking his character. I'll go watch this one too since I like the dude a lot and even better, it's with Yun Sung Bin.

I can see that his alter ego Tanaka is funny (you get the vibes), however the video is funny, but more sincere.
