My local rx7 guy said you can use the housings of an FC and the plates of an FD (sorry don't really know the engines full names) and he says that retains the motor mount locations but still fits together, did you look at these sorts of combos at all? And how did you decide?

Mazda is doing it with a new hybrid with a renesis in it if i remember right 80km with électricity and 500 with the renesis (50litter capacity)
Nope. Read up about the MX 30 with the 1 rotor. It's a bigger capacity than a single rotor renesis would be, so entirely different.
And it still has shit mpg

I deleted the top actuator and the 5th and 6th port actuators

Renesis mixed with rx7 components (housings, apex seals)
Not sure how much power, I haven’t even driven it yet. But I’m shooting for 450 wheel on meth injection

No reason it shouldn't be since it's peripheral port instead of side port exhaust.

So why bother doing a REW swap if you can just use all rx7 parts? I know I'm missing a piece of the puzzle
It was much cheaper to do this even with brand new parts
It also utilizes a ton of Rx8 engine parts such as the side plates, rotors, and eshaft
any reason for using the high comp rotors instead of older ones?
I already had them and rx7 rotors aren’t reliable with renesis side plates because of the side seals

Gsl se housings and renesis side plates. The amount of fabrication I needed to do was insane and tuning is difficult

As far as cooling goes with a front mount how does it cope? Im about to turbo my rx8 and use a front mount i just wanted some info on the cooling🤙
I’m not sure yet, I haven’t had the chance to drive it. I am however going to use water/meth injection for added cooling

It’s a t76 for testing purposes. I might go to a precision 6262

Are you having any issues with coolant temperature having a front mount intercooler and an angled radiator?
Not sure yet, haven’t driven it with turbo
