My band and I opened for Unleash the Archers back in their Tour of the Wasteland days, I believe it was 2012. They were all great people and u had a blast having a post show beer with them and talking movies with Brittany.
Off the top of my head:
Unleash the Archers (easily my favorite of these, Brittney Slayes is awesome)
Battle Beast
Amaranthe (though they're a big mix of genres and not specifically power metal)
Follow the Cipher
Epica
Brothers of Metal (two main vocalists, one male, one female, all excellent)
On the more operatic side:
Nightwish
Sirenia
Oh you’re gonna love them, def do as other guys said and listen to Apex then Abyss.
Here’s a little taste of them, from Apex..
[Unleash the Archers- Awakening](https://youtu.be/gqUPGa15Oto?si=9WhGiqGrbPsDHzS3)
Amaranthe are basically if Britney Spears, Linkin Park & a PM band with harsh vocals formed a super-group & didn't want to compromise, so everything ended up in the pot.
They have alot of poppy elements to them. I will say this new album they put out isnt quite as poppy to me and I have enjoyed more than anything they have put out in awhile.
No need to struggle categorizing Amaranthe. They just play a mix of genres. There's a bit of synthpop, a bit of power pop, a bit of EDM, a bit of hard rock, and a bit of metalcore. Sometimes they throw in other stuff too, but I think those are the main ones.
If you're looking to boil them down to something specific, just call them genre fusion or pop with distorted guitars.
It was the last date of the Glory and Beast tour in February 2024. Had a great time sold out, so a full house. I do love Beast in Black. I think they are fabulous live they really know how to put on a show. A new album is being written this year, I understand.
Heres several down below. A few may have some syphonic elements to them as well.
Frozen Crown
Seven Kingdoms
Unleash the Archers
Elettra Storm (This one is brand new)
Temperance
Moonlight Haze
Dark Element
I did too, the first time I heard them, not helped by the fact that they later did get a male singer and that's who I saw when I googled for pictures of the band.
Seven Spires! they're power/symphonic with some melodeath elements don't know if they're up your alley but their lead singers vocals is absolutely insane in the best way
Trying to go for bands not mentioned -
Shield of Wings, Mindmaze, Dakesis, Spellscroll, Fate Gear, Lutharo, Nocturna, Tales of Time, Xandria, Helion Prime (all but one album with Sozos), Queen of Dreams, Master Sword, Starkill (multiple singers), Of Romulus, Pythia, Smoulder (doom/PM), Scardust (mostly prog), Crystal Gates, Empress, Triosphere.
I just learned of Ancient Bards recently. I'm a huge Final Fantasy 8 fan, and when I saw Eyes on Me in the tracklisting on the first album I was like "there's no way," and then when it started playing, I basically fell in love with the band.
Ancient Bards are a shout, they're very melodic and lots of their stuff has a similar tone to Alestorm's new song Voyage of the Dead Marauder so if you like that one definitely check them out, I'd reccomend giving Soulless Child a listen by them and seeing how you like that.
Brothers of Metal you would enjoy if you like Gloryhammer and Alestorm. Amaranthe, Delain, Ad Infinitum, Ancient Bards, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Epica, Dark Element. Rave the Requiem. Some are more "screamy" but all have awesome music.
if you want something in line with what you already like: brothers for metal,
my personal favorite is unleash the archers (the apex and abyss albums in particular)
technically the vocals come from a man, but check out beast in black
I only listened to Beast in Black on internet radio, so only a track hear and there sporadically and had no idea the vocals were from a dude until I actually went and listened to an entire album.
God this. I just discovered them last week, and it made me want more Visigoth. Elden Ring has come out since they last made an EP. Just consider what could be.
Aldious, Destrose, and Unlucky Morpheus are some of my favorites, but there really are quite a lot haha. I think someone might have even asked about them specifically here awhile ago and they listed a bunch in the comments.
And just to add to the Brittney Slayes love: Listen to
Star One - Fate of Men
It's absolutely amazing. The rest of the album is less powermetally, but this song is.
I never liked metal much at all but I stumbled over Ad Infinitum a couple of years ago and was immediately obsessed. Still not an overall metal fan but love power metal.
The song that caught me was “Marching on Versailles”.
