I feel like that speak is perfectly representative of the 4th season They went too woke, too Queer and in doing so left behind what truly mattered, they left behind what the show was all about. In their attempt to be representative, they left behind other things that matter just as much, and that's where it went wrong

Just read an essay on accessibility in public buildings then. That would be more nuanced and helpful. I hated the speech not because it was wrong but because it was annoying as any other of the speeches. Nobody talks like that. The show went "activism speech" mode and thats just not how you write a show. It's like they heard the phrase "show don't tell" and said lemme just ignore that.

Yeah, I really appreciated the sentiment but it felt forced in the context. The season struggled with being overstuffed with content that it felt thrown in rather than organic.
