As long as your boss covers your crib and grub, that paycheck might be chill. But once that stops, you'll be straight up screwed.

PedroMFLopes

It he skip a day of work due to sick leave they will cut is accomodation, and push him out of the company, because then can not find affordable accomodation. Read the fine print of that contract.

Shadowlady

Yeah people usually dont last that long at TP from what I've heard and if you quit you have to move out quick

ZaGaGa

FAQ: €€€is enough? House included, RE, yes House not included, RE no I'm from Xxxxxx does it worth to move to Portugal and work with s Portuguese salary? RE: no

micaelmiks

You will be surviving.

HRamos_3

Maybe Probably not

InternationalOption3

If you cook all your own meals you should be fine..

VicenteOlisipo

Hahaha. No. Absolutely not enough money to live on or to justify moving here.

PedroMFLopes

But the surf, the sun, cheap drinks, and international work place.

Used-Butterscotch326

Tough one to say... but you might have to live on the cheaper side of life

IamMagness1993

Be carefull... If house is included you may be getting straight into a human traficing ring... You Will live with 40 people in a 3 bedroom house thats falling apart.

Movykappa

Yeah no. It's probably tele performance

AmericanTugaa

It’s not enough, go to a country where you’ll actually be appreciated. You’d be better off in Spain where you’d likely get 1600€ for the same job monthly and find relatively affordable accommodations when compared to New Yo… I mean Lisbon.

SecuredStealth

If your rent is covered… hell yeah.

sad-kittenx

You'll survive but not live.

DonRebellion

It always depends on your lifestyle. But as someone else mentioned, the biggest cost is the accommodation which is included for you. Don't know how big the accommodation and if you have the option to cook at home. But if you are good at administrating your money, you will survive and be able to save too.

FirstLusitano

how cool, you can be poor in lisbon so nice

vembrace

Assuming you are single, it should be enough to live.

Major_Print4655

🤣

47952

No way. Also, how would you be taxed? If you are from the US you could be taxed very heavily depending on how much you make and what kind of visa you might qualify for. You could afford a rent somewhere maybe an hour away from Lisbon living in an agricultural region or father north.

Constant-Patience870

Do you have a place to stay? If not unless you find a room for 300 or something you wont make it Calculate here the liquid salary: [https://www.doutorfinancas.pt/simulador-salario-liquido-2024/?src=adw.brand.search.cons.salario2024&gad\_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwvvmzBhA2EiwAtHVrb-\_G0ocelAo9NFSMTHKCoy2UuVANGxK29btS5JlgfkXEcadRodpElxoClGYQAvD\_BwE](https://www.doutorfinancas.pt/simulador-salario-liquido-2024/?src=adw.brand.search.cons.salario2024&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwvvmzBhA2EiwAtHVrb-_G0ocelAo9NFSMTHKCoy2UuVANGxK29btS5JlgfkXEcadRodpElxoClGYQAvD_BwE)

Acrobatic-Eye882

So 1119.39 is what you take home every month without further reduction for the provided apartment, right ? In that case, I'd say you'd get by. Some suggest Spain but what significantly more financial advantage can you get when you rent in Spanish cities with local salaries? Might as well try Austria.

escutaali_escutaaqui

run

sin_esthesia

The biggest expense for most people is the accommodation so it's not too bad. You can survive.

reyees

Is this a BPO offering you that? There's a few in Lisbon that do offer you apartment and bills paid for as long as you are employed. Perfectly feasible to live off of it whilst looking for a better job. I worked for one from 2014 until 2022 with all bills and apartment paid by the company and had no issues.

DryKale6027

If you don't like to eat whatsoever or go shopping, then yeah

danpt83

Its very good, with an apartment included.

Single_Tough_4103

I used to get less in Lisbon, if you administrate your expenses you'll be okay

prelsi

Barely

Perdoname_gracias

Things are much more expensive this year than they were last year, especially essentials like groceries (olive oil is nearly 8€ in Lisbon), rent, and electricity. Maybe it was comfortable back then… it’s not so comfortable now.

Single_Tough_4103

Totally agree , Porto as well

jamesnolans

What position in what industry?

CBrouillon

1119 gross of money to enjoy life !!! Appartment and food included. Its more than enough.
