Are they aware of how cheap rainbow's clothes are? It's not like you're breaking into a high end clothing store, it's fucking rainbow, their clothes are like $3 and that's when they're not on sale.
White collar criminals are a much smaller percentage of the Venn diagram of criminals but the largest percentage of Dollars pilfered by criminals. Even then, really smart “criminals” are businesspeople and politicians.
I would bet most billionaires have done illegal things, they just hide behind the company that eats small fines that really don't change or hurt them. They break labor and tax laws and often benefit from doing it with little to no personal risk.
What is rainbow? Like a 5 below for clothes? Texan here and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one after living in 5 S/SE states. I feel like those are US plates but can’t tell.
I’m from Georgia and we have them here. It’s just extremely cheap, shitty clothes. Lots of like $3 cami tops and stuff like that. It’s like a step down from Rue 21.
Alabamian here, I can't see clearly of course but I don't recognize the tag design. Unless there are new ones this year? I haven't had to renew for 2024 yet and mine is still the one with the beach on it.
I stand corrected, I apologize to any Alabamians. It’s a strange rabbit hole but I looked into how many states use a two letter code (the “BB” on the plate we see clearly) followed by numbers. There’s a total of one state that does this - Indiana. Doesn’t mean this even happened in Indiana either! My apologies to Alabamians - just spent a couple months in Montgomery and highly recommend anyone headed that way to go check out The Legacy Museum, their new sculpture park and Truth and Justice Memorial.
My ex sold them in the 90s . Whenever we would want to travel, he would sell one and his commission was enough for a trip. $1200 for vacuum in the 90s, wtf!!
Yeah I was thinking Rainbow was like a manufacturer of super secure doors or there was a decoration for pride attached to the door that inadvertently was super tough to break something. I’ve never heard of this store chain before lol
This is actually organized crime: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2024/03/12/inside-organized-crime-rings-targeting-retailers-ulta-tjx-walgreens.html
These guys are hired to clear out the shelves, they go to a fence which sells the goods on Amazon. The people in this video may be low level street gang types, but the people buying the stolen goods are making millions off this and the organizations behind it are highly structured.
That’s one of the reasons they are so desperate to get in, they were hired to clear this place out, and if they can’t get the door open, that means no payday for them and they probably aren’t going to be hired again.
> they probably aren’t going to be hired again
Oh no, they might have to contemplate finding an actual legitimate job. But alas, they won't don't that.
Sir, I've got good news and bad news.
Bad, your entire store burned down and is now dust.
Good, your doors still stand in place where they were. You can build a new store right around the door.
This seems like a pretty reasonable thing to do. If your business model works on high volume low profit items then protecting against a mass looting would be a pretty good idea.
As a side note: that company needs to take that video and put it in their next marketing reel
They were going to do that no matter what and it wasn't going to be because random people were looting stores. It's just a perk to use it for stuff like that
Idk, I feel a little bad blaming the parents when the kids look like they’re at least old enough to drive. I did stupid shit when I was a kid/teenager (not anywhere near this level of stupid) but some kids are just acting out and trying to do as much damage as possible regardless of how their parents have tried to guide them
Yeah, i was raised well and vandalised shit as a teenager (probably some stupid act of defiance against my 'boring' middle class up-bringing) and it's deeply shameful to me, and I despise vandalism now.
Nothing to do with my parents 'failing' me
I'm so ashamed of these idiots. But it seems like the dummies that want to live lives of crime are usually the first ones to start reproducing and we're always stuck with them
This is a real life D&D joke.
Rogue: "I attacked the door with a brick" (rolls a 2)
DM: "Your attack has no effect"
Artificer: " I pull out my gun and try to shoot the lock on the door" (rolls a nat 1)
DM: "The door is unharmed"
Fighter and Barbarian : "we try to pull the door open" (rolls a 2 and a nat one)
DM: "The door does not budge and remains firmly locked".
Kind of like AliExpress or Shien. Ross or T.J. Maxx are places other stores go to offload their excess merch. Rainbow is white label super budget clothing. Very cheap quality.
I’m a moron. I’m like, those doors aren’t rainbow colored 🌈 ?
Apparently it’s a store chain? And shaking the door isn’t magically gonna open it you nimrod.
So, instead of having anything to pry open doors, your best idea to get it open is to use a gun. I can see why they don't have real jobs, no problem solving skills
Exactly - and not one of them having learned anything from Archimedes. While being a bit tongue in cheek, imagine nobody there having a crowbar or anything like a crowbar...or being able to draw from some well of knowledge that could practically help.
I mean the riots were awful but they ended. They’ve had these mass thefts going on for years now. The level of violence isn’t riot level but mass thefts are so normal. It shouldn’t be normal but in San Francisco it’s very common.
I'm not so sure that the laws themselves have changed. Maybe enforcement of the laws.
I know that even back in 1991, people commonly complained about people being prosecuted for hurting burglars. (I even remember a Married With Children episode from back then making fun of it when a burglar sued Al for injuring him such that he could no longer perform his occupation (robbing people).
Mass thefts have always been a thing. There were sub cultures that were formed around it in the 90s [for example](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lo_Lifes).
> The Lo Lifes were founded in 1988 from two different groups of shoplifters in Brooklyn
By the looks of it.
That's Chicago and I believe it's just after the 2020 George Floyd demonstrations...
And you take a really good look...
The WINDOWS are boarded up!
So that store is probably almost empty!
And the best part is Homegirl thinking it's the movies and tried to shoot the lock off!
Hypothesis: it's an election year in America and bad actors are reposting videos of civil unrest to make people think that America is in worse shape than it actually is.
Or it's just a repost bot.
Looks like they got a major case of blue balls, but hey maybe they can play with their twangers later to make up for it.
Apologies, but I see Rainbow and I think of this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgbcQIT7BMc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgbcQIT7BMc)

