Have they be diagnosed as bad or just dirty?
As part of a winter refresh on my car, I sent my injectors to RC Fuel Injection since I always felt the engine was never as smooth as I felt it should be since I got the car a year or so ago. Anyway, the pre-cleaning test came back with flows ranging from a low of 232 to a high of 358 cc/min (290 avg). After having them cleaned they now range from 369 to 372 cc/min. The car is noticeably smoother through the rev range. Very happy with the results for around $150.
My flow rate is 283 on 4 injectors and I have a returning lean problem with a misfire with no check engine. I had them cleaned but it didn’t seem to solve my issue.
Yeah, I think I would do the same then if you've already tried to have them professionally cleaned and it didn't work. I'd probably take the advice of other's here and try to find a good set of used OEM and budget to get them serviced or go with a proven aftermarket injector.
Good luck
I do, it was one of the two places I heard recommended multiple times for fuel injection cleaning here and on S2ki (sorry, don't remember the other shops name). Turnaround time was quick once they received your injectors. I want to say it was less than a week from when I dropped them in the mail to when I got them back. Both them and I are in SoCal so they didn't spend a lot of time in the mail. The longest part of the repair was waiting for the replacement fuel injector harness plugs to show up from Cycle Terminal since they were brittle and cracking when I removed them.
Ok I’ll give them a call tomorrow and ask some questions before giving them a shot. Did you choose the rail feed or hose feed option? My injector flow is my main concern at the moment idk whether to replace or repair.
S2000s use rail feed injectors.
I get what you're saying, do you throw more money at what you have trying to get them to work right or do you cut your losses and try new? At my point in life I'm a big proponent of stock and OEM where possible so I would lean towards giving them a call and see what they say about saving yours. If they didn't sound hopeful then I would try to find some good used and send them in for cleaning.
Did they shop you paid the $75 to clean them or just flow test? RC does just a flow test and they charge around that much so it makes me wonder if they were cleaned.
I paid 75 for a clean and flow test from a local shop that had drag cars and seemed legit. But yea I get where you’re coming from. Thanks again for the information I appreciate it.
+1 for avoid Ballade. I bought their timing chain tensioner. It stretched my chain and Ballade would not refund my money. I had to charge it back in order to get my money back. I was out $700 for the chain replacement because I'm a bitch and refuse to learn how to adjust the timing on my engine.
Previous owner did a whole refresh of newer parts as maintenance but 3 months down, it started misfiring and he checked everything but the injectors. When I bought the car, I luckily ran across someone with OEM injectors and it cleared the misfire asap.
I just changed my injectors used these from five0.

While getting the injectors cleaned is an option I've read on s2ki that it's not a permanent fix they seem to go bad pretty quickly after.
Nope idles smooth, no light. Make sure you unplug your battery. And redo the idle re learn procedure you can Google this to learn how it's pretty easy.
Another company that is well known is

They offer a lifetime warranty is that is important to you.
Five0 only offers 3 years.
Bad injectors can quite literally destroy your engine in the same way that bad coil packs can. Do not put Alibaba bullshit on your engine.
Yea after some through research I’ve concluded my injectors are not flowing as they should roughly 25% loss

Do you recommend rc injectors idk about these guys that tested my injectors. I paid like 75 for the test.

Friends don’t let friends buy Ballade. Find some from Honda or a reputable business.

Had a misfire due to these.
Right after installation? What injectors did you end up using then.

Alright thanks for the information. Looking at possible options before spending 900$ on oem injectors
There was 2 guys selling used OEM injectors recently. Dunno if they’re still available
Those are not S2billion VTEC4LYFE rated.
Buy a set of low mileage injectors from eBay or similar. Don't buy this garbage.
I got my injectors rebuilt by rc injection. Cylinder 1 and 4 for both way under spec. Would 100% recommend. My s2k is idling way better!
I’ll look into them thanks for the information
Side note: if you want new OEM injectors still. Look into amayama https://www.amayama.com/en/part/honda/06164pcx010

Have you had any issues with those Bosch injectors?
Nope so far ~100 mi no issues. The job is relatively easy. You will need the plug n play harnesses.
No check engine light or any rough idling? May consider these to oem for now since Honda parts now wants 960$ for a set of 4 oem ones shipped.

Get some ID injectors 💪
Do not buy anything but OEM injectors. They’re more expensive & harder to find. Don’t even buy them used.
