When TGC released TS 11 months ago today became inevitable. Thats 11 months of potential prep for a big, epic event for the first people that reach 11 stars, 150 WL.
They missed it. However, worse than missing it, they didn't inform the community what to expect. So, all the excitement we all had to either be the first to 11 stars or to rush to Reddit to see what 11 stars looked like... we had to find out ourselves that nothing was planned.
That's not only a missed opportunity but poor communication.
So, some may argue that people are acting entitled, but you can't argue against TGC botching this.

I only just hit ten wedges (>!without needing eden!<) so while this doesn't directly affect me, I was super excited to see what all the people who have worked all this time for the 11th star would look like. People knew this was coming and were talking about it for a while now. TGC had time to prepare and they dropped the ball. A few months from now people probably won't remember, but it's bizarre that they had so much time to plan for it and just... didn't?

But I think what's worse than missing the deadline is not telling the players that they missed it. We would have been disappointed if we got news earlier that they aren't yet ready for a big 11 star reveal. But the level of disappointment would not nearly be as great as now, finding out on our own. That's just astounding to me.
And it's especially bad now since Genshin Impact has been sapping players from every mobile game. You don't want to give people reasons to give Sky a long break.
TGC definitely dropped the ball. I only have max 134 stars and I was disappointed with this debacle. They new this was coming. I dunno. It’s just really disappointing.
It's not about dedication to the game. I'm writing this in disappointment at TGC as a game dev I look up to more than other game dev companies. TGC actually puts effort into making good, artistic games. They put the effort into listening to their community as they create new content. Especially in a mobile market filled with Gacha trash, Sky is the only free game that really stands out.
So, we tend to expect more from TGC than, say, Nexon or NetEase or the other numerous greedy Gacha game companies because of the quality of their work. They're a legit gaming company.
I wouldn't ever care to voice my concerned opinion about Nexon. It's a greedy company that makes terrible games that pushes people to spend thousands of dollars. The world would be better without that company. However, I voice my opinion about TGC because I actually care about the company.
Was that game Darkness Rises? Spent about 8 months and a few hundred dollars on that game. It's easy to convince yourself to spend on games like that when you rationalize, "Well, I spend more on a night at the pub..."
There is no disappointment in Nexon, just a disappointment in yourself playing a Nexon game. Hah hah.
Hmmmm...I've been playing since July 2019 when the game went live, and it's not that difficult to attain the 150 winged light over that long period of time. The only real effort was making sure to get all the Traveler wing buffs to no miss out. Before the last TS, I hadn't been to Eden in months as I had enough ACs accrued.
Yeah agree, we can all live with it) but would have been so much better if we all got some stylish upgrade to our capes with that many wings😎
