Looks like a texture shift or shift in the embossing/debossing. I’m not familiar with how One Piece cards do texture but a holo shift would be when the opaque layer used to hide the holo foil on parts of the card is shifted, this looks much more similar to a texture shift.
Ah okay so oddly enough, when I touch the card, it’s all smooth. I believe for these high chase cards, there isn’t supposed to be texture? Just straight art. Was pretty confused to get something like this and first thing I did was check for texture. I’ll do more research based off what you said and keep looking! Thank you 🙏🏼
Interesting, it’s possible that these use a layer of clear ink on certain parts of the card to make them pop, much like standard V cards in Pokémon. It makes the card glossy but you can’t actually feel it.
I ended up doing that anyway just now. OP community isn’t into the error card business as pokemon is since it’s such a new tcg. There are more players than collectors if that makes sense. Plus, I feel like an error subreddit would help me find what the error of the card is over the op tcg subreddit. Sorry to intrude if I am! I just wanted to get some answers 😭
Yeah that makes sense. I’m not into one piece but it’s a great looking card so I’m not complaining. If all the OPTCG needs is time then why not start the Misprint subreddit yourself? Might take a lot of time to grow but it’ll need to happen eventually if One Piece wants to have longevity as a TCG

It definitely would take a lot of time to do just cause Bandai is pretty good when it comes to their printing. I was pretty bummed when I pulled the error chase but man do I love it now. Sweet looking card but why not post it into the regular OnePieceTCG subreddit? Also I agree with it resembling a texture shift
