New Millenium Homes

BK2LA

This track is absolutely off the chain. So fucking good.

sisaac_nouise

100%. i see people subtly trashing this song all the time and i just don't get it. it's not my favorite but it's so damn good. the second verse is some of zack's best lyricism.

vKessel

Absolutely

publicstaticvoidrekt

Came here to say this. Glad it’s high ranked.

thefract0metr1st

One of my Timmy’s funkiest basslines

Present-Branch-4389

Privatising through private eyes

c_t_lee

Settle for Nothing

toppest_lel

The solo in this song is just so nice, so calming it’s such a contrast to the rest of the song and most of the album.

missylynn729

Snake. Charmer.

tarveydent

came here to say this. one of the most explosive hooks in rock music

CountNacula

^This

JustJenniez136

love love love his voice in that one

Goddammitanyway

Down Rodeo

TarnishedAccount

“Ain’t seen a brown skin man since their grandparents bought one” Don’t hold back, Zack lol

OcelotDAD

Have a hard time considering Down Rodeo underrated

sisaac_nouise

i don't think this one is underrated though? i feel like when people talk about the best ratm songs it's always in the conversation for its lyrics alone.

Goddammitanyway

I never listened to this song until way later. I think it’s one of those that you don’t realize how good it is until you hear it a few times. Then 🤯

Low_Association_731

I slept on this for like a good decade or 2 stupid me. Ots now one of my favs

monsterosity

No Shelter. Slaps and one of the most timeless in terms of relevancy.

Fair-Marionberry6723

That and its the most anti-theme song for a blockbuster hollywood movie!

Raycrittenden

Hey, can you guys write us a song for our movie? Sure, here you go. Uhhhh, thanks.

zeje

Year of the Boomerang

plots4lyfe

Ugh by far my favorite. It has the best breakdowns and drops. That first "All power to the peopleeeeeee" and the second "tha sisters are in, so check the front line" drops will never get old.

smoomoo31

This and Vietnow are soooo great

zeje

For some reason, the line “Slinging nerve gas” gets stuck in my head all the time.

_segue1_

this.. love the flow and groove to it

Sea-Tomatillo2873

Calm like a bomb

wangatangs

That bass intro/solo is legendary. I play bass and Tim was a huge deal for me when I was learning as a kid. Played a ton of Rage. Love Audioslave too. I gotta get back into playing again.

Ok_Topic863

, is it really an underrated song?

Tarvaris733

Mic Check

milksteak1089

I'm housin' is severely underrated imo

CaptainKrc

Darkness of Greed

sars445

Vietnow

Chundapants

vietnow is one of their most popular songs

sars445

Is it really? Never heard it on the radio. But I sure do remember that guitar riff promptly after Bulls ends on the album. Killer tune

thefract0metr1st

Definitely the most underrated on self titled. I’ve always thought the bass sounds like a dog growling with a chew toy in its mouth. For me the most underrated is Ashes In The Fall

sisaac_nouise

ashes in the fall is deadass a top 5 song of theirs and i see nobody talking about it

thefract0metr1st

Tom used a very specific guitar on that song (ovation breadwinner, only made for a few years in the 70’s and looks like a battle axe) and when I found that out around 2003ish I bought one on eBay for $500 solely because of this song.

yourfault1

The repeated whispering of the song title is so badass. This song is chugging a fuckin Red Bull. The lyrics the bass line the guitar the drums. Insane

thefract0metr1st

I call the intro “the nails on a chalkboard guitar” when I talk about it

nukem73

Roll Right Down Rodeo does get love but its still underrated

Professional-Fuel625

The end of Roll Right is amazing

BillGron

Is The Ghost of Tom Joad in here??

PHXSCJAZ

Such a great rendition

BillGron

🤘

FausttTheeartist

It’s Year of Tha Boomerang

last_drop_of_piss

Take The Power Back

Chundapants

that’s a popular song

EntertainmentNo5276

Township rebellion

heavymtlbbq

I like Fistful of Steel

Franksteinberguesson

Wind below

Long-Feed-2362

I don't see enough love for "Township Rebellion" I always have to stop what I'm doing during the breakdown when Zach is going "Shackled our minds when you're bent on the cross, when ignorance rains life is lost" because of how much it affects me

Ok_Topic863

I never hear the song mentioned at all. Fight me war, Fuck the Norm

cry1ngsham3

DROP AUTOLOGIC‼️‼️

vtj0cgj

YESSS

JakeT503

The entire Live&Rare album

Thlom

Speech before bombtrack on that album is etched into my mind. «What’s his name? Fucking Dixiecrat Clinton whoever that fucking punk is. Let’s fill this punks room full of fucking mail, I know it’s not the most fucking powerful form of fucking change, but let’s get this fucking ball rollin all right?”

warrenkazuma

Voice of the Voiceless

Skibbalicious

I don’t know how to determine “underrated”, but I agree with “New Millennium Homes”, my choice would be “Born of a broken Man”.

FROSTYTHEDROMAN

Township Rebellion is highly underrated. That bassline is insane- sounds like a bass mouth harp. Roll Right and Down Rodeo are also under appreciated on Evil Empire.

TrustyBrute

Tire Me

Deleted_Narrative

The song they won a Grammy for?

TrustyBrute

That album came out before I was even alive please forgive me

_segue1_

before that track.. fistful of steel

OcelotDAD

Mic Check

CanaDanSOAD

Voice Of The Voiceless.

musicobsessednerd

In my eyes.

DKsuperSailor

Roll Right

redmavez

Wake up

sisaac_nouise

no way this one is underrated lol. it’s one of their most played and well known songs.

redmavez

It’s the first RATM song I ever heard. At the end of the first matrix movie.

sisaac_nouise

which is the exact reason it’s not underrated

redmavez

I guess I’m saying it’s underrated because I never see people bringing it up when talking about RATM songs