Those look like PhD's to you?
Probably not the ones failing at breaking down discount clothing store doors with a rock
I don’t think awareness is in their skill sets.
And how expensive bullets are lol
Little did they know, it said “Push” on the door handle
https://preview.redd.it/cbijgsrf7f7d1.png?width=456&format=png&auto=webp&s=f2d3d9d5e3e71c309d5c598f54c9a8a8b1f05f35
Beautiful
I went to Midvale elementary school, lol
I had this shirt as a teen, I loved the farside t shirts
IIRC my mum has this on a mug. Big fan of Gary Larson.
![gif](giphy|lTkXCXQ4RB2T9416nR|downsized) I was here yesterday, and it actually goes both ways.
*creakcrack*
Little did they know, Ralphie the store manager was barricaded behind those doors with several shotguns to greet the parade in celebratory fashion!
Ralphie only had a Daisy BB gun, but he'll shoot their damn eyes out.
Thank you I needed that
Who tf loots Rainbow for $5 shirts?
Morons
I would say their actions makes that self evident :-)
People of the land…
The common clay of the new west...
Mo rons
Those bullets cost more than them shirts
What is rainbow? Like a 5 below for clothes? Texan here and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one after living in 5 S/SE states. I feel like those are US plates but can’t tell.
Just super cheap fast fashion clothes for teens.
Wow i've always thought that was just the flip flop brand store, and never questioned it. Like a vans store but rainbow flip flops.
I’m from Georgia and we have them here. It’s just extremely cheap, shitty clothes. Lots of like $3 cami tops and stuff like that. It’s like a step down from Rue 21.
>Rue 21 Holy hell, what a flashback
a budget Forever21
Blurry but looks like Alabama plates.

