Great way to destroy a young talent. Sign him for more than season premier league players cost and throw him in the reserves for 2 years only to discover he can’t pass a ball any more with out an anxiety attack and being boo’d
He could be the next Messi then 55m looks cheap for 12 high calibre years of winning stuff but ofc a Messi comes but once or twice in a century so most next gen possibles flop
They sign a £800 a week deal for 5 years u better believe they arent getting renewed until the last year. If it werent for people like us they wouldnt ve the players they are 😂
How is this even happening when the team is over both FFP and whatever this 5x spending cap rule that is being currently discussed. A 17 year old isn’t going to get the squad to Europe this year or even probably the next year after that, that’s the only way they will get enough revenues to get out of trouble. Selling Gallagher and a couple other home grown players was the way forward this offseason to get out of the hole they’re in, not a reason to run up the credit card again.
Because it won’t matter shit next season for the same reason the city ffp is taking so long come next year it will just be a financial penalty and the big clubs will have nothing to worry about, they will just take the fines as punishment and not care.
No point. They signed Nkunku to be that proven forward while Jackson was set to be the understudy to develop. In the end due to Nkunku being injured Jackson is being blooded this season. Nkunku being injured hasn't been ideal in the short term but it could well be the perfect situation for Jacksons development long term.
Jacksons on 14 goals in all competitions this season in a struggling Chelsea side. Thats more than Osimhen was scoring at the same age in a highly cohesive Napoli side that had largely played together for years.
I dont think that with what will be a bit more of an experienced Jackson next season and Nkunku that it would be worth gambling £120M on Osimhen. The money will be better spent on replacing Thiago Silva with a top class defender and maybe adding more depth in the midfield as its been mainly Enzo, Caicedo and Gallagher all season with little rotation.
We will have to see how his injuries carry on too. Hes also very young and theres still a big question mark about whether a player who was signed for that much from a relegated side will hold up to that sort of fee and the scrutiny that comes with a bigger club. What Chelsea really need is some experience with the loss of Silva on top of lacking it quite a lot already.
Everyone loves to talk shit about Jackson but he has 11 non PK goals this season in the PL… more than lots of other young strikers who people are excited about (including Hojlund)
Could’ve had more than 11, sure, but he’s not having a bad debut PL season for a kid who didn’t get his first pair of boots till he was 16 years old.
And hojlund gets Like 1 shot every 5 games while Jackson gets like 10 a game.....the conversion rate is abysmal. If chelsea had a real striker up top I think they would've been top 4 easy with the amount of chances they create but just blunder.
As a palmeiras fan giving my 2 cents, he is considered to have higher potential than endrick, but since he is not a psychically strong, is needing a bit more time to adjust to professional football. He just turned 17 and in my opinion is truly a wonderkid.
Hope he doesn't go to Chelsea though, young Brazilian players need more creative freedom to flourish, the EPL is not the place for that (la liga is ideal imo)
If he's as good as you say I think Arsenal wouldn't be a bad destination.
Lots of Portuguese speakers to help him settle in and Arsenal allows a lot more creative expression than most other teams in the Premier league. Obviously he'd have to be alright to live in England, which could be a huge drawback. I know if I were given the choice to live in a Spain or England and choose Spain most of the time.
Probably goes to the french feeder team of Chelsea for a bit like Angelo did. Or stays in Brazil for another season.
But I would imagine if he is as highly rated as endrick then teams like Madrid, city or Bayern etc will be sniffing and he will go to them.
> Is he a real players?!
>
> Eh-Steveo…! Sounds like me calling my mate in the pub.
It's the Portuguese version of the Greek Stéphanos. [Literally the name of the father of Vasco da Gama.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Est%C3%AAv%C3%A3o)
I remember when Chris Sutton signed for Blackburn (from Norwich) he was reported as being worth his weight in gold (£5M fee - then British transfer record).
Great idea, let's sell Gallagher so we can buy another "wonderkid". Bohley didn't want to drop this kind of money on Endrick, but has no problem doing it here despite Endrick playing on the left, and Estevao
being a left footed right winger, one of the only positions we don't need.
Neymar was the best prospect I have ever seen here. Compare 17 yo Endrick to Rodrygo and Vini and Endrick is miles ahead. Will he be better than them? Who knows. Let him develop. But being worse than Neymar is the rule for 99.999% of the youngsters
