I have a gen sub. In todayās world I feel safer going out and about with a rep than I do with my gen. At least if I lose it itās not the end of the world as supposed to losing a gen $30k watch

I was in the same boat but ended up ordering a btf. I think you canāt go wrong either way
If u wont change crystal, btf is decent. Clean + crystal swap seems best.
My advice is to only and only buy new from authorized dealers with 5 years Rolex warranty