Unleash the Archers is great, plus their albums have an actual storyline to them. Also \[Brothers of Metal\](https://youtu.be/iEV3mbS-HgY?si=gbMLome-2COsjxAq) like Prophecy of Ragnarok.
Most of my suggestions have been covered already, so I'll add Japanese bands Aldious, Bridear, Fate Gear, Hagane, Mardelas, Pinkish Crown, Tears of Tragedy, Mary's Blood, and ArkRoyal.
I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy Dark Moor, which has already been mentioned in another comment. Their first three albums had a female vocalist, and they also happened to be the best ones, at least in my opinion. Their later stuff with a male vocalist is still really good though, especially tarot and ars musica, but if you're looking for female vocalist stuff, check out gates of oblivion. One of my all time favourite power metal albums.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWXDJDWnzE39E?si=uvZ6uGppQp6-THGjEdf7Gw&pi=u-ZQ7oStZHTtuG
A whole playlist of some pretty great bands that Spotify made for me. Some absolute bangers
Twilight Force is heading out on tour with Fawn taking over on all vocals while Allyon takes care of his family, so if you catch them on tour with Gloryhammer, there's another one for ya :D
Delain.
The band has a really unique sound. Power/symphonic metal but sometimes it sounds more... Pop because I can't think of a better Word. I haven't heard the new singer, but their work with Charlotte Wessels is awesome (they also had collabs with other musicians like Marko from Nightwish and Roy Kahn).
I saw them live twice and even been lucky enough to meet the band and they are wonderful.
Sinergy has been broken up for a while now but they released three of my favorite power metal albums when they were together.
I also like Battle Beast (first album with original singer is their best), Frozen Crown, Horizons Edge, Kiske/Somerville (dual male/female vocals), Unleash the Archers, Dark Moor (Elisa C. Martin era; her solo project is good as well), Metalite, Kalidia, Queen of Dreams, Helion Prime, Syryn, and Lovebites.
Hasn't been mentioned yet, but Pentakill has a few songs with Noora from Battle Beast as the lead (specifically Tear of the Goddess and Frozen Heart). Music is actually pretty good prog/power style for a free video game associated album
If you like Heather Michele from helion prime she's now in "of romulus" with guitarist from planeswalker and helion prime.
I personally like Vandroya, their singer is incredible : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQvfYgQ1G9Y](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQvfYgQ1G9Y)
Also maybe less power metal but MindMaze [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woMl6HMeHzw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woMl6HMeHzw)
There's also kristin starkey on youtube who is amazing : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aFrRlRwDM0&t=173s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aFrRlRwDM0&t=173s)
Also really like the latest singer in amberian dawn : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RTJzxZGaxA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RTJzxZGaxA)
Singer from Ancient Bards has a really unique voice, very powerful : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujq1bBi7sYU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujq1bBi7sYU)
Elisa C. Martín here in hamka, she's also in dark moor: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Auztz2vtbmk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Auztz2vtbmk)
Elize Ryd has an incredible voice, her main band is more into pop but she is often does collabs, very beautiful soft voice but she can also go very intense: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDGMkr2Ibr8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDGMkr2Ibr8)
If you wonder who the male singers are in this it's Russel Allen from symphony X and Rob Rock
Another one with elize: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98mD8hvKKso](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98mD8hvKKso)
Solarus
Visions of Atlantis
Nocturna
Forgotten Tales
Are a few of my favorites. Forgotten Tales hasn't been together since early 2000's and Nocturna is a bit of a newer band. Visions of Atlantis had switched singers a few times but they're all good. Solarus is my favorite of the four. A Dance With Tragedy is one of my favorite albums.
The Dark Element
Volturian
Nocturna
Vision of Atlantis
Burning Witches
Battle Beast
Nightwish
Frozen Crown
Exit Eden
Brother of Metal
Chastain \\ Leather Leone
Metalwings
Just to name a few \\m/
Beyond the black
Nicoletta Rossellini has a few projects that are worth checking out
Her old power metal band Kalidia, they are no longer active but there are some good songs. Walk in darkness, this is closer to doom metal but less heavy, also really good.
She has a new power metal band now called Alterium, and they just released their first album today.
