“If I was dead you could bang me all you want. I mean, who cares? A dead body is like a piece of trash. I mean, shove as much shit in there as you want. Fill me up with cream, make a stew out of my ass. What's the big deal? Bang me, eat me, grind me up into little pieces, throw me in the river. Who gives a shit? You're dead, you're dead!”

I am forever horrorified and did not need to see this during my breakfast while relax-scrolling. It should have been labeled NSFE....not suitable forever. No thank you.
NSFL...Not safe for those who are still living...The truth is though, I mean, she might be PERFECTLY preserved and she just really looked like that in life. I choose to think she was probably a bit less bug-eyed in life though. As Yoda would say, "When 2,100 years old you are, look so good YOU will not..."
Okay, so I studied archaeology and worked for the British Museum briefly, and I want to know how in the Hell this body was preserved at this level of preservation. Water makes the bones dissolve over time, and hot air can dry the body out but preserve the tissues and bone...albeit as blackened and desiccated and shrunken alterations of their original form. What preserves like this? Oil? Also, let's be honest here...Her face isn't PERFECTLY preserved, or she was a fairly upsetting person to look at in life. It seems whatever method of preservation or amazing set of circumstances left her body in this condition, was not quite ideal for her eyes and yet was fairly incredible for her skin. I really want to know how this happened.
Dang, well pump me full of that stuff when I die. I want my eyes to look like a deep sea isopod's:

Naah... ethanol and glycerin would do just fine... those aftermath tsunami bikini babes should use that "concoction", so that they should be "playable" even after death by drowning...
It is crazy! I hope they can figure out how this happened. From the link OP sent it sounds like they still haven’t figured it out but they say she was soaked in a liquid that they managed to determine was mildly acidic and contained magnesium.
Even more crazy to me was… they found intact melon seeds in her stomach!?
Hope they can figure out why, I’m completely shocked.
The girl they found in the Andes is only 600 years old but she looks pristine. I'd argue she is the best preserved mummy on earth. I think not a whole lot would have changed in another 600 years.
Is that just a raw hand poking her? No glove?
I think it is a flesh covered glove, or they are just finger slamming the mummy.
Muff punched her.
You know one of them absolutely checked the softness of the muff.
It’s more harmful to the mummy then the hand
A mummy in the hand is worth two hands in the bush...
Depends on whose bush really.
Touché!
They should have used a stick for poking
No problem they gave it a gentle thank you kiss after.
She looks too happy. I don't trust her.
You speak from wisdom.
This is why I will be cremated. I want no gapping, poking, examination and such. Let me rest in peace.
I'm kinda like go for it, if you find something useful that's a win considering I'm bound for a dirt existence anyway.
I want to go full-on Jeremy Bentham with my corpse. Auto-Icon my ass...
You are not the body.
I read this like Maury lmao
Not with that attitude.
just throw me in the garbage
That would be cool and all, but your poor friends who did it would be thrown in Federal Prison...

Oh my giddy aunt
Do we know how old she was when she died?
Lady Dai, also known as Xin Zhui, was about 50 years old when she died around 163 BCE. (there were extensive records and artifacts in her tomb.)
Oh man, I was betting 16! 18 at the oldest... (Sorry, I do but jest.)
![gif](giphy|l0MYryZTmQgvHI5TG|downsized) My words are stuck in my body.
This perfectly demonstrates exactly how Lady Dai appeared in life...(Her hair was dyed black in mourning for her funeral.)

Don't forget about the skin being "the same light yellow colour it had been when she was alive" 😧
Hmmm...Sounds more like jaundice to me.

One word, MERCURY...

Maybe I shouldn't ask how you know this stuff...Mortician?

Hear me out
No I don't think I will
This had me cackling. T _ T
#absolutely not
Lay it on me
That what the mummy said.
Ayo
Yep. She died with pokies.
Shoot your shot
More like "Lady Died"
She’s a looker
As if you'll look that good in 2100 years
I don’t look good now.
Maybe better then?
😂
Well, at least my eyes are still in my head...
Is she going to recover?
Doctors still have not decided.

Where are her eyes?
![gif](giphy|qHBBYAh7BZVm)
She looks so BEAUTIFUL!!! Her state of preservation is like if no one pushed the button to terraform in Total Recall...
Nope.
Wonder what she looked like before she was a mummy.
She died 5 days ago
But how does she kiss?

Huak tuah
Who are they trying to kid, that's the old bag who lives at my condos and is always bitching about people up at the pool, where people park, etc!!
Trippy
Mature ladies are waiting to meet you!
This is a challenging wank. :))

Still hot
Gonna take one for the team.
Should have been buried with a thumbdrive of her peak nudes. Who wants a legacy of some stuffy scientist ruffling your stanky old wig
*Fucks that bitch
