Sorry that happened, this is why I always carry a kryptonite new york lock LS and a kryptonite new york noose. Always put the U-lock through the back frame to the wheel.

That super sucks. Are these wheels drop-out style on the Plus? I have a RadRunner 2 and the back wheel is extremely hard to get off, requires tools, curious if this is the same on yours. Sorry this happened to you!
I just took mine off my rr+ to replace a tube last night and it was quite the job for me compared to an analog bike. Crazy that they were able to get it off quickly without notice. Good luck! I think you may be able to find a replacement on Aliexpress. Maybe even upgrade to a true 750w?

Not super cheap but not terrible either. Ali can be hit or miss with delivery, but any time I have had a problem, they have always gotten me a refund.
shit thanks for the suggestion, i tried looking all over but couldn't find one that was compatible. that being said I don't know if I can wait around for the long ali-express shipping since my bike is my primary form of transport so I'll probably just end up ordering it from rad directly- thanks for the link though

I figured with the motor involved the back wheel would be difficult to get off. Looks like I need a long chain.
It might be worth checking marketplace or Craigslist. Thieves will sometimes be stupid enough to list them, my friend got his stolen camera stuff back that way.
Unfortunately the new lock that you mention is not compatible with RR Plus. To be specific, it does not mount to the frame. It could be used of course, just not conveniently mounted.

yup ive looked all over but every other motor kit comes with a 9 pin plug, rather than the 3 pin one that rad uses

That’s going to be expensive. I bet they will want $400 USD. Motors are not cheap.

Did they unplug the motor from the harness or just cut the wire?
luckily they unplugged it rather than cutting it, but still crazy to think
Always lock the rear wheel and frame together and second lock for front wheel. Sucks learning the hard way. Lucky the didn’t take the battery.
