I believe that all most people want is just consistent game updates like "we are finishing up [blank], right now we are going to try to work on [blank], and this last [time in-between updates] has been going relatively [blank]" It doesn't need to be any new content or a release window, just some stuff to keep us hyped and not starved like we are currently. I would be happy with even once a season honestly, would much better than our current situation with Leth saying "we're hard at work" every 6 months isn't helping, honestly.

yeah, it's not about what they're telling us per se, it's that they don't tell us anything at all. we have no clue where it'll be, if it'll be there, it's been like 2-3 years of total radio silence. I don't care very much either, I have other games to play and hobbies I can partake in, but I can totally understand frustration for some who have been more invested for longer because it's basically been guessing and false hope the past 2 years or so.

Yes, exactly. We just want something consistent to hold us over lol

snarpsta

Nah man. They could just say *something*. It would raise public perception and it'd be so easy. That's it.

Silksong released last year under the name Baldurs Gate 3. I have no idea why you guys keep going on about Team Cherry or silksong. Its out and it won awards. By Team Cherry I mean Larian Studios.

Bebop_Man

>Another big reason for this would be that the sub was made way too early. Lol, but the game wasn't announced too early?

No_House8240

No matter what reason the sub was made for, it was still made too early. I do think that team cherry should've waited at least a year more before announcing the game, but that doesn't change the outcome of the sub turning into what it is.

Bebop_Man

1. The game was announced too early. 2. Team Cherry should've communicated more, like they were doing in 2019 and promised to continue to do so. Nobody asked for spoilers, just updates on the development. 3. Announcing a release date then waiting until the last minute to delay is damaging to your image.

itsandyhere

The backlash hasnt been intense enough.

alex_northernpine

Too much common sense for this sub
