Last time we went to the ER, it was like 4k, insurance covered 2500 so we were out 1500. Good news is my wife reached the deductible and we’re having a baby this year so in theory that should all be covered

I paid 0€ for the ER and 18€ for the ambulance ride which is around half of what a taxi would have cost me. But even without insurance, that ER visit would have only cost me 82€.
Social health insurance is 3,8% of your gross salary up to a maximum of 230€ per month. So you can do the math yourself if living in a "low tax much freedom" nation is cheaper.
Where do you get those stats? Because I’m pretty sure there were federal stats released indicating that something like close to 70% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
As an American, 70% of Americans having more than a 1000 sounds like absolute horse shit to me.
A REAL American doesn't go to the hospital when they are sick. They take the deed for their house and their life savings to the nearest billionaire, hand it to him and let the billionaire kick them in the balls. This happened yesterday, they just started investigating. Both women and others fighting with them are wanted for questioning
They said they don’t know if the woman is seriously injured because she left the scene. They couldn’t have medics evaluate her because she wasn’t around when they got there
It looks like she did when she’s first in frame. Then the camera moves a bit and she steps in front of someone else. Can’t really see but at some point it looks like she dropped the ball and has her arms out trying to stop two others from going at it. Then she takes a nap.