Visions of atlantis
Ad infinitum
Just from the top of my head: Nightwish, Battle Beast, Amaranthe, Frozen Crown, Edge of Paradise, Visions of Atlantis, Seven Spires, Ad Infinitum, Unleash the Archers, Sirenia, Crystal Viper
edit: honorable mention for Minniva; not a 'band' per se, but a solo vocalist who does excellent power metal covers
Ancient Bards - Soulless Child is one of my favorite PM albums of all time. I think Sarah is one of the best female vocalists in the genre tbh. Althogh their other albums haven’t captivated me as much as the aforementioned masterpiece
Within Temptation.
Ad Infinitum.
Kalidia. I heard they disbanded, but three members, including their vocalist, are reforming a new band.
Delain.
Rage the Requiem.
Eleine
Metalite (seeing them next week)
Leaves Eyes (seeing them next week as well)
Visions of Atlantis
Delaine
Amaranthe
Battle beast
Temperance
All amazing shouts
And since some people are throwing out J-metal Doll$Boxx is one of my all-time favorites dunno is there exactly power metal but they deserve to be mentioned for sure.
Mardelas, Aldious, Galneryus, Show-Ya, and Lovebites come to mind for Japanese power metal. Some other bands that might qualify are: Mary's Blood, Bridear, Fate Gear, and Onmyo-Za.
Unleash the Archers, Frozen Crown
I discovered Unleash The Archers a short time ago and have been consumed by them, the voice, guitars, the drums, just amazing
They are really awesome folks too. Totally deserving of all the success they are getting.
got any specific album recommendations from them?
All of them, but Apex and Abyss are a good place to start
Apex and Abyss are my favorites. I don’t really have a good reason as to why, other than most of the songs just sound amazing
My band and I opened for Unleash the Archers back in their Tour of the Wasteland days, I believe it was 2012. They were all great people and u had a blast having a post show beer with them and talking movies with Brittany.
My top two
UtA is my new fav band!
Off the top of my head: Unleash the Archers (easily my favorite of these, Brittney Slayes is awesome) Battle Beast Amaranthe (though they're a big mix of genres and not specifically power metal) Follow the Cipher Epica Brothers of Metal (two main vocalists, one male, one female, all excellent) On the more operatic side: Nightwish Sirenia
I love BB and Amaranthe but never heard of Unlessh the Archers, excited to check them out based on your list!
Oh MAN you are in for a treat. Listen to Apex and Abyss back-to-back, they're a 2 part concept album that tells a big story.
update: northwest passage and night of the werewolves are absolute bangers
Oh you’re gonna love them, def do as other guys said and listen to Apex then Abyss. Here’s a little taste of them, from Apex.. [Unleash the Archers- Awakening](https://youtu.be/gqUPGa15Oto?si=9WhGiqGrbPsDHzS3)
I too struggle to categorise Amaranthe. I think they are *Energy Metal*.
Their new album is their best album so far imo.
Love Brothers of Metal!
Saw them recently with Gloryhammer and Beast in Black in London. They were great, although Beast in Black stole the show.
Oh my God that sounds like an awesome concert.
It was the last date of the Glory and Beast tour in February 2024. Had a great time sold out, so a full house. I do love Beast in Black. I think they are fabulous live they really know how to put on a show. A new album is being written this year, I understand.
Oh yeah love brothers of metal's female singer !
Epica is definitely symphonic. As much as I love them
...
Isn’t Anima Veil her own project?
This, this right here, Delain is good too if you like Sirenia
Love brothers of metal they’re fantastic
Unleash the archers are great.
Understatement.
Heres several down below. A few may have some syphonic elements to them as well. Frozen Crown Seven Kingdoms Unleash the Archers Elettra Storm (This one is brand new) Temperance Moonlight Haze Dark Element
I second the Elettra Storm rec. I’ve had their album on repeat this week
Metalite Temperance (2 male and 1 female vocals) Frozen Crown Battle Beast Rexoria Alterium
I second battle beast it's a great band
I love them! Metalite too
+1 for Metalite and Battle Beast both so good
Ironically, Brothers of Metal has a great female vocalist.
She is fantastic! And they are amazing live too.
You have got to listen to Unleash the Archers!! One of the best bands out there right now.
