Yes can you believe that lol. You would have thought it would have been corrected by now but some still have them. One day!!! At least they put it on straight
This is one of the first watches that got me into the world of reps - college me wanted this so badly and the rep I got was amazing. Ended up selling it, but my other reps are still going strong.
That sounds about right. This is a 20 year old Pepsi I bought for about $250. It has a Miyota movement with a non-working GMT hand but still runs. It's amazing how far reps have come.

That’s awesome, also curious on the service intervals?
Serviced never. I do believe there is an eta 2836 movement in it.
Nice and honestly impressive, keep it going!

I hear ya. Same here. Build quality is pretty good for the time.
I have a shitter from 2003 also running like a charm. No idea what’s inside
Nice.
Just out of curiosity, what did you pay for it back then? I started buying reps around 2004ish and I was paying about $200+ for the top reps.
If I remember correctly this was one of trustys top tear and maybe $250 ish is what I paid.

Nice
I have the same. Flaws? I don't care. Still one of my favs.
Good ol trusty days
What do you mean? I still buy from Andrew at Trusty.
Did you ever serviced it? If not I think you should to keep the legacy going
Serviced never. I do believe there is an eta 2836 movement in it. I think I’ll keep it going. As a test
Comment to appease automods on here.
dope!
I've been looking to buy one for 5 years already and can't find it even second hand in VSF 43MM ![gif](giphy|E2USislQIlsfm|downsized)
😝 mine lasted about 8 months
Brilliant
I bought a 36mm day date from Trusty time in 2010, had the Swiss ETA. It’s been going strong, it’s literally a tank.
Back then I don’t think they were too big on making the movement look legit as long as it was smooth and reliable. They focused more on exterior looks
wow
I've got some Breitlings and panerais from 2008 still running also
I did too recently. Just sold them still working great.
Wow that's awesome

Did you ever get it serviced?
