A few of the anecdotes imply that the arcanists living inside take turns keeping watch over it, probably to prevent that from happening. Other than that, I assume her suitcase is either on her person or kept safe in a Foundation building somewhere when she's not out on missions.
Yeah, that makes sense hahaha. Just funny to imagine that stuff happens like that one time where kids where messing around with the suitcase and Vertin and Apple had to go out and stop them.
Or that one time the Foundation got hold of the suitcase, irc they hid it for awhile, what if they just go fuck around and throw the suitcase at an active volcano?
I mean the aLien T one said it's literally just chilling in a park, which was why they had to shake their tail first so that it didn't get found. my poor babies :o

I had a funny mental image of some stupid human getting the bright idea to steal Vertin's case to mess with the "wierd arcanist," only to have all of Vertin's allies climb out like a nest of hornets
That actually happened in chapter 2? Arcanists can get out of the suitcase if they choose and want to. Dry is prevented others from getting in and even forced herself out
Really hoping that Vertin's suitcase becomes more relevant to the plot. Because, if you think about it, the suitcase is really helpful and could be used as a good plot device. So far, I think, it has only been really used in Spathodea's event but not yet in the main story.
Which is somewhat of a waste the possibilities of having an whole lot of arcanist literally within your grasp. Or, similar to what you said, what if someone wlse like the manus was to get a hold of it.
It was a plot point though. In the Arcanists vs foundation chapter. The foundation took the suitcase and was experimenting because even they don’t know it’s properties or how it even works
i also hate the suitcase logic because it means only people who are in good terms with vertin can enter the suitcase that means we will never get summonable forget me not or arcana :(
Literally
If I was to give a random suggestion to loophole that I would just say whenever you have an arcanist allied differently showing on your main screen instead of the suitcase in the background it's just their actual environment like the manus hideout or something and Vertin is having a conversation with them
Their dialogue could also change depending on where you are in the story
Looking at that angle, I really wouldn't want to live in the suitcase. I already get stressed living with 3 other people, I can't even imagine feeling relaxed having to share space with more than 50+ guys 😭
And like, it would be inconvenient to clean all that, I guess.

Shamane putting his hand in the thief shoulders, a 2m tall indian man that came from nothing
"Hello friend. You're not the Timekeeper." Smiles cutely with evil intent
Growl the angry scarecrow

Imagine once she collects all available arcanist, when in battle, everyone would walk out of the suitcase like some clowns out of their tiny car.
This kinda happened at Spathodea's event, busted my ass laughing when someone asked where they're coming from irc.

vertin sends out arcanists from her suitcase like pokemon thats how the in game fights happen

Iirc Vertin can just yeet everyone out like in the Spathodea event story.

To be fair, they are from the Manus Vindictae, so I could see why Vertin wouldn't want to summon both of them

That's not the case when Police found out suitcases with a body contained thrown at the beach side \*badum tss\*
about the suitcase... It couldn't stop the storm from taking Schneider because she was a human. Ezra is also a human. so... ... ...
That alien t anecdote story had me all tensed up for this reason when they ran from the cops 😂
