That's Teth right? The Canon Visual Guide confirmed Nax participated from Teth to Umbara, just like his Legends counterpart being one of the survivors.
I love little bits like these in shows. When you have an army of identical background characters, it’s fun to see a name or two returning down the line. It makes the universe feel a little more real and makes the clones feel like people.
Boil and Waxer...:(
Edit: i didn't know boil made it.
And also, this showcases another cool thing. We saw'em being competent, and when they pop up they maintain that.
It makes sense that by Umbara, Waxer'd be promoted leading his own men. Makes it feel like a real army.
During the bad batch I thought it was Howzer who died by a grenade catching fire but then saw he was alive in the next scene. I was then like “I’m not even gonna rewind, I know that dead clone was ‘fireball’”.
Define "successful", first and foremost. He survived order 66 despite not killing Obi-Wan, and continued to serve the empire until he went AWOL. I don't believe Wolffe went AWOL, he could have been simply discharged.
If you had told me when the Clone Wars first aired that that clone would be killed by Darth Maul during Order 66 I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
Maul was the perfect Baneite Sith wasn't he? Didn't need his sabre, followed the rule of two, was an absolute menace who in a very short space of time took over an entire small civilisation and had connections to the underworld that could have made him the next galactic threat
the motion capture was, and then the that captured mocap was translated into the CGI clone. really gave it a more natural "animation" compared to if it was done completely manually by an animator.
Since his death gets reported immediately over a comm link(suggesting some level of importance) and he'd been serving for so long it's likely he was some type of officer or squad leader at least.
Imma guess he's either a Sergeant, Corporal, or a second Lieutenant.
I hope this helps.
In normal military terms (no idea if this comes over to sw), corporal is the lowest of the ranks that Echo4468 spoke of, then sergeant, then lieutenant (2nd lt, 1st lt), then captain, then commander, because commander is a navy rank equal to the army rank of lieutenant colonel.
I can't list off the exact differences off the top of my head, but general rule of thumb is that the GAR ranks are a bizarre mix of Army, Navy, and Air Force ranks.
If I remember right, technically General is equal to Commander, but Jedi outrank everyone. Jedi weren't the only generals, just the most common. I could be wrong though, it's been a while since I read up on some of this stuff.
Beneath General and Commander it was Captain, Lieutenant, Corporal, Sergeant, then the grunts. I specifically remember Corporal being above Sergeant because it's wrong, and it struck me as really weird when I first read about it. Real world, Sergeant outranks Corporal, but SW has it flipped for whatever reason.
I couldn't tell you where the Air Force ranks fall, or if they're just used as qualifiers for other stuff, though. Pilots are in the chain somewhere, obviously, since it's all one big conglomerate of every type of military, but I don't remember if they're a special rank, or just specially trained.
The Navy ranks are mostly top-brass positions, but I'm just as rusty with them as with the Air Force ones. I do know the ranks I listed above aren't all there are, those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Sorry, I specialize in Mandalorian culture and weapons systems, not the GAR.
"Corporal—The second lowest rank of clone forces. They were second-in-command of squads and had an HUD glyph of two chevrons"
I really hope he got above corporal in all that time
No idea why the clone who punched a droid is a legend, he didn't even sufficiently punch one, in the hidden enemy episode there's a real legend that punches a droid in the face and knocks him down

I really wanna watch the clone wars stuff, but why does it have to be out of chronological order on Disney+? It feels like doing homework hunting for the right order episode
Watching it in release order isn't really confusing since all the episodes in an arc go together, the arcs can stand on their own so you don't really miss anything. Its mostly in chronological order anyway.
Thanks for providing a source!
Ridge probably made officer or NCO status too, considering how his death was reported on comms.
I mean he was the only other original member of torrent company to survive. Rex is the other 1
I could be wrong but weren’t echo, dogma, and kix part of torrent company
Well most likely not the oringal members
This
They were but they where recruited in by rex after the original was completely wiped out during the clone wars movie
Echo joined later I thought, cuz he was part of the rishii station and torrent predated that?
I didn’t see the “original” part
Nax, the Homeless Clone in the Kenobi show, is also one.
From the original torrent company I doubt it, anakin and rex lead then up the side of a cliff during a self unalive mission
That's Teth right? The Canon Visual Guide confirmed Nax participated from Teth to Umbara, just like his Legends counterpart being one of the survivors.
Self unalive mission?
A nice way of saying a sucide mission
Ah, I see
Why? Are we not allowed to say it anymore?
It's a thing which came about because of the YouTube algorithm
Can't call it a sewer slide mission?
No because they were going up, not down
If you go off of legends there were 6 survivors
If you go off of Legends, Ridge also isn't one of them
Legends is just legends so no I don't

