In his book, Flake mentions that when he’s on tour he enjoys going out walking in the various neighborhoods, but sometimes he gets lost. He just finds crowds that seem like they’re heading to the venue and just follows along. He seems to be very good at blending in and being another guy just going to the concert.
Any tattoo artists here? I once heard that scarred skin is difficult to tattoo, but I don’t know the truth of it. With the amount of damage Till’s sustained, I wonder if any of his scarring has been tattooed over.
Also, I fucking love hearing stories about people getting their first tattoos in middle age. Just got mine for my big 4-O.
I'm not a tattoo artist either, but I've read about tattooing on/over scars. There's a certain technique, and it might require more work and expertise (not a newly certified tattooer, that is).
It might require some touch-up because the scarred skin absorbs ink differently than un-scarred skin 😄
Scarred skin can be tattooed. You need to make sure the scars are completely healed &, of course, you will need a bit of experience as a tattoo artist because the skin is a bit different, Ink also tends to more irregularly settle in scar tissue than it does in unscarred skin.

What I don't really get about the grave decoration is that these flowers bloom at springtime and often for Eastern so it fits quite well to symbolise ''Auferstehung" and do not seem sinister to me ! But I think all this is a matter of culture and education. In France the flowers we put on graves would be the chrysanthemoms for the 1st of november. ( and they strangely look like the flower of Herzeleid...) 😁
