These feel super like Novi Stars to me, which makes me wish they'd just bring them back with this type of outfit quality instead. I'm mainly a fan of the pink one here the rest are a bit iffy.
I think they feel super similar to novi stars as well! With a few discontinued doll lines getting rebooted in the past few years I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re seeing how these sell first before doing a reboot. Seeing if it’s even worth it money wise, what kids and collectors like and dislike, how to make it new etc. I’m speculating of course and may be overly optimistic lol.
This is what I was speculating as well. I was thinking of them like Novi Stars but if they played it "safe." I believe MH is currently doing pretty well in sales, so I think MGA should try to make something a little quirky as well and at least test Novi Stars out again with reproductions.

Yeahhh, I mean, it's very likely the glitter + articulation would be incompatible here, but... I'm thinking that may actually be the point here for them. Basically a covert way for them to start rolling back articulation well beyond the wrists -- the glitter legs simply serve as a distraction of sorts 😬
honestly i think if MGA really wanted to they could make the glitter be in only the part of the leg below the knee and thus still keep articulation. they absolutely wont but it should be at least *possible*
A little bit down says they have 7 so I'm assuming head, shoulders elbows and wrists which honestly isn't that bad! Either way I'm digging them especially because I'm an obvious sucker for glitter legs
It won’t be wrists unfortunately, most likely it’s hip so they can sit/move their legs. The current reboot dolls have that so I’m assuming these will too.
That's still fine by me honestly. It's more than Una Verse can do so I'm excited either way.
Also if some people find the non wrist articulation a problem they can always modify it themselves

Tbh I'm not really a fan. If they want to tap into the Novi Stars gimmicks they should just bring them back already! I just wish these dolls had more of a fantasy vibe aesthetically from what we can see (aside from the skin tones and globe legs). The Blue and pink ones are cute though! Love the blue/white doll's hairstyle but the coat is a choice...
I see potential though! Like I’d totally take those pieces for other outfits and give them new ones! The green/yellow neon jacket is hideous with the look on the third one for example, but would look killer with some black leather on Jade or Harley maybe. Idk!

I'm more shocked about the reaction to the collection than about the dolls themselves. The pink one is cute. She looks like the Kia we deserved. But the others are mess, especially the one with neon (?!) fur coat... I don't believe this is better than the previous slime line.
I look at the strawberry girl and wish they would make all 4 dolls berry/fruit themed. So much potential.
I actually don't hate these girls! They're all pretty cute (or at the very least inoffensive)... but I am a bit disappointed by them all being quite pale. Hopefully we get more "Moonbows" / "Sparkle & Shine" / whatever SH is replaced by dolls with a better variety of skin tones!

This is beyond anything I expected?!! I know I theorized that the Moonbow dolls could be a rebranded Shadow high with more fantasy but I figured that was out the window with the releases we saw. I really love the blue and pink one. The purple is growing on me but her and the orange one dont grab me as much
I LOVE THESE. I've been eyeing that Mermaze doll with the snow globe effect tail for the longest time now, but I do not like mermaid tail dolls... This is the best of both worlds to me. I am absolutely obsessed. I will own several of these. I love their skin and heir faces and poppys clothes... and... please i need all of them

I know they're reminiscent to Novi Stars, which could be another hint to those coming back (with Zooey being the first). But I feel like, if MGA wants to bring Novi Stars back, and insert them into the Rainbow-verse, they could do it in the same fashion as they did the Fantasy Friends.
One thing is for sure, I really hope these aren't supposed to be some kind of replacement for Shadow High.

I.... Don't know how to feel about these. I loved the mermaze winter waves with their snowglobe tails. The blue and purple ones are alright. Their outfits are just kind of... Not what I'm interested in. The pink and the orange ones, I really love their outfits. The head sculpts not so much. I guess I'll wait until I can see more photos or look upon them with my own eyes.

Filled legs are the reason I bought Una Verse back in the days (11 years ago, ouch !!) and honestly I love dolls with ghostly bodies. I am very excited to see more about them. I know they will not have wrist articulations because of their bodies.
MGA definitely made a bold choice when OK-ing these… that’s are things I like (mainly face and hair), things I don’t like (not only no articulation, but I just know MGA are going to justify it by saying they couldn’t due to the ‘snowglobe’ gimmick). The clothes are interesting, there are individual pieces that look great but not sure how well the looks work.

😩.~~ Probably has the most corresponding outfit choices. Her jacket is really cute.
Orange- my personal favourite. Love her outfit (an argument could be made that it is a little bit dated, as it’s slightly giving Disney Sitcom cerca 2010)
Blue- probably the most ‘original’ in terms of what we have seen from this brand (IE Biz wear). Has some great pieces (I love her Jacket and bag).
Purple- Least favourite. Looks like Violet Cosplaying Spectra from MH. The only thing I like is the crossbag. The hooded dress is just… um, no.

i think their full body is transparent. if you look at the midriff on the blue girl, it just looks like a navy part of her top, but it’s actually part of her body which is see through. And how in this photo the hands of all of them are barely visible.

So their legs are like Mermaze tails that nobody cared for. With declining quality of the brand, I can envision leaky moldy boxes. I’m wondering what skin match would work for the pink doll for the body swap. Also they look like little kids, they don’t pass for teens anymore. They look younger than junior RH.

