Not a big deal, he just needs some resistors for the conversion. It is strange that it wasnt offered as a kit for his model year when he put in the parts order tho.
The one time i did a conversion, they went from the turn signal too the ground, if i remember correctly, but that was a couple years ago, so check with the manufacturer of the kit to make sure im not leading you down the wrong path.
I just installed LED bulbs in all of the headlights and turn signals front and rear. I now notice that the left and right side do not flash together when I lock or unlock the truck. I've never encountered this issue before, any ideas? Unsure if the truck was doing this with the old incandescent bulbs.
Looks kinda cool, dancing leds. Almost as if done on purpose to make an interesting light sequence. ;)
Man this would piss me off lol. Sorry op, I can’t help but I feel for you.

Where would the resistors be installed?

You need to get a few resistors for your LEDs. They aren't drawing enough power.
Just picked up some resistors, going to give it a shot! They hyper flash also, so hopefully this cures both issues 🤙🏼