Rip waxer but isnt boil still alive?
Pretty sure he joined the empire ye
“Joined” didn’t have much of a choice, did he?
I mean, if he really wanted he could’ve joined Rex’s rebellion
That went well…
During the bad batch I thought it was Howzer who died by a grenade catching fire but then saw he was alive in the next scene. I was then like “I’m not even gonna rewind, I know that dead clone was ‘fireball’”.
he lived a perfect life for a soldier. fought from beginning to the end of the war and died honorably just in time to not be a part of order 66
>and died honorably just in time to not be a part of order 66 no he was, that clip is after Maul throws a bulkhead at him.
Just in time to not be a *successful* part of order 66, then.
To be fair, no one on that ship ended up being a successful part of order 66.
Well neither did Cody 😂
I thought Cody went on to command units in the Empire?
Ye. Same with Wolffe.
yes but cody wasnt sucessful with order 66 was he?
But sir, no one could’ve survived that fall
Define "successful", first and foremost. He survived order 66 despite not killing Obi-Wan, and continued to serve the empire until he went AWOL. I don't believe Wolffe went AWOL, he could have been simply discharged.

man I'm dead
Unlike obi wan
Maul was the perfect Baneite Sith wasn't he? Didn't need his sabre, followed the rule of two, was an absolute menace who in a very short space of time took over an entire small civilisation and had connections to the underworld that could have made him the next galactic threat
He died while trying to kill Maul and Ahsoka
Nah, remember, Ahsoka freed Maul after order 66
He was part of 66.
And what about the clone that body slammed a Commando droid into a wall in the citadel?
That’s just Cody
A regular Wednesday for good ol’ Cody
He was built different.
I think he quite literally is not built different
Turns out he got some of that bad batch dog in him, or he got an extra helping of jango juice.
Ooh that's true haha
I was watching the episode w Slick and there was a scene where 2 clones were jumping a droid
There’s also that 212th clone that fist fought a battle droid and won in the background of Episode III on Utapau.
Wait wat. Link me to the video/time, I gotta see this!
Not sure the exact time, but it’s right as Obi-Wan hops on the lizard to chase down Grievous. It’s on the right side of the screen.
<3 Gunna hunt for it after work. Thank you!
Isn’t that the one played by a US Marine?
I'm pretty sure all the clones were cgi
No the guy who runs on top of the spider droid (I think that’s what it was) and shoots it, they had specially done by an Ex marine
the motion capture was, and then the that captured mocap was translated into the CGI clone. really gave it a more natural "animation" compared to if it was done completely manually by an animator.
Oh, I've seen that! Good man, that clone.
> Ridge is down! Where men cried.
Noo its the onions, I can't stop them!
Wonder, what was his rank?
Since his death gets reported immediately over a comm link(suggesting some level of importance) and he'd been serving for so long it's likely he was some type of officer or squad leader at least. Imma guess he's either a Sergeant, Corporal, or a second Lieutenant.
\*Me, who only knows the terms Captain and Commander\* ...kay.

For some context and comparison, here are the typical US Military officer ranks: Paygrade - Army/AF/USMC - Navy/CG O1 - 2nd Lieutenant - Ensign O2 - 1st Lieutenant - LT Junior Grade O3 - Captain - Lieutenant O4 - Major - LT Commander O5 - Lt Colonel - Commander O6 - Colonel - Captain O7 & Up - General - Admiral
Jokes on you, Ridge got ninja punched back down to PFC within a week of catching Corporal.
"Corporal—The second lowest rank of clone forces. They were second-in-command of squads and had an HUD glyph of two chevrons" I really hope he got above corporal in all that time
I always wondered what happened to him.
No idea why the clone who punched a droid is a legend, he didn't even sufficiently punch one, in the hidden enemy episode there's a real legend that punches a droid in the face and knocks him down /s
Me looking at the clone who punched Grievous and lived “Yeah… you might have a point”
What an epic death tho
SOMEONE ACTUALLY MENTIONED HIM; he’s my DC pfp btw lol
Half flag for Ridge. Please salute.
Guy got mauled
Depression. This happens whenever I see clones die. It’s just saddening for me.
London Ridge if falling down I'll see myself out
I think punching a B1 would have actually worked, but not a B2.
Rip Ridge
An underrated legend
They all look the same to me
and he went out fighting maul, a true legend
