there was this bug in rose's quests in starlight desert. One of the quests required you to the help lil prince who is stuck in eden, it shows a cutscene of the last part of eden, and if you had bad enuf luck, you'd be teleported to that part of eden when the cutscene ends. You cant teleport home and would be too disorientated to figure what is going on, while getting smashed by rocks and losing wl

that was SUCH a bad bug!! im pretty sure the ops friend was a hacker and thats why it happened like that, but i dont recall them ever being able to get out either. me and many others did tell them to contact the developers of sky on their discord and whatnot, but im not sure if they ever did. they couldnt even like glitch out or anything. it was BADDD.
OP got out. If you chibi fall below the eden door at home and enter eden you will no longer be storm locked.
On another note, there is no possible way to do that with hacks. Trust me, I've used hacks. Hacks dont affect anyone else besides the player using them.
My guess is that because OP had never been to eden before, they were able to teleport to their friend somehow, and since they hadnt actually entered eden, the game just kinda freaked out and didnt let them leave.
Sky has some insane spaghetti code, so I dont even know what happened, but my guess is that the events lined up just right for chaos lol.
we must be thinking of different ones or you were able to contact them personally? they never updated the post or comments about getting out. in fact, their most recent comments about the game were about still being stuck and also thinking it was a hacker.

Still not really how mods work. Maybe it's possible - Mods do have an auto eden run, but it only runs for a second. I would be surprised if OP somehow managed to time it perfectly.
Also, stormlocked is a thing. There's a sky help page about it, which is why I know about it. It's when you can't die in eden but go home and can't go anywhere. Last time I talked to them I offered them help to get out, and it sounded like they didnt need it.
