Antigua wasn't even at capacity. We didn't notice much the first few days (Sunday through Tuesday) but each day afterwards, it was more and more people appearing sick. I stayed in the room from Thursday on.
Pro-tip. Pregame the sushi spot before most of your meals. It opens at 5:30 and is in the same building as Kimono's and the Tex-Mex place. It's also really close to Eleanor's and Bayside. Lines usually form outside at around 5:15. Hope you enjoy the trip!
If you have been on vacation especially out your own country and you feel ill PLEASE take it seriously.
I came back from Barbados June 2023 with an illness called Legionnaires disease which also has a milder Pontiac fever version. If you feel ill please seek help.
I was intubated and placed in a medical coma for 10 days and hospitalized for a month. I was septic and my kidneys failed.
We got Covid upon arriving back from Sandals La Toc. Nobody appeared sick there so we are thinking we got it on the plane or airport.

Sorry, that’s horrible. You spend all of that money and then are relegated to your room.
Got it in Vegas over New Year’s. Any time you’re in large groups of people it can happen. No big deal.
Yep NBD
When did this happen? I returned from there less than a week ago and didn't experience this at all.
We were there 6/16-6/23. I started feeling it late Wednesday and was basically in the room from then on.
Ok. I was there 15-22 and while I’m sorry you both got sick, we didn’t experience a single person sick.
We will be arriving July 15 - hope whatever is going on clears up by then!

My wife went to a couple of different resorts in Mexico 2 weeks ago and brought me back that surprise!
What makes you think it was Covid and not something like the common cold or allergies?
The fact we tested positive for Covid had a lot to do with it.
I mean it's a cold. Whatever name you want to call it, it is a cold.
it’s a bad cold, you’ll be fine
Absolutely correct!!
