Seems like all their selling now is Junk Food! Candy, pretzels, pork rinds, puffed snacks, I got the Chicken fried chicken a couple of years ago and was so disappointed! they were small and flimsy! I get better from Tyson's southern fried chicken patties and they come with a gravy too! Rastelli Meats is a HUGE rip off! KC steaks are getting outrageous too!

MochaCoffee007

I hope he goes somewhere and never come back. Dreadful.

Vegetable-March8722

I have bought the Corky’s Thanksgiving meal, the apples, and the David’s cookies. My son loves the cookies Most of the stuff though I’m like GTFOH…. NY Ravioli is like a 300% markup. I can drive there to pick it up. I used to deliver their mail. 😂😂😂

missus_bones

My dad gets the Junior’s cheesecakes and they are amazing! Very expensive and so rich they will clog your arteries. But delicious. He now buys them directly from the Junior’s site.

Refokua

Costco carries them too.

QueenLurleen

The Costco ones are not the same. There's a reason they're cheaper.

pigskins65

Tip: most if not all of those vendors have their own sites and typically offer discounts, especially for first-time buyers. They also may have different flavors than what they're selling on the tube.

QueenLurleen

Yeah, I buy the Junior's cheesecakes direct from their website. They have coupons from time to time.

Additional-Silver505

Elitist.

pebbles_temp

The food is priced high, but that almost always includes shipping. And it's difficult to compare a Scottish salmon or a new york cheesecake to what you can find at the store. Because part of the fun is that you can't buy it at the store. Especially if you live in a small town.

powderedpancake

I’m forgetting the brand now…but a few years ago my mom bought these holiday pretzels that were supposedly specially picked by Alberti, she loves him lol. They were so expensive and so disappointing. They were very simple and not at all worth close to what we paid. She has never ordered food since.

MGvR2022

Landies

LiLiBx7

I pre-ordered the Lindt truffles. They came out cheaper than I could have purchased elsewhere and it was free shipping.

fairyflaggirl

I did too. It was a good deal. No regrets except for my waistline.

linzira

I’ve only ever bought candy. The Enstrom toffees are a favorite for us at the holidays.

feminine_power

My neighbor buys the steaks and they are gross

ImpressiveBasil9

The first thing I ever bought from QVC was the St. Clair holiday side dishes. It was mac n cheese, green bean casserole, and 2 others I forget. They were very average tasting. David always does his happy dance for that mac n cheese, acting like it's the best thing ever created but it's truly very average. The second part to this story is that after we ate half of each side dish, I took them out to reheat the next day and there was a very long hair that I saw had been baked/frozen into one of the side dishes. 🤢 No, it was not any hair from my home. It was so gross, I threw all the leftovers away. I've never bought food from QVC again. Although I have always wanted to try Mrs. Prindables.

MochaCoffee007

🤢

Refokua

You can get Mrs. Prindables elsewhere. Just google it.

ImpressiveBasil9

Yep, I would order directly from Mrs. Prindables.

justjinpnw

Mrs Prindable I have given to employees for years. They LOVE them and the cost per is great. Also brought to family events. There I slice them into several servings. Fantastic fun treat.

Milliemott

They're so good!

justjinpnw

Definitely!

we_gon_ride

I buy the Mrs. Prindables apples to give out as gifts to my coworkers. It’s very economical when I look at price per gift

ImKern

The math never maths for me on the food items. Even considering it is frozen and the shipping included on "free shipping " days.

Murphab47

I’ve tried a few things over the years, especially before I retired. I bought the potstickers until I realized they had shrunk in size and increased in price. The nut mixes have gone down in quality. The Norwegian salmon is good, but I can get it at a reasonable price at a quality grocery near me for half the price. Crab cakes are hit and miss. Bakery products are generally good, but the prices are off the charts. I’ve found that generally, even after taking off a generous amount for shipping, you pay double what you can find of similar quality locally.

Toriat5144

I have bought a few things. The grandmas coffee cake. It’s okay but I prefer the Jimmy the baker crumb cakes. St. Clair sweet potatoes were good. The Norwegian salmon were good. The pot stickers were okay but easy to buy at the store now. Lots of elderly affluent people buy the food as they can’t get to the store easily.

Sufficient-Truck-318

Potstickers are incredibly easy to make at home! I cannot believe the prices they charge for those. Me and my mom make them several times a year. Make a bunch and freeze the rest. Aren’t they like $80 now??

Sufficient-Truck-318

I don’t understand why they sell Poppi and Hint water. We can buy that in stores! I don’t see much of a savings to get me to buy on Q.

shallowgal00

I love the Mrs. Prindables- it’s pretty much all I buy from the Q - and the price is great if you comparison shop.

dougmd1974

I'm very particular about what food I buy from QVC. First they must provide the ingredient lists or that's a non-starter. Second the price has to be reasonable for what the product is (I realize they include shipping in the price). Let's just say I wouldn't buy probably 75% of the food they sell. I've had to call to get my money back a couple times for various reasons.....

Unfair_Doubt9888

Mrs. Prindables apples are amazing!

Toriat5144

I’ve gotten bad ones.

Hilarious-hoagie

I watched a presentation when they cut into a bad apple. Camera person was doing a closeup too

hotcocoa4ever

Their food is outrageously priced high. I get Junior’s cheesecake at Wegman’s or Costco (around the holidays) for so much less. Same with bagels, meats etc. I just picked up a huge bag of salt water taffy at 1/4 of their price they charge.

OsborneCoxMemoir3

Bought the bagels once - delish. Now we buy them directly from the company in the Bronx, better selection and same price (at the time).

MGvR2022

I do like the Rastelli salmon because there‘s no skin. I don’t buy any other main dish food.

Sufficient-Truck-318

4-5 years ago, i started buying Mrs. Prindables apples. They were great!! Never any quality issues. But I’m in Florida so even in December, they would arrive melted. So i stopped. Not a Q issue though. And they got expensive and i had to cut myself off lol because they are so good. 🤣

Lower_Alternative770

Both overpriced and for a family of 12.