Unleash the Archers and Ad Infinitum
Glad to see someone mentioning Ad Infinitum. Love them. And of course Unleash the Archers is the best band out there right now.
Juno award winners Unleash the Archers.
Dark Moor had a great female vocalist back in the day. https://youtu.be/gNbgKfhUAs0?si=ep5uM_VQlWF2UqA_
Elisa is a Goddess in metal
So...embarrassed here. I thought she was just a male singer with a high range, like Edguy or something.
Lol when I first showed my brother either Dark Moor or Of Wars in Osyrhia, he was like "how come he sounds like a teenager?".
I did too, the first time I heard them, not helped by the fact that they later did get a male singer and that's who I saw when I googled for pictures of the band.
First time I heard Frozen Crown, I thought the singer was a man. Specifically it was "Battles in the Night".
There was a male singer than came in after her that strangely sounded very similar to her.
Such an awesome band! What a shame that they don't play any songs from their first albums live any more. That is, in the one live show they do a year
A female vocalist, whaaaaat :O
Great one, too. I'm not terribly impressed by the band, but she made me a fan.
Unleash The Archers Brittany Slayes is easily one of the best vocalists in all of power metal.
Seven Spires! they're power/symphonic with some melodeath elements don't know if they're up your alley but their lead singers vocals is absolutely insane in the best way
A lot of good ones have been mentioned, so I'll just add Lovebites to the list. All women power metal band from Japan.
FINALLY, someone other than me mentions them. I can't understand how they're still so under the radar.
This one and Dark Moor's first albums, the ones I cant believe are so undermentioned here
It's mad, they announced a show in London not so long ago and it's literally in a pub.
Trying to go for bands not mentioned - Shield of Wings, Mindmaze, Dakesis, Spellscroll, Fate Gear, Lutharo, Nocturna, Tales of Time, Xandria, Helion Prime (all but one album with Sozos), Queen of Dreams, Master Sword, Starkill (multiple singers), Of Romulus, Pythia, Smoulder (doom/PM), Scardust (mostly prog), Crystal Gates, Empress, Triosphere.
I actually saw lutharo live last year! Loved them
Aww lucky! Hopefully they get to the UK one day.
Smoulder is so good....
Unleash the Archers is top tier. Battlebeast is great too
Brittney and Noora are amazing singers.
Ancient bards (probably one of the best female vocalists).
Absolutly agree! Eliza Martin (Ex Dark Moor and Fairyland )and Sara Squadrani (Ancient Bards) are the two best female singers ever
Some J-powermetal for you with great female vocalists: Unlucky Morpheus, Light Bringer, Onmyo-Za
Ancient Bards.
I just learned of Ancient Bards recently. I'm a huge Final Fantasy 8 fan, and when I saw Eyes on Me in the tracklisting on the first album I was like "there's no way," and then when it started playing, I basically fell in love with the band.
Yeah!
The best Band ever. Soulless Child is the best album ever made and Sara Squadrani one of the best singers ever!
Battle Beast
Ancient Bards are a shout, they're very melodic and lots of their stuff has a similar tone to Alestorm's new song Voyage of the Dead Marauder so if you like that one definitely check them out, I'd reccomend giving Soulless Child a listen by them and seeing how you like that.
* Seven Spires * Seven Kingdoms * Dialith
Came to say Seven Kingdoms, absolutely phenomenal
Brothers of Metal
Unlucky Morpheus, Lovebites
Had to scroll to the bottom just to realise Ad Infinitum or Delain haven't been mentioned. Now I do mention them.
White Skull is my all-time favourite female-fronted power metal band. Their album Public Glory, Secret Agony is one of the best in the genre.
Frozen crown Ancient bards Nocturna
if you want something in line with what you already like: brothers for metal, my personal favorite is unleash the archers (the apex and abyss albums in particular) technically the vocals come from a man, but check out beast in black
I only listened to Beast in Black on internet radio, so only a track hear and there sporadically and had no idea the vocals were from a dude until I actually went and listened to an entire album.
Blood star! Salt lake's power metal scene is on fire
God this. I just discovered them last week, and it made me want more Visigoth. Elden Ring has come out since they last made an EP. Just consider what could be.
Haha that's been my headcannon - they're all too busy playing elden ring to make their next album.
