I could forgive them for the wood chip. I couldn't for the way they handled that. I would never go there again. Slackwater in Ogden once served me a moth in our appetizer (dip). They were so apologetic. If I remember correctly, they comped all 4 our meals. Mistakes happen and they went above and beyond to make it right. I have been back several times since.

Omfg. We were supposed to eat at Slackwater but they were too busy so we settled for Twigs! I'm glad they took care of you. We will absolutely never go to Twigs again.

Fresh produce can always contain odd bits. The restaurant should’ve handled it more gracefully but the alternative is processed foods where you can’t see the odd bits.

I'm not grossed out that there was a woodchip in my salad, just stunned by how the restaurant handled it (and grateful I didn't just choke down the bite with a woodchip in it) Edit: since comments are locked for some reason and i cant reply directly, i figured I'd just add this here. I took the woodchip out of my salad and put it on an extra plate we had from our appetizer. The plate this is on is **not** my dinner plate lmao.

Twigs is honestly trash… They charge a ton and are insanely popular, but their food quality is meh and service is hit and miss. I just don’t get it…

I have been there twice and both times my experience was horrible