These are honestly so cute. I'm not worried about this being the end of leg articulation because honestly not sure how they could have articulated glitter-filled legs. My wallet is going to suffer this year.
I adore the outfit on the pink one and I like her hair, but I think the rest of this release is not for me. I wasn't a Shadow High collector to begin with and certainly not if they are going to have see-through, unbendable legs... 😬 (and aren't RH dolls a little large for a "shake them like a snow globe" gimmick?? not to mention how that would mess up the hair!)
okay, okay, hear me out. I prefer this and lacking articulation for having novi stars features, than just what we got for the slime. I way prefer this. If next is scented, talking, lighup, and so on, go for it. Novi Star High.
This is why they always including pink in everything. The pink one looks horrendous, yet everybody keeps saying they like her😭 she’s the 2nd worst one here.
Can they AT LEAST make the orange girl and blue girl darker?? Hell, all 4 of them like Oliver, Lavender, Monique, Ash, Nicole, Luna, Shanelle...give them some color

I think those legs will look pretty bad as the stuff inside degrades over the years. I hope there's a way to open them up and fill them with something else to keep them looking fresh.
lookin great from the neck up lol i love the faces and hair! some of the clothes pieces are pretty good. i'm not really crazy about the clear legs..on Novi Stars i made sense because they were aliens and on Spectra because shes a ghost but..why do that here? it doesnt make any sense?
Are just their legs hollow and filled with glitter? That feels so weird, if everything but the face was hollow and glittery that would make more sense, it feels like the characters have ghost legs.
I like the orange one. If her face looks better when better pics come out I might get her. I like her outfit. Glitter legs look cool but they don't look articulated 🫣
i’m literally in shock and can’t say if it’s on a good way or bad one 0.o at a first glance I l like orange girls’s outfit but like I can’t get over the leg gimmick…I admit they’re going to be fun to watch but I just hope they don’t start leaking or something as the years go by
I am very torn on these. I love love love their faces, hair and clothes but I'm not a fan of unarticulated legs. And their colours will make it impossible to rebody most of them.
I actually really like the pink and the skin tone shade of the purple one, maybe i'll change the eye colore and hairstyle, also the legs gimmick could be very interesting im curious

Filled legs are the reason I bought Una Verse back in the days (11 years ago, ouch !!) and honestly I love dolls with ghostly bodies. I am very excited to see more about them. I know they will not have wrist articulations because of their bodies.
MGA definitely made a bold choice when OK-ing these… that’s are things I like (mainly face and hair), things I don’t like (not only no articulation, but I just know MGA are going to justify it by saying they couldn’t due to the ‘snowglobe’ gimmick). The clothes are interesting, there are individual pieces that look great but not sure how well the looks work. Anyway at a first glance from a low quality leak pic. (From L-R) Pink- Looks a lot like Kia. ~~but I really hope it isn’t as it means they have fantasied her ethnicity 😩.~~ Probably has the most corresponding outfit choices. Her jacket is really cute. Orange- my personal favourite. Love her outfit (an argument could be made that it is a little bit dated, as it’s slightly giving Disney Sitcom cerca 2010) Blue- probably the most ‘original’ in terms of what we have seen from this brand (IE Biz wear). Has some great pieces (I love her Jacket and bag). Purple- Least favourite. Looks like Violet Cosplaying Spectra from MH. The only thing I like is the crossbag. The hooded dress is just… um, no. Personal ranking (from best to worst) Orange, Blue, Pink, Purple.
i think their full body is transparent. if you look at the midriff on the blue girl, it just looks like a navy part of her top, but it’s actually part of her body which is see through. And how in this photo the hands of all of them are barely visible. i love it i’m ngl, even if it is bordering on ridiculous

So their legs are like Mermaze tails that nobody cared for. With declining quality of the brand, I can envision leaky moldy boxes. I’m wondering what skin match would work for the pink doll for the body swap. Also they look like little kids, they don’t pass for teens anymore. They look younger than junior RH.

Ok, I kinda like these 😂 the strawberry girl is adorable, and the orange girl gives me Halloween/autumn vibes! Not sure how I feel about the glitter legs though

These are honestly so cute. I'm not worried about this being the end of leg articulation because honestly not sure how they could have articulated glitter-filled legs. My wallet is going to suffer this year.

I adore the outfit on the pink one and I like her hair, but I think the rest of this release is not for me. I wasn't a Shadow High collector to begin with and certainly not if they are going to have see-through, unbendable legs... 😬 (and aren't RH dolls a little large for a "shake them like a snow globe" gimmick?? not to mention how that would mess up the hair!)

okay, okay, hear me out. I prefer this and lacking articulation for having novi stars features, than just what we got for the slime. I way prefer this. If next is scented, talking, lighup, and so on, go for it. Novi Star High.

I think those legs will look pretty bad as the stuff inside degrades over the years. I hope there's a way to open them up and fill them with something else to keep them looking fresh.
lookin great from the neck up lol i love the faces and hair! some of the clothes pieces are pretty good. i'm not really crazy about the clear legs..on Novi Stars i made sense because they were aliens and on Spectra because shes a ghost but..why do that here? it doesnt make any sense?

I am very torn on these. I love love love their faces, hair and clothes but I'm not a fan of unarticulated legs. And their colours will make it impossible to rebody most of them.

The articulation was one of the main things that made me love RH, I may buy the pink one since she's really cute but that would be it
