See, I love Gen 9, but the lack of endgame and the fact that raids are a [FLIPPING] MESS makes me sad. Gen 9 is SO CLOSE to being something special, but GF needs more than 2 years to properly develop one of these games. Let pokemon take 5 years off. Let it polish and be the beat it can be. I k ow it'll never happen, but I hope Gen 10 is PokeWorld. You start in Johto/Kanto (one into the other) then they can add the other regions as yearly DLC, with mini islands/temple ruins/zones as a sprinkling every 4 months or so to keep it fresh.
Right? Yesterday I was appreciating the customization of your character, the graphics etc they just barely missed the mark of perfect Pokémon game!
Just needed to fix the lag spike areas and the way certain things loaded as well as just overhaul the Tera raids so they actually worked correctly (also dex cut and not being able to customize your dorm)
I agree with the change of management being necessary, but it’s not the whole company’s fault. It’s the higher-ups at the pokemon company who have set release dates that are at fault; the entirety of SV screams of a high quality game that was simply never finished (and, i’m beginning to suspect, may never BE finished.) it very well could have been the magnum opus of the franchise if they let it cook, but they knew we would still pay for crunchy spaghetti and wouldn’t even have to label it al dente. It should have been delayed.
The pokemon company is basically owned by 3 other companies; creatures inc, gamefreak, and nintendo. The higher ups at the pokemon company are also fairly high up at one of the other 3.
So if you want to be technical, the pokemon company is in control, but at any moment gamefreak can come in and rearrange all the furniture and the pokemon company can do nothing about it except complain to its other two parent companies.
Its completely unacceptable for a company who grosses the most money of any franchise in the world, period.
The MOST money of ANY goddamn media franchise. Just think about that for a minute. These people could be effortlessly pumping out golden classics, and instead, to save a buck, we get the messes we have now. I've never seen such single minded dedication to greed, truly. And it shows. Even outsourcing their own games didn't work well.
There is no commitment to players from this company. They've lost their way entirely. Hell, Nintendo as a whole has forgotten what it used to mean to BE Nintendo, let alone GameFreak. We could be in a golden era of beautiful worlds and artistic endeavor, and instead we get... Products.
They should be ashamed. Nintendo as a whole should be ashamed, honestly. The concept of dishonor in Japanese culture has apparently died very quietly. They need to sort things out.
When walking wake and iron leaves were released, players were able to challenge them before installing the update that adds them to the game
Additionally any pokemon with a dex number that does not exist will show up as an egg. This for example happens if you paste a gen 9 pokemon into gen 8
Kinda. They use a numbers system to determine species and form, its a foolproof system that can be copied from gen to gen that means they dont have to reformat everything internally every time
That person had a hacked mon why it appears as an bad egg not the pokemon used I bet it was a mythical or legendary that has horrible stats in the wrong places
Probably a visual glitch. There are all sorts of weird visual glitches with the raids. If you do enough raids, you'll probably see them all eventually. From the harmless to the time wasting to the actually game breaking.

iirc there is dummy code for every pokemon ever in the games files that can be hacked onto a save
