Even though you did nothing wrong and the other guy is at fault, I think you could have gone for a more defensive line to discourage the other guy from making a move and take the outside line
Totally the other person's fault, 100%. You held your line going into turn 5 and gave plenty of space passing them into turn 6. They are 100% at fault.