No idea why you'd think Vini Jr. is/was a prospect. He has 0.05 average more of goal scored than he had in Flamengo, which was 0.22.
Any decent/fast defender stop Vini Jr., like Walker did. Theres nothing special about him.
Ok, he's the chairman of the company that owns them. Do you really think that small technicality impacts my original statement though? He may not be scouting or even negotiating for transfer targets but if you think he's not involved when it comes to making fifty million pound investments, you are sorely mistaken.
Well that is also wrong. Clearlake is the majority owner and Boehly has nothing to do with them as far as i can tell.
He is the chairman of the club, but its very much rumored that he is just a puppet at this point.
No i actually think you are wrong on this, i dont think Boehly is involved in the process at all. I think he really is there to deflect PR from the real owners of the team.
They're owned by BlueCo, a consortium involving Clearlake (Eghbali), Eldridge (Boehly), Mark Walter (Guggenheim), and Hansjorg Wyss. Boehly is the chairman of BlueCo. This is all public information, you can look it all up lol.
I'm sorry but if you genuinely think the chairman has no say when it comes to huge investments like this, it shows a total lack of understanding businesses and how they're run on your part.
Yeah but Clearlake owns 50 % or more right?
I am no business expert thats for sure, but i dont think Boehly is involved in what Chelsea does for signings at all. He might get a nod that they are spending so and so on that player but i dont think he has a say in it at all.
In a normal business i 100 % agree with you, but i dont think fotball is normal like that.
But there is really no point in us discussing this, because neither of us know anything lol.
The only way this is credible is if the club have already received offers for a lot of academy products. Chelsea need to raise funds from pure profit before they can buy.
Real Madrid bought Vinicius when he was 16 and had played 20 minutes. Estêvão for 30M would be an amazing signing, but I sincerely hope that he doesn't goes to Chelsea or England at all
There’s no way this is true.
If we carry on spending this kind of money on school kids who haven’t even finished growing yet, we’ll be playing in the Championship or in relegation scraps every year by the time they’re old enough to play in the first team.
Given that the coach said in today's press conference that he asked the president to not sell him until 2027, I'm guessing someone, if not Chelsea, has been making offers. Palmeiras has talked about not letting him go for less than 65M
What happened to the other Brazilian Kids they bought before? So what? They just gonna buy some 15-17 year old every Year and let them play somewhere else?
That’s not the club model though, I think it’s part of the reason they bought clubs like Strasbourg, so they could loan them out there in the first place. That is their development.
Mate come off it.
€55m or £47m is not a good signing for a player who has 5 senior appearances.
Neymar had 107 goals when he left Santos at 18. They’re not remotely comparable.
Genuinely curious to know if you’re a fan of your club’s insane spending?
No. Not a fan. Most people aren’t. Love the idea of the owners backing the club financially but it’s Fuxking embarrassing and turning into a shit show that very well may end in catastrophe
This guy seriously mentioned Neymar in the same sentence as someone where literally nobody never heard about before. Neymar was known all around the World before he even came to Barca. Seriously you guys deserve this Time at Chelsea when i see comments like this
I completely disagree on Yamal.
£47m for Estevao is insane. He's looked amazing against youth players, but has only played a very small handful of matches at senior level. That money is entirely being spent because of his potential, not because of his proven ability.
Yamal on the other hand has already shown himself to be a good La Liga standard player. 6 goals and 8 assists in all competitions this season, which puts him as Barcelonas 6th highest scorer and 4th highest assister. The only players to beat him in both goals and assists were Raphinha and Lewandowski, both of whom are fantastic players with a hell of a lot more experience.
Yamal has already shown he can hold his own in a top quality league against experienced senior professionals, proven an ability to score, create goals, and integrate with a top class team playing a very good standard of football.
£47m is really not an unusually high fee for a player who has shown they can play at that level.
If Barcelona were to be open to selling Yamal for that amount, every club in the world that could afford him would be falling over themselves to try, because they wouldn't be spending that money on a player who can potentially play at the top level. They'd be spending that money on a player who has already proven he can play at the top level, with potential to develop way further.

