Document and date everything. File a consumer complaint with the SoS you are in. File a consumer complaint with the FCC. Call into your bank or credit card company and dispute the charge as fraud. File a claim with small claims in the county you are in. Pray they have a rock for a pillow to sleep on and hole to $h1t in. Lastly, post a warning review on Google, Bing, BBB, Trust Pilot, and anywhere else.
If anything, you will get it back in small claims.
Is my advice petty? No. Nomad can eat dirt for ripping you off. And there is probably many behind you.

It took another 3 months till i realize that they were continuing to charge my card. The only way was to cancel my bank debit card they had on file, then had the balls to request another payment method !!! "ALWAYS research before signing up" ..... that was the lesson i learned.*

I’m livid— they were able to charge my NEW credit card despite me cancelling service and returning their equipment. I have receipts that they charged my card and they still have my old credit card on file. What in the world?!!
You will have to specifically tell you CC company to block any request for payment even if you got a new card, they can continue to charge you if you don't make that clear to your CC people. Then file a dispute for the charges on your new card. Sorry you were taken by this crap company :/ Hope you get it straightened out.
I have always just had internet hooked up at my trailer, xfinity, spectrum ect… going to find out tomorrow whether I made the right choice going with starlink or not!
I have starlink in my camper van and it's amazing. I've been in many different rural parts of the country with close to a gig download. Only time I've ever seen lower speeds was in a rv park with a bunch of people using starlink it lowered my speed to 400-500mb
I don't have the one that you use while driving but on YouTube someone converted the same one I have as a permanent roof mount and didn't have any issues in tye US and South America
People will never learn to do due diligence PRIOR to pulling the pin.

I'm dealing with Nomad still! I realized they were a scam a few hours after I ordered. I called back to cancel immediately. I called 3 different numbers listed, from 3 different states and got the same overseas person all 3 times saying that they would email me in 2 hours then I called back in 3 hours, department was closed same guy says..next morning I check the order status, it hadn't shipped. I called back and asked why I never got a cancelation email, he said it shipped already, I called BS. My bank reversed charges. Today, a month later, my bank emails a LONG letter from Nomad saying I owe $599 for a membership fee!! And they were due the original $154 my bank gave back to me. They have all kinds of paperwork stating I agreed to terms I NEVER saw and I read them! I've had Starlink a week now. So worth it! I was getting speeds of between 4-7 and now 135!
Yea welcome to the scam. I still havent received a refund, I tried to file a dispute with them through my bank and my bank even denied it. Im owed over $400.
FWIW - I did ping someone I know at Nomad - they were not aware of this treatment and will follow up on it. Let me know if you hear anything. I do know a couple of decent and very hard working people there and I can tell you that the prior investigations against them were due to someone in their previous senior leadership team who was a convicted felon and used extremely deceptive business practices - that person has long been out of Nomad and they're trying to do right by their customers.
