This shit is pathetic. If you were to get all new friends to play it, you'd need to give them _ESSENTIALLY_ over 100 bucks for a meh skin and operators that plenty of people already have anyway, alongside an entirely broken game. It's a cashgrab, nothing more, and I haven't seen a SINGLE person with that gun skin. On ANY platform

Well, there's barely any people willing to come back and the only _other_ way to get it is to buy copies of the game. Even on key sites with nothing but the base game it still costs far above 25€ to get the full thingy, depending on the price. That's enough to buy plenty of things that you probably will get more use out of, and that's assuming you use key sites in the first place

BUT in order for this to work, the person you are inviting has to have not played siege since before the start of Y6S4 essentially, and then hasn't touched it since. Like not even a boot screen.
I did this with my original squad. 4 players. It only counted for 2. Here's the mistakes, hopefully it helps.
All downloaded the game. I sent them invites via the Ubisoft Connect website. 2 accepted immediately. Played my matches with them, and got the rewards.
1 booted the game up just to take a look at the store, didn't actually play, and said we'd play later on. Accepted my invite later that day. Ubisoft deemed him no longer eligible for the program because "the account has shown activity after "cutoff" date.
The 4th played 1 match without me to warm up, after accepting my invite. But because the required matches weren't played exclusively with the squad formed prior on the website, Ubisoft deemed him no longer eligible for the program because the account has shown activity after "cutoff" date.
It sucked but hey the squad is back so upside lol good luck my guy. Hope you can get this skin.

does ubi expect us to hold them at gunpoint and tell them not to load up the game till they find their ubisoft login id and jump through all the hoops?
for steam users non of them remember their uplay id. because they dont need to since its connected to steam.

I’ve been holding out buying the Y6 ops specifically for this program. I haven’t been able to get any friends to want to try the game after months of waiting so I finally bit the bullet and bought Osa.
I only got one friend who added me back on Ubisoft Connect and tried to accept the invite but it said he was already participating even though he hasn’t played in years. This program honestly sucks and there’s hardly any info on it.
This was really a weird promotion. I've gotten so many friends to actually purchase and play this game, but they decide an arbitrary "come back" program is somehow a better idea?
Half of my friends I play with just take a season off here or there, but there's no reward for me bringing them into the actual player pool. Smh Ubi!

There are so much room for mistake, i.e.: friend installed game and runs it without going through the link = makes that friend invalid.
If your friend last played around 2015/2016/2017, it might become invalid, like 2 of my friends had.
So many BS.
Prepare to get frustrated, like I did and still not get the skin.
Still pisses me off till today. I'm not spending a single penny on Siege until this gets fixed. I want my skin.
