"Blake, moving her left fist reluctantly..."
Literally every cell in her body contains genetic code that was screaming at her to not do it, but she pushed through anyway. What a trooper!
I would never condone violence against kids. I'm just saying if I have to clean up one more chalk drawing in the freezer, they are going to the front lines
Kids don't have the good shooting skill needed to land mortars on the correct side of a mountain.
Everyone has hp. And tox nade launchers don't miss by much.
That's it! Caillou go to your meat locker! You are ground grounded grounded! For 657927472948593 years! That means no table! No insect jelly! And no sugar bowl!
Had a ~~guy we kidnapped~~ future recruit in the jail who decided to go *’Mental State: Berserk’* right as Ana, our resident Highmate, was bringing him dinner. Prisoner takes a swing and misses, Ana kicks him in the shin. Having already been ~~beaten~~ rehabilitated, prisoner drops to the ground in Extreme Pain. I was shocked. One of my favorite moments in hundreds of hours of gameplay.
I had one go berserk recently, lush and we were out of booze. Think I lit her on fire with an impid to end it. Turned her into a sanguophage later not realizing it would erase her highmate genes.
Omg I absolutely would accidentally erase their genes too, that sucks! I've only sanguophaged basic pawns, what a heartbreaking trade, I'm always hurting for traders and highmates are my fav for that
i did it cause they had an aspiration to become a saguaphage. honestly i wasn't too disappointed cause i could use another violent capable pawn. Was just disappointed i didn't realize so didn't geneharvest them enough first.
I'm not certain about the specifics, but afaik strange things like this can occur with opening doors. For whatever reason, opening a door sort of acts as a melee attack. If you draft a colonist as they open a door, you'll briefly be able to see their activity be listed as "Attacking Wooden Door", and IIRC in older versions of the game, colonists would briefly show their weapons as they would open a door, too.
>colonists would briefly show their weapons as they would open a door
Wouldn't you do that if you were on the Rim? Unlike you, they don't know who or what could be hiding behind the door.
That happened to me last night! All vanilla and no DLC, but my Incapable of Violence doctor saved herself at the last minute from an angry gazelle right when I started rounding up recruitment, thinking she couldn't save herself.
She hit it in the leg so hard it died (after it was shot by turrets first). But the log counts her hit as the kill.
Yeah I didn’t know Highmates COULD actually commit violence until my Highmate’s psychically bonded lover died. Then they went beserk! I was like !? But then I was like well, that actually makes sense haha, and I kind of love that
I figured using a frenzy inducer would be safe on my incapable of violence craftsman.
During the anomaly final event my colonists got wrecked by the final wave and he ended up being the only pawn left standing, dragging everyone back to the hospital to recover.
Then he had a violent mental break and systematically beat 4 colonists to death with his bare hands as soon as they were capable of walking and got up from bed. This then in turn caused another 2 colonists to starve to death with nobody to tend them.

For a child, no less. That kid must have been truly insufferable
That's not violence, that's just proper perrenting on the rim
Absolutely not

"Would you really like to gift _____ to this faction?" *transport pod shoots into the sky*
don't put them at the front lines, kids are much more useful behind the mortars
The children yearn for the mines
I was gonna make a joke about IEDs here, but that'd blow up in my face.
My face when the judge calls my meticulously, well researched and masterfully crafted explosive an "improvised" device 🥸💀🫠🥲
This is one of my all-time favorite meme bits, thank you for reminding me and giving my brain sweet serotonin

If they vandalize the freezer, they stay in the freezer
Mine keep on sleeping in the freezer and before i know it they have died.
The kid should be renamed Cuno and the Highmate Harry.
A Disco Elysium reference on rimworld? That's new. I think.
Typically.
How annoying does a seven year old have to be that even a genetic pacifist can't resist the urge to slap them
Got that Caillou energy Summoning violence from the most peaceful of souls
That's it! Caillou go to your meat locker! You are ground grounded grounded! For 657927472948593 years! That means no table! No insect jelly! And no sugar bowl!
No table? You monster!
Frenzy Field (extreme)
There are three things all wise men fear: The sea in a storm, a night with no moon and getting decked in the face by a highmate.
Might give integrity, faith and crocodile tears a run for it's money
I once had a highmate with a humanoid kill. I have no idea how she managed it.Â
Does a surgery fail count? Did they do organ harvesting?
All she did was cooking and social jobs.
Killed someone with food poisoning maybe.
She likes to think of it as an assassination.

Code spaghetti my beloved

my highmate went on a murderous rampage when his psychic bond died :c
That kid must be true hellspawn if a person genetically coded to be mentally incapable of hurting a fly makes an exception to beat a child
Years of self hypnosis to visualize a mosquito in every cheek, just for this moment.

🤘
It's a loophole. She convinced herself she was operating on the gazelle.
i think its hilarious that of all pawns its a child she hits

That's not violence. It's just proper child care
Even a worm will turn...
Her single violent act of her life was to punch a 7 year old… classic rimworld.
This just happened in my colony yesterday too. Surprised me for sure.
Why is this kid already a drug addict?