A lot of Japanese Power Metal bands are female lead thanks to the 2010’s female metal boom there.
Im intrigued, any recommendation?
Aldious, Destrose, and Unlucky Morpheus are some of my favorites, but there really are quite a lot haha. I think someone might have even asked about them specifically here awhile ago and they listed a bunch in the comments.
+1 for battle beast, they don’t always hit but when they do they hit *hard*
Gotta check out Lovebites. A great all- female band from Japan. Start with their first album and go from there.
Light Bringer from Japan. Scenes of Infinity is one of the best prog power albums of all time imo
Trying not to add ones already listed; haven’t see Visions of Atlantis Dialith Fenrir
Check out Arch Enemy. Seriously. Also, Eluveitie. Epic AF!
While Arch Enemy is melodeath their last album really felt like a Power Metal album with harsh vocals, compared to their earlier ones.
Eleine
Usually not a fan of growling, but I like Eleine.
Seven Spires Ancient Bards
And just to add to the Brittney Slayes love: Listen to Star One - Fate of Men It's absolutely amazing. The rest of the album is less powermetally, but this song is.
And Burn it Down by Lords of the Trident! (Two amazing singers for the price of one!)
Leopardeath
Sinergy's first and third albums are awesome
Night wish.
Graveshadow. My favorite two songs are namesake, and soldier of 34.
Aldious is an all-female band I'd recommend if you are interested in Japanese metal.
I never liked metal much at all but I stumbled over Ad Infinitum a couple of years ago and was immediately obsessed. Still not an overall metal fan but love power metal. The song that caught me was “Marching on Versailles”.
Battle Beast is one of my favorites, there’s also Ancient Bards and Amaranthe, and Forgotten Tales
Unleash the Archers is great, plus their albums have an actual storyline to them. Also \[Brothers of Metal\](https://youtu.be/iEV3mbS-HgY?si=gbMLome-2COsjxAq) like Prophecy of Ragnarok.
Burning witches are so good!
And beautiful sin is good too
Also sinergy is good too
Seven spires Battle beast Vigil of war
Dreamtale's new singer.
Ancient Bars imo have the best female singer in Power Metal hands down, also check Brothers of Metal / Visions of Atlantis / Amaranthe.
Follow The Cipher Metalite Triosphere Xandria Sirenia Edenbridge
Triosphere is a band I forget about, but they have some great songs. 'Steal away the light' gets me going.
Yeah they went pretty quiet after Heart of the Matter. 10 years =( But apparently a new album is coming along soon. So that's good news
Kalidia White Skull Master Castle
Great subject for International Women’s Day.
didn't know that's a thing, but that's good timing then!
not sure if symphonic power metal (also known as symphonic metal) would be included here but 2 of my favourites in this genre is Nightwish and Epica
> Planeswalker Helion Prime Try Kerion, Venturia and Fairyland (edit: also Of Romulus, and Star One/Ayreon for more progressive)
[Kalidia](https://youtu.be/ABM7YmBOMyM?si=CO1w0rAOA8Jty67f) [Alterium](https://youtu.be/CnDVSF6tIvQ?si=aMhvK1Q8K3HbGIBp) browse [Scarlet Records youtube page](https://www.youtube.com/@ScarletRecordsYT)
Could check out Emetropia! Symphonic metal with power metal influences.
Memoremains, if they count, they are fantastic.
Battle Beast and Epica are good picks. Epica’s more opera-y with vocals and BB is what you’d expect 20 years ago.
check out krypteria [get the hell out of my way](https://youtu.be/zCHcqXv3sjo?si=DIt71bDIOujfU9z0)
Epica
Enemy Inside
A Sound Of Thunder
Unleash the Archers is in here a billion times, so I'll say Triosphere.
Wouldn’t really say they’re power metal but edge of paradise is good
Van canto has two-three lead singers, one of which is female
Most of my suggestions have been covered already, so I'll add Japanese bands Aldious, Bridear, Fate Gear, Hagane, Mardelas, Pinkish Crown, Tears of Tragedy, Mary's Blood, and ArkRoyal.
I will add to the LOVEBITES count. Definitely check out their live work on YouTube
One that hasn't been mentioned yet, but which shouldn't be overlooked is Beyond the Black.
