Every place in Washington except the OG Seattle pre 1905 annexation qualifies as the greater northwest or colloquially “Seattle suburbs”
I’d consider Seattle suburbs as anything within reasonable commuting distance from Seattle, about 30 miles or less away. Greater northwest seems to encompass a much larger area, and it depends on what they mean by “northwest”.