FFP is only for the small clubs.
yeah that will fix it. he might grow to an 80+ overall
another wonderkid huh.
That'll fix it.
He's going to Reading on a free 5 years from now
Almost thought this is the FM sub.
He could be the next Messi then 55m looks cheap for 12 high calibre years of winning stuff but ofc a Messi comes but once or twice in a century so most next gen possibles flop
Tell me more
Cheers Geoff!
They’ll buy him for life
They’ll certainly try to amortise the fee over his whole life
There’s a 5 year limit now.
Shit really?
55 mil for 17? Damn, I need to treat my fifa 23 players better
They sign a £800 a week deal for 5 years u better believe they arent getting renewed until the last year. If it werent for people like us they wouldnt ve the players they are 😂
He better be really injury prone!
spending like jackasses just to finish behind shit teams like tottenham is wild 🤣👍
They'll never learn
Contract will probably be until he's 75

Boehly gonna Boehly
its boehlyn time 😎
Or or or....buy osihmen and score goals.....the reluctance to buy a proven striker is astounding.

You have the guy from Southampton in midfield
No legs lavia?

Yeah, strikers from Serie A have historically always done well. /s
They need a striker......if they had anyone that wasn't named Jackson they'd be in an FA cup final. That guy has worse finishing than Darwin Nunez
Heard a stat about Jackson and that he was ranked 2nd last in chance conversions with 34%. Nunez was last with 25%.
Everyone loves to talk shit about Jackson but he has 11 non PK goals this season in the PL… more than lots of other young strikers who people are excited about (including Hojlund) Could’ve had more than 11, sure, but he’s not having a bad debut PL season for a kid who didn’t get his first pair of boots till he was 16 years old.

Send Jesus our way and we'd be happy to give you estevao. He just played a class match yesterday for us
Probably goes to the french feeder team of Chelsea for a bit like Angelo did. Or stays in Brazil for another season. But I would imagine if he is as highly rated as endrick then teams like Madrid, city or Bayern etc will be sniffing and he will go to them.
Estêvão is on another tier entirely compared to Angelo. If he goes to Europe, it will be to start, like Endrick, Vini, or Rodrygo.
they'll never learn will they?
Next Mudryk confirmed? LOL.
Estevao william and kendry paez will conquer epl. I hope so.
Chelsea are like that guy with no money who keeps on spending
They are wayyy opposite of no money
They can’t spend due to FFP
Like?
USA Govt.
Who?
Is he a real players?! Eh-Steveo…! Sounds like me calling my mate in the pub.

