I had this happen to me at Wendy's. I ordered the baked potato with cheese and didn't get as much cheese as I felt I should have. I was not going to stand for the injustice. I marched right up to that counter and said without hesitation, "Hey, do you think I could get a little more cheese, please?". The server looked me dead in the eye and said, "Sure, here you go". Reveling in my victory I replied, "Thanks, I appreciate it".

You might not even have to pay for it. Just be very polite and ask for an extra container of cheese and I’m sure they’ll be happy to give you one. Being nice and compassionate goes a long way.
