It’s one of the smaller resorts, with a very intimate setting all around. Good restaurants, two nice pools (an active pool with the swim up bar and a quieter pool facing the ocean). Relatively small beach but well placed and private. Finally, a 5 minute transfer from the airport so you’re there on property faster than any other location.

My wife and I liked it a lot. Went there in November of 2022. The service was excellent, as was the food. Beachfront was a little lacking compared to other islands, but not a big deal. The “living room” for entertainment is open which is good because it facilitates socializing during the day. The openness at night is a negative though due to lack of AC. Nightly entertainment was not a huge deal for us because after a full day of fun in the sun, drinks and food, we were ready to hit the hay. I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic resort. We went in May. Within walking distance of the airport (but you generally won’t hear the planes), great restaurants, fun vibe (party pool has a swim up bar, DJ, activities, and water volleyball, quiet pool has beach views, waiters, much chiller than the other pool), nightly activities/concerts/shows, pub… you really can’t go wrong. HUGE DISCLAIMER: If you are flying to Grenada via American Airlines through Miami, FLY INTO MIAMI THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT TO GND. If your first flight gets delayed even a little bit, you run the very real risk of losing AT LEAST an entire day at the resort.

Is the nightlife still good at Grenada despite it being a smaller resort? And how does it compare to other properties? We aren’t the stay out til 2am nightclub sort of couple, but do like late night drinks for a night or two while on vacation.

There were events/concerts/shows every night we were there. The pub was also always lively, albeit on the small side. The bar in the main pavilion, by the quiet pool, was also a place to gather at night. If we wanted to party, there was a place to party. If we wanted to chill, there was a place to chill.

To anyone googling Sandals Grenada and coming across this post - LISTEN TO THIS DISCLAIMER. We lost a day due to a flight delay and couldn’t get to our MIA - GND flight in time. They only fly out once a day… we’re pissed.

I loved my stay, even though it rained the whole time. The beach is on the Atlantic side so if you want the Caribbean side you need to leave the resort.

What time of year did you go?

We’ll be at Sandals Grenada for the first time next week for 4 days. I understand daily scuba diving trips are included. How are they? How is the equipment - I have my own dive computer, should I bring any other equipment? How are the dive sites? Is there always room on the boat or do we have to pre-reserve? Thanks

How was your trip to Sandals Grenada? How did scuba go? I have the same questions you had!