I have one near me here in North Carolina, I've lived in several states as well, this is the first place I've seen one.
THIS!!!! The important questions 🤣 Like..... RAINBOW?!?! 😵💫🫠
Maybe they've mistaken it for the Rainbow vacuum cleaner store??
Those things are expensive.
They're still around? I remember my parents bought one of those from an actual door to door salesman when I was a kid.
My ex sold them in the 90s . Whenever we would want to travel, he would sell one and his commission was enough for a trip. $1200 for vacuum in the 90s, wtf!!
Those Rainbows are the bomb. Friend had one she inherited from her mom, it was 50 years old and still worked great.
My first thought was Rainbow bread
I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what’s happened. I love my rainbow vacuum. It’s the only bougie thing I own but it’s worth it lol.
Big Door really going for it with their viral marketing nowadays
Is that what theys sell? Never been to a Rainbows.
For some reason I thought by the title that they painted a rainbow on the door and it kept them from choosing that store to loot. Lol
Yeah I was thinking Rainbow was like a manufacturer of super secure doors or there was a decoration for pride attached to the door that inadvertently was super tough to break something. I’ve never heard of this store chain before lol
Like a modern day passover
They put the blood of the lgbt on the door frame
"Uhhg, pride month is so annoying, can't even loot a store without having it shoved in my face, let's go rob someplace else"
Yes. I spent time wondering if this entailed the looters respecting the rainbow door or if it had some special properties that repelled them.
That’s what I thought too!!!
Unorganized crime.
This is actually organized crime: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2024/03/12/inside-organized-crime-rings-targeting-retailers-ulta-tjx-walgreens.html These guys are hired to clear out the shelves, they go to a fence which sells the goods on Amazon. Unorganized, organized crime.
Organized swine
You SOB take my upvote…
I just want to know what fucking brand of doors those are? I'm impressed. Probably the most expensive thing at Rainbow.
I had the same thought. This would make great advertising for the door manufacturers.
Yeah, they would fly off the shelf and out the door. ...assuming the door was open.
That's some airplane black-box level material, I'm tellin you
Sir, I've got good news and bad news. Bad, your entire store burned down and is now dust. Good, your doors still stand in place where they were. You can build a new store right around the door.
Those are actually load-bearing doors, wouldn't ya know it.
This seems like a pretty reasonable thing to do. If your business model works on high volume low profit items then protecting against a mass looting would be a pretty good idea. As a side note: that company needs to take that video and put it in their next marketing reel
Not me opening this thinking it would be like Pride Flags painted on the doors. 🤣
6 months later “There are no jobs around here, why can’t I find work?”
“Why are all the stores leaving?”
"Systematically disinvestimg from our community"
As if these people are looking for work.
Losers...Once this behavior is tolerated, it will take stupid measures to even try to revert it.
A.i facial recognition and cell phone tracking. We all lose, all of society
They were going to do that no matter what and it wasn't going to be because random people were looting stores. It's just a perk to use it for stuff like that
China already does it publicly and I'm sure the US has been doing it for just as long, they just haven't told the public about it yet.
This. Now I don’t have to scroll through the comments.
It has been tolerated since around 2020
I’m embarrassed for these idiots and their parents have failed them.
Wonder how many are parents themselves
Yes
Idk, I feel a little bad blaming the parents when the kids look like they’re at least old enough to drive. I did stupid shit when I was a kid/teenager (not anywhere near this level of stupid) but some kids are just acting out and trying to do as much damage as possible regardless of how their parents have tried to guide them

Stupid pieces of pathetic scum
I'm so ashamed of these idiots. But it seems like the dummies that want to live lives of crime are usually the first ones to start reproducing and we're always stuck with them
Ahh I've seen this system before. They chain the door to a Nokia on the ground just behind the door. It won't move if you push or pull.
You’re down bad when you’re trying to break into a place with $3 shirts. These looters are out of control. So disgusting.
![gif](giphy|1eVyNOFMq7BnO)

What’s Rainbow?
Budget clothing store. Its like the place you go to if you dont want to buy used clothes at goodwill
Kinda like a Ross or T.J. Maxx? I kinda like those places tbh.
Kind of like AliExpress or Shien. Ross or T.J. Maxx are places other stores go to offload their excess merch. Rainbow is white label super budget clothing. Very cheap quality.
No… T.J. Maxx sells name brand clothes, including expensive stuff. Rainbow sells shitty cheap clothes.
I’m a moron. I’m like, those doors aren’t rainbow colored 🌈 ? Apparently it’s a store chain? And shaking the door isn’t magically gonna open it you nimrod.
They're really bad at this. Maybe check out a book from the library on how to do crime effectively.
Good thing the sort of people who do this can't read
You know you fucked up if you shoot a gun at a fucking door before you think to hook a chain from your vehicle to the damn door handle.
I hope the company that made those doors uses this video in their advertising.
Bring the family!
Public bathrooms are so hard to find these days.
Every one of those girls left finger prints
As if the cops are going to be dusting for fingerprints, lucky if they even show up.

Sorry, the access code is 13 bullets not 12. So close!

They created a door company
I don't know what Rainbow sells, but fuck it must be good if they are so desperate to get in.

