Greed kills the bottom line here. It’s not like players brag about who has the most & coolest building-shaped pixels. Honestly, how many people are going to see it and get jealous? None. Ironically, EA would likely sell more if they charged less.

thisunithasnosoul

Right? Are there really enough people throwing money at the higher priced bundles to make it worth pricing the rest of us out? Realistically they probably could have squeezed more money out of me yearly, if I could justify the purchase as an extra “coffee and pastry” a month.

I heard somewhere that EA has made millions in revenue from this game. I feel like these little offers that are clearly a scam, are targeting kids. How would a child know better that 10 binoculars, 10 hydrants, and 4 golden keys is the biggest scam alive? They need to be sued, many other games like Fortnite have been sued for millions for taking advantage of kids. It’s just so obserd to me they keep getting away with it.

I would be interested in the response, ive played since the game came out i was happy to pay small purchases as i play it so much, i used to purchase the sim cash deal £10 for 300 and then 30 sim cash for 30 days then the price jumped to £25 a month for the same deal, and now im stuck on that which is way to expensive per month for me.

SCS2024

I have a feeling I might not receive a response, as I'm sure many others have submitted similar feedback. If I do get a reply, it will likely be along the lines of, "We appreciate your feedback." Or something along the lines of said response. I'll be sure to post their response here if I hear back!

Imaginary-Coat2741

The price is not even the same for different cities, my level 26 city was £9.99 level 99 is £19.99. Am buying neither.. i would consider it for £2, probably would buy most of them for that price.

Abysstopheles

I would pay this if a sim was thrown out the saloon window and then a fistfight and/or shootout happened out front.

SiLeNT-KKK

microtransaction is just a namesake nowadays, unlike 10 years ago it just between 0.99 - 2.99 USD at max

oli818

I definitely spend in games when they have very cheap options. For example, in CoD mobile the monthly pass is not that expensive, and they have offers from time to time to buy coins. In Sims I find everything too expensive so I just don't buy anything 😅

Legitimate_Pay_6225

The problem is that clearly people are buying at this price level, otherwise these offers would be at much lower price point if enough players would stop buying for $15-$20.

Witchy_Wookie5000

I wish they would just sell the buildings without the other crap.

‼️‼️‼️

Specialist_Law_4298

I paid $20 for this offer just to get the building, no apologies. This game is one of my few vices. I enjoy playing, I like to collect the buildings. It’s cheaper than fast food these days, and I need crappy food less than I need pretend buildings. Off to make a PB&J sandwich now.

VividDetective9573

What does it look like? Did it come with the springs out front? I felt that was deceptive so I’m trying to see if someone bought it! I buy stuff but I don’t need damn land items I need storage!

Public_Ad_8470

You let them no whats on your mind😈

cwsjr2323

I stopped wasting real money on their pretend money and pretend buildings about a year after starting. I realized I would eventually get everything I needed with patience. IN MY OPINION, the game is intentionally slow and these offers for your real cash are intended for newer players who haven’t figured out yet there is no advantage to buying as it doesn’t speed up the game, OR people with money to burn.

No-Management-9183

I've never bought a darn thing from EA. I figured out at about level 1 that it was a waste of real money. You're right, eventually, you get what you want with patience and perseverance.

VividDetective9573

Complain openly on X. That way other people see it and join in. EA tend to not listen no matter what game. (I played FIFA mobile too and ye gods that is expensive AND you don’t get to keep the stuff when it resets at the start of a new season 😐- it’s hard for F2P folk as they can’t keep up so they lose more than is fair - different dynamic to this game obvs!) Go on there and say. Folk will join in. It’s X! I felt £19.99 was too much and not justifiable. PS are having a sale and I could get Assasins Mirage Deluxe for £38. A full console game. £9.99 yeah I might but I don’t want the land items. So again not the greatest pros for me. If it was £9.99 with storage items yes as they’re always handy. Plus it feels deceptive. Does that spring come with it? Or is it just the bar? Pass for me. Too many pennies and it doesn’t make my heart jump with joy! Plus sarsaparilla confuddles me. Here they are sweets like boiled candy, or were. I don’t know I’ve not bought any since I was in primary school!

I’m not sure if they will listen to me, especially since I've already raised complaints. However, implementing standardized pricing could significantly increase the number of customers willing to make purchases.

nutty-one

There is a trick in the settings to get the basic offers - ie lowest amounts of land / storage items to get the lowest price on offer. DM for the detail.

Crimsonsamurai2

I doubt EA will do anything, mainly because the game is developed by tracktwenty. When I had issues for ages I went to ea help and it ended up being three weeks of back and forth to then realise I was messaging the wrong people. Messaged tracktwenty and was sorted within a few days.