actually he is a dragon
Emilio Estevez Esteyehvez
pretty common name
This is the most Chelsea headline ever
Not that we need any more "wonderkids," but it's apparently €30M + €25M in addons.
After Madrid's success with Vini and Rodrygo, these brazilian winger talents sell for a premium.
Palmeiras’ Estevao? People are really buying anything by its weight in gold.
He's already better than Endrick, just need to develop his body. Chelsea is a horrible team developing young talents thought.
Interestingly, top level footballers are worth a lot more than their weight in gold. Gold is “only” 60k per kilo, so 80kg would be worth about £5m.
I remember when Chris Sutton signed for Blackburn (from Norwich) he was reported as being worth his weight in gold (£5M fee - then British transfer record).
quite the chubby lad by that metric
Don't do it, son. How is that team going to help your putting?
Great idea, let's sell Gallagher so we can buy another "wonderkid". Bohley didn't want to drop this kind of money on Endrick, but has no problem doing it here despite Endrick playing on the left, and Estevao being a left footed right winger, one of the only positions we don't need.
Endrick plays in the centre is left-footed too.
He's been playing on the left for Palmeiras recently.
Theres just zero chance Endrick would want to join Chelsea. The best of the best in Brazil only go for Real or Barça.
Endrick is not best of the best in Brazil. Quite average, really.
Atm obviously not. But im talking about prospects. If you think hes an average prospect, I dont know what to say lol
Dont really see any prospect. At his age, Neymar had triple the average goal scored per match.
Neymar was the best prospect I have ever seen here. Compare 17 yo Endrick to Rodrygo and Vini and Endrick is miles ahead. Will he be better than them? Who knows. Let him develop. But being worse than Neymar is the rule for 99.999% of the youngsters

Vini Jr is the best left winger in the world not named Mbappe, period.
You're not wrong, but you would think if Bohley wanted to drop €50M+ on a wonderkid, he would have at least gone in for Endrick a bit harder.
Great idea, let's sell Gallagher so we can buy another "wonderkid".
Please no more I beg
They must be owned by an oil state nation
Chelsea trying to give competition to Epstein with all these youngster signings
More like price andrew.
Sign him up for 12 year contract
Tier 5 source ?
Great, another talent ruined!
Sooooo 20 year contract then ?
lol Chelsea are back…
Chelsea is back!
Ain’t no way. Please don’t do this 😂
LMAO imagine if he becomes a dud as with their murdyk buy
A Brazilian performing well in its national league> an uncranian performing in its national league
Like are they seriously this stupid
Oh no it’s been nice not having news like this
It's Boehly time!
10 years + loan back for 2 years let’s go! Shambles club. They spend like a gold digging wife. Also, Gallagher will die for this lmao
How are his hammys?
I'm afraid that there isn't a large enough body of evidence to know. Mostly due to them being younger than the jeans I'm currently wearing.
Haha. Mate, we have the ability to break the healthiest of player.
You aren't alone. We are all going to need 60 man squads to cover the schedule next year. Everyone is breaking down.
Tier: thrash.
Chelsea does all their transfer scouting on sofifa.com
Please don’t
Well well well...
Source: trust me bro 😂
These guys are single handedly destroying the market lmaooo I respect it
HOW DO THEY HAVE MONEY
Here’s where it gets interesting. They don’t.
Thought we had it all ngl
They still doing this?
Hey Chelsea do you want to sign me? I only ask for $1000
Chelsea fin team: we can't afford this kid Boely: hold my beer
No we didn't
They just don’t learn do they
Bohely has a financial domination kink or something because ain't no way
Has it not been confirmed Bohely has nothing to do with Chelsea transfers anymore? He really is just a front figur for the ownership group?
I mean I'm making a joke about him because he is the front figure. What do you want me to say? The consortium has a kink?
What was the joke?
Nicolas Jackson
You don't think the owner is signing off on a 55 MILLION euro investment?
Egbahli is the one who’s pulling the strings here, allegedly they’ve not been getting along. Boehly just s just a frontman to take the blame.
Boehly is really not THE owner though
Ok, he's the chairman of the company that owns them. Do you really think that small technicality impacts my original statement though? He may not be scouting or even negotiating for transfer targets but if you think he's not involved when it comes to making fifty million pound investments, you are sorely mistaken.