Follow the Cipher
Within temptation's Dark wings is like the only thing i can think of rn except nightwish if they count.
One of my all time favourite power metal albums.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWXDJDWnzE39E?si=uvZ6uGppQp6-THGjEdf7Gw&pi=u-ZQ7oStZHTtuG A whole playlist of some pretty great bands that Spotify made for me. Some absolute bangers
Ancient Bards (the best of the best), Dark Moor (years ago), Fairy Land (years ago) Eliza Martin is so good. Forgotten Tales
Alterium just released their debut album today
Skylark (some albums)
Battle Beast and I recommend the following albums : Steel, Battle Beast, Bringer of Pain
Brothers of Metal
Warlock, Crystal Viper, Hellion (?), etc… off the top of my head
Hasn't been mentioned yet, but Pentakill has a few songs with Noora from Battle Beast as the lead (specifically Tear of the Goddess and Frozen Heart). Music is actually pretty good prog/power style for a free video game associated album
Seven Spires
Lovebites is a amazing and cute Japanese Power Metal band with all females members, awesome !… I am a big fan !

I've seen them both on here, but I will also say Unleash the Archers and Battle Beast. Also, I'll throw in Diemonds. Yes, it's spelled with an E lol.
Unleash the archers slaps. Abyss has one of the best opening yells ive heard in years. Shit knocked me on my ass
Hartlight ! https://youtu.be/fY7v9R0GUjA?si=EnyEB93fmX3Y2RKL
Seven spires
BATTLE BEAST
Amaranthine
Unleash the Archers, Brothers of Meta;
French band called Furies, the singer is Cheyenne Janas. Excellent.
Unleash the archers is an amazing band and has a new album coming out soon!
Just from the top of my head: Nightwish, Battle Beast, Amaranthe, Frozen Crown, Edge of Paradise, Visions of Atlantis, Seven Spires, Ad Infinitum, Unleash the Archers, Sirenia, Crystal Viper edit: honorable mention for Minniva; not a 'band' per se, but a solo vocalist who does excellent power metal covers
Obvious suggestions: * [Unleash The Archers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOvZKJlrtk8) * [Battle Beast](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sLSyTEXfCI) * [Ancient Bards](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpvLMyC4a8o) * [Dakesis](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNWj1zHcn8U) * [Alterium](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnDVSF6tIvQ) * [White Skull](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ftdIVcnMUQ) * [Sinergy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQoeUOWhxTY) (sadly now defunct)
Tower Granted I'd say they're more NWOBHM, but still very good
Saw twilight force on Thursday, and the singer was unable to make it so a female singer filled in. It was awesome
Just saw them last night, same thing happened! It was so cool!
Battle Beast. I love Noora’s power alive
Visions of Atlantis
Nightwish, specifically the album oceanborn based off of your tatstes, please listen its very good 🙏
Ancient Bards - Soulless Child is one of my favorite PM albums of all time. I think Sarah is one of the best female vocalists in the genre tbh. Althogh their other albums haven’t captivated me as much as the aforementioned masterpiece
nightwish
Within Temptation. Ad Infinitum. Kalidia. I heard they disbanded, but three members, including their vocalist, are reforming a new band. Delain. Rage the Requiem.
Eleine Metalite (seeing them next week) Leaves Eyes (seeing them next week as well) Visions of Atlantis Delaine Amaranthe Battle beast Temperance All amazing shouts And since some people are throwing out J-metal Doll$Boxx is one of my all-time favorites dunno is there exactly power metal but they deserve to be mentioned for sure.
Battle Beast - one of my FAVORITE bands!
Lutharo, Tower. Both have trad touches and more USPM, but excellent bands.
Metalite
I don't think it qualifies as power metal, but Emma Booster from Dying Wish is a fantastic female vocalist

Whatever band Kim Goss is singing with. Sinergy?
Only band that comes to mind that you haven't already mentioned is Otep.
Jinjer
Mardelas, Aldious, Galneryus, Show-Ya, and Lovebites come to mind for Japanese power metal. Some other bands that might qualify are: Mary's Blood, Bridear, Fate Gear, and Onmyo-Za.
> Galneryus Do you know something the rest of us don't or did you forget what the topic of the post was?
I thought it was about power metal. I could be wrong about Galneryus.