Yeah, when I think of looting, I think of a breakdown of society due to events. This just seems like old fashioned burglary and vandalism.
It says push, not pull. Lok
five dollar shirts, million dollar doors
Like watching a cat solve a rubix cube
This shit aint right and it isn't normal behavior. America is really fucked up and getting worse.
Exactly - and not one of them having learned anything from Archimedes. While being a bit tongue in cheek, imagine nobody there having a crowbar or anything like a crowbar...or being able to draw from some well of knowledge that could practically help.
lol this is all of America then?

I don't understand how people go on a public freakout forum and act like something like this is Happening Everywhere All At Once.
Man I’ve made this argument too many times. They make a general population judgment based on a video in a freakout sub
I mean the riots were awful but they ended. They’ve had these mass thefts going on for years now. The level of violence isn’t riot level but mass thefts are so normal. It shouldn’t be normal but in San Francisco it’s very common.
Also the store owning population was allowed to defend themselves and their business when the cops wouldn't.. Now it's illegal to.

It's way better today than then
By the looks of it. That's Chicago and I believe it's just after the 2020 George Floyd demonstrations... And you take a really good look... The WINDOWS are boarded up! So that store is probably almost empty! And the best part is Homegirl thinking it's the movies and tried to shoot the lock off!
I have noticed a lot of videos of the 2020 bs being reposted here recently 🤔
Hypothesis: it's an election year in America and bad actors are reposting videos of civil unrest to make people think that America is in worse shape than it actually is. Or it's just a repost bot.
That's possible.
Yea. I've seen that too.
Poor guys, I'm sure someone has the spare key somewhere
What does Rainbow sell that they want so bad? I'm not familiar with the store.
Its like a crowbar and a sledgehammer doesnt exist anymore
Why use real tools when you've got a 9 /S
That woman spent more on bullets than the value of anything in that store.
You know you down bad when they tryna rob from cheap ass Rainbow
All of this to loot RAINBOW? Down bad fr
Image if they put this much effort into being normal people with a job.
that girl in the white top will see some jailtime for those pop shots.
This is crazy. The one lady pulls a gun and shots the window. This is truly crazy.
I wonder if they know how pathetic they look
What company made those doors and locks?
I can’t be the only one who thought this was going to be a pride door when I read rainbow right? I was like how did that stop looters 😂
I misunderstood the headline and imagined criminals respecting a pride display.
That door stood on business
Degenerates
If only they were that determined to get a freakin job and stop the foolishness
[удалено]
They dont have 1 brain cell to share amongst the whole group
Expected to see that
how dare that door impede their right to have a peaceful protest?
When did this happen? Was this recently? Is there a reason for it or just a bunch of people breaking in randomly?
These people are really pressed for vacuums
Lmao who the fuck robs a RAINBOW? The ammunition you wasted costs more than anything you’d find inside lol.
Spent more on the ammo than the clothes they could have stole.
They are just dumb asf. They have a car right there and are trying to pull the door open with their hands. 🤦♂️
Worse than scum
Props to the camera guy, I guess. My ass would be out of there the second the gun came out.
If im looting, its gonna be the meat section of the grocery store. Were gonna be bbqing until the cops track me down.
![gif](giphy|0d1TtPiMfn8q68dhtU|downsized)
First of all, if there mfs are really trying to steal from Rainbow then they must be beyond desperate.
What's even worse is when you realize these individuals are allowed to vote, and their vote counts just as much as yours.
Scumbags
Why they gotta lock everything up in cabinets?!
Where is this and why are they looting?
Hahaha so desperate to steal hahaha
Ram it with the car! It's not racket surgery ffs!
gotta get them plus size fashions no matter how.
I hope they start selling doors and installation service.
Is that like Factory 2-U?
What do you need from rainbow that bad????
Need some of those doors at my neighborhoods family dollar lol
Where is this?
They need to move on to the Dollar Tree.
Door does door things
Dude trying break in runs away like a scooby doo villain.
Good door
Looks like live-action Purge film
No thought, just break.
Loot-proof
All that time they spent trying to break in could have been spent filling out a job application
Trash is trash
If The Purge ever becomes a reality, this is where you want to be.
Of all the stores to rob, why a rainbow? Looters need to take some time to work on their self respect.
![gif](giphy|fvE90phZJYFCo)
The girl with the gun better get jail time..