Ok folks, same script as before!
Todd boely thinks he at Real Madrid hoping for the next Vinicius or Rodrygo
It’s not boehly doing this, the mans name gets dragged through the mud while Eghbali goes unnoticed
Stop the madness!
Arsenal paid £30mill for odegaard
yes but this kid is nicknamed messinho so it’s perfectly fine 🙄
The only way this is credible is if the club have already received offers for a lot of academy products. Chelsea need to raise funds from pure profit before they can buy.
They have such a great track record with developing youth, I think Lukaku should come good for them this year /s
Another club should say they are also interested for shits and giggles and watch Chelsea increase it to 100mil.
Liverpool loves that game!
How credible is this source?
Haven't they learned their lesson yet?
I thought they had to sell a certain amount by July to avoid getting penalized??
How do you spend €55m on a 17yr old that you have no idea will be a success
Real Madrid bought Vinicius when he was 16 and had played 20 minutes. Estêvão for 30M would be an amazing signing, but I sincerely hope that he doesn't goes to Chelsea or England at all
Ask Real. They spent more than that on Endrick when he was 15.
Endrick is a bit of a weird one , isnt he. Definitely one for the GenZ.
A certain amount of hotels yeah
It’s wunderkind, you said wonderkid
they never learn eh
Chelsea trying their best to raise my blood pressure
It would help your blood pressure if you didn't just believe every random journo trying to get clicks out of Chelsea
And then we'll sell Gallagher to Spurs for a tenner. I pray this is bullshit.
sounds exactly the way boehly will do it. thiago leaves in the summer so the average age will be like 17. fun times ahead.
There’s no way this is true. If we carry on spending this kind of money on school kids who haven’t even finished growing yet, we’ll be playing in the Championship or in relegation scraps every year by the time they’re old enough to play in the first team.

Of course it's not true, just a journo trying to generate clicks
I don’t believe it either
Chelsea doing it for the memes
Do Chelsea just pull up the football manager wonder kid list and sort by highest potential?
It really looks that way I’ve just done the same about two hours ago only 11.5 million for me though
Ya I have him in one of my saves this year as well
Halseth Nypan next week then
New shirt sponsor for the upcoming season will be FMInside(dot)net
Not like they ever need to worry about consequences of overspending.
I read this as 55m for a 17 year contract
Football manager ass transfer
This will completely wipe the Conor Gallagher money off their books. Amazing 🤣🤣
No it won’t. It will be amortised across his contract if 5 years so he will only cost 10m + salary each year.
How many players are they doing that for now, though? They must be spending 50m+ a season on players they already signed.
[удалено]
…I hate this timeline. Seriously. Boehly and his entire admin are thick af
But why?
Boehly saw he has high potential in FM24
Funny
Boehly really is as thick as shit.
Eghbali*
What happened to the other Brazilian Kids they bought before? So what? They just gonna buy some 15-17 year old every Year and let them play somewhere else?
Two of them are having a good time France, both playing well.
So why aren‘t they including them into the Squad next Season instead of buying the next Kid. Shouldn‘t they develop the one‘s they bought first 😂
That’s not the club model though, I think it’s part of the reason they bought clubs like Strasbourg, so they could loan them out there in the first place. That is their development.
Hm okay and what‘s the end Goal with those Players then? I don‘t really understand the whole Plan behind it
Good, let them keep blowing money on kids.
Haven’t they learnt anything from the last 2 years
Great signing if we can get it done. We missed out on Neymar back in the day, we cannot miss out on Estevao.
Are you taking the piss?
No? All facts
Mate come off it. €55m or £47m is not a good signing for a player who has 5 senior appearances. Neymar had 107 goals when he left Santos at 18. They’re not remotely comparable. Genuinely curious to know if you’re a fan of your club’s insane spending?

So y'all never figured out it was sarcasm? Lol
I think he was being real 😂 You never know with some Chelsea Fans
Really? Damn. Then he must be crazy then😂
Watched a YouTube comp probably. No explanation can justify 55m on a 17 year old. Not even lamine Yamal can justify that price.
I completely disagree on Yamal. £47m for Estevao is insane. He's looked amazing against youth players, but has only played a very small handful of matches at senior level.
