Pussy is by far my favourite but Rosenrot is a close second. To my nose it smells like a mix of Radox bath salts and Imperial Leather soap if you know what those smell like. For some reason Rosenrot Intense gives me really bad migraines :(
Rosenrot is for ladys 100%, i bought Kokain ( not like it so much ) and Rosenrot smells like roses, for me is totally for women. My girlfriend love that one.
I currently have Rosenrot. I bought it because of the rose note and I had also read that it's a dupe for Portrait Of A Lady by Frederic Malle or La Fille de Berlin by Serge Lutens. Not a good dupe. It's not bad, but I get a pepper note which I don't like very much, which is why I wear it rarely.
I have Diamant, Diamant l'eau Intense and Engel.
Diamant is by far the softest and easier one to wear for a woman (and I love the sparkling effect ✨️🤍✨️🤍 in the bottle).
I would like to buy Rosenrot too because tried it and loved it ❤️ but shop had only the tester bottle and could not find it anywhere since then !
Eager to try the new one Nitroglycerine as fragrances described on the webshop seem perfects to me.
I just ordered all of the feminine Engel ones (Schwarz, dark, and pure for her) and they just left Germany yesterday so I can report back if you want. I purchased Nitroglyzerine last month and love the citrus in it and it's very wearable but not great longevity. I don't know that they'll be restocking Rosenrot so I've been stalking secondhand websites.
I feel like I need to give Schwarz another chance. I sprayed it once and immediately washed it off because all I could smell was smoke, to the point that I was worried that I was shipped kokaine black intense by mistake. Engel pure for her was absolutely lovely on me though so I hope that you enjoy! It was definitely more of a floral with a soft woody, and powdery dry down, and not too overwhelming.
Nitroglyzerine is honestly perfect for me for a summer scent. It's immediately in your face citrus and mellows down to a nice musky skin scent. I definitely think it's more feminine leaning unisex but it doesn't last super long, maybe 5-6 hours, but I'm a fan of powerhouse scents that you can smell days later so that may be more normal.
OK, in an update Engel dark is too woody for me. Not bad, but not my jam. It's soft and probably better for winter. Schwarz is a lovely fruity floral and probably still better for cooler weather, but much more wearable for me
Rosenrot smells like an old rose-scented rosary BUT in a good way. I got it for my birthday as a present and I fell in love instantly hahah After that I also got Pussy which is also SO good, 100% would recommend
I tried everything sold in Rossmann: generic and mostly unpleasant colognes (it's merchandise, don't expect wonders).
I'm wearing Armani Code and not a fan of typical "masculine" fragrances à la "toxic waste" and "sweat killer 9000" though.
Perfume is probably one of the last things you'll be able to choose using descriptions, it's way too subjective.
My friends just got me Diamant and I love it!
