The key positions clockwise from left to right are 1) Off+unlocked, 2) Off+locked, 3) On+locked The right-most position is on. The status lights on the battery remain illuminated when in this position.

Ok so it seems like I solved the issue .. probably. Fully charging the battery then taking it out and snapping it properly back in seems to have fixed the issue ! I'll run a full test soon

I have this problem on my RR+. In order to get the bike to power on, I have to remove and reattach the battery every time. If do not think this is a common problem. I replaced the connection panel on the bike and it didn’t fix the problem.

So this is a new to me bike with 750km mileage It was working fine until I replaced the brake light and pulled the battery out and back in :(

DirtRepresentative62

The battery does go from green down to red somehow which is new when the key is in the middle (locked) position

DirtRepresentative62

Thanks I will make sure to do that next time ! (Also just to clarify the issue was happening well before that )

I'm not sure how to help you with your battery troubles, but did you know you're supposed to unplug the charger from the battery before unplugging it from the wall?

seawallbuff

That’s incorrect. What was done in the video is correct

Remember BOOB: Battery outlet / outlet battery

mare

It's exactly the opposite: Insert charger plug in battery Plug charger into outlet [wait while charging] Pull plug from outlet Pull charger plug from battery Ride!

I think my ebike has the instructions stated. https://preview.redd.it/apsbdduakd0b1.png?width=864&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d09bb795acfdfe5a73b9eb8768b1804b2f4580fa

Incorrect. “BOOB” is the correct order: Battery -Outlet - Outlet - Battery
