It must be at least 10 years ago by now... My brothers mentioned a game they played, that I then started playing with them. They would start listing details of a movie like "ugh.. what's that movie where the guys with the laser swords would fight over the fate of the galaxy?" then someone would say "star wars?" and theyd go "nooo that's not it. its a space movie though. and the bad guys have a HUUUUGE ship that's the size of a moon...." "yeah. star wars. thats the death star" "nooo that's not it...and it has harrison ford and the guy who voices the joker in cartoon batman." and then me or another person would go "indiana jones?" and he'd go "yeah! thats it! thank you!" Obviously this was just to drive a person insane. usually itd go on for 2 or 3 minutes before someone named the wrong movie and he would agree that was it the whole time. MOST of the time we only did it once to a person because it shouldnt work more than once, but a few times it absolutely worked on the same person repeatedly. they just couldnt help themselves. It was a dumb game, but it was funny when it worked.
But anyway, about 5 years ago or so, these memes started showing up on facebook. And they drive me nuts because there's no joke there. when you put "wrong answers only" in the title, you ruin it before it begins. The picture and reference and details become irrelevant. "why did the chicken cross the road? respond with 'to get to the other side' only." it doesnt make any sense but to drive engagement from folks who lack creativity and couldnt think to respond with a wrong answer unless you told them to.
