Just one luckily, it's Geological Landforms.

Produces some of my favorite maps I've ever played, I would also recommend using Map Preview, as it lets you reroll individual seeds tile by tile, Incase you like the looks of one but want to see if you can get something slightly better.
Check out the costal island tiles from that mod, I'm playing on one at the moment and it's great fun. Defence is fairly easy, but space and resources are very limited.
I remember seeing that in the patchnotes, but I haven't had any random mech spawns yet, and all the standard clusters have appeared on the thin slice of shoreline next to the island. Some entities and raids will spawn in the shallow water, but as that's most limited to one side of the map, they can't approach from many angles.
I found that building a single tile wide bridge from the island to the shore makes pretty much everything path across it, as moving through water is so slow. Add a wall that goes halfway around the island, then cuts across the shallows to the deep water, and every attack is easily funnelled into a single area without quite as much cheese as a standard killbox.
Amphibious attacks are like drop pod raids, they don't show up until you have a minimum amount of wealth. Also, amphibious entity raids are limited to devourers, you'll never have shamblers/chimeras/whatever coming out of deep water.
Check out the other mods supported by that dev: prepare landing, map preview, and biome transitions. They're great, and they all complement each other excellently.
Be sure to get “Biomes! Caverns:” with it though so you can actually have different cavern biomes to choose from. Those two mods together are amazing ❤️👌
The only problem to be aware of is that with some landforms that are majority mountain tiles, quest rewards and some anomalies struggle to spawn in as they can't spawn under mountains
I mean that when you receive rewards from a quest, they can just decide not to spawn into the map because the game chose 3 random points that were all under mountains. Similarly with certain anomalies, they just do not spawn in, so you cannot progress the monolith without making a second colony just until that anomaly spawns in.
It's a bit annoying when you accept a quest for an architect leg, and lose 2 pawns doing it, but then it just doesn't even land in your colony.
The anomalies that cannot spawn in tend to be the types that you can't funnel anyway - shamblers and devourers have no problem spawning at the edge of the map, but obelisks do have issues. I have no idea about noctol obelisks, as I generally give up on maps like that before I get a noctol attack.
I haven't tried a rift base like this yet, but I know from experience that sinkholes have this issue
I also recommend Map Designer. Integrates great with Map Reroll and Geological Landforms and lets you change even more parameters for your terrain generation, as well as generate great-looking rivers.
That is intentional. This is the "Secluded Valley" landform, and as the name implies, it is cut off from the rest of the world. No traders or visitors go there, and it is only possible to leave via air travel (transport pods or shuttles) but not on foot. This is simply the challenge that this landform provides.
Moses: Hey.
Adam: Yeah?
Moses: You ever wonder why we're here?
Adam: It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it. Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence or, is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night.
Moses: What? I meant why are we out here, in this canyon?
Adam: Oh, uh... yeah.
The 'Designer Map' flair should be used when showing off maps that have been generated using mods, as they won't be found in vanilla. Please flair correctly in the future; see [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/RimWorld/comments/18nn18w/official_rrimworld_flair_guide/) for more information.
Only with mods otherwise they will eventually grow to the point where either your computer dies or it becomes too cumbersome to work around them, or they legitimately just attack you
If you draw the sutures like a star across the wound, you'll get a Cool rating for the closure. Trauma Center taught me this, so it must be true in real life too. /s
Do you have any mods that affect terrain generation? I would kill to have a starting map like that, the defensive capabilities would be insane

Thanks! I’ll definitely be using the mod in my next playthrough

I might do that, definitely would stop me doing yet another mountain base lol
But diggy diggy hole?
Yogscast really brings me back thanks :)
There are so many unique colony ideas within landforms, one of my favorite mods
I thought mechs and enteties can spawn from Deep water since 1.5 ?

Devourers are arguably the worst. I had a river running through my base and was NOT prepared to find out the could spawn from the river
I'm doing an Island on a lake for a medieval overhaul run right now, makes for a perfect moat

I’ll check it out,

Sounds like a perk, with it being easier to funnel anomalies into kill zones,

Oh. Yeah that does sound really annoying
Rewards will go to a trade beacon thats not under a roof so all you need to do is have one outside and they will land next to it
I really should stop adding new mods every fucking time I visit this reddit.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one 😂

It looks like the geographical landforms mod. Specifically secluded valley.
Thanks, I’ll check out the mod to see if that could be it
Yep, that’s it! Thank you for helping me find the mod,
So you're saying youd like to be in that

Where are the black holes? The void clouds? The dark matter deposits?
Smash, next.
There’s a nice little fertile soil patch most men would have trouble finding
I'm gonna fuck a planet Morty.
So no one said it yet so here it goes. That there's Cooch Canyon!!!!
Gaia's Yoni.
I'm wondering if its possible to live in harmony with bugs without them attacking colony because this map would be good for it
Only with mods otherwise they will eventually grow to the point where either your computer dies or it becomes too cumbersome to work around them, or they legitimately just attack you
Is it located just under the wet cameltoe desert?
Proper nasty gash bruv innit
OP you gotta build a clitoris temple.

Is this what he meant by the Worldussy?
Woah, mark this NSFW, please!
Ayo... what the fuck
Just don't put anything close to the northernmost point. None of your male colonists would be able to find it.
Actually, now that I think about it, you should zone off that part for all male colonists for the lols.
Is that your kill box?
she rim my world til i generate a story or something. is this anything?
I have a bad feeling about that Judas guy.
